About

We are not currently booking weddings for 2026 or 2027. Thank you.

Established as a vineyard in 1995, Ciccone Vineyard and Winery has over 20 years of experience with weddings and events. A team of professionals will oversee, and assist in creating the wedding of your dreams, including a Wedding Coordinator to help every step of the way.

The back drop to your big day is the vineyard's historic and renovated Barn. Surrounded by scenic views of the hills, vines, and West Grand Traverse Bay the barn is a popular venue for Weddings and other Celebrations. Getting married at the pastoral Ceremony site, under the150 year-old maple tree with panaramic vistas of grapevines is every brides dream. We offer package rentals of the land and barn, and prices vary with the number of guests.

When you enter the Ciccone Vineyard Tasting Room, you are transported to another era with it's rough-cut beams, fireplace and old-world charm. Inspired by their Italian history, Tony, and wife Joan Ciccone chose the land and planted the vineyard by hand in 1995 .Fruit-forward European style wines are the result of this labor, and 14 varieties are offered in the tasting room, situated on the 45th parallel and on top of one of the most picturesque hills in Leelanau County.

Lovely Venue

Ciccone is stunningly beautiful and has it's own charm that made planning/decorating very easy. The staff was very helpful throughout the planning process and helped us put together a detailed timeline and layout. We had a very small wedding and the staff went over the top to help us stay stress-free and happy. I felt like the queen on my wedding day thanks to them! They supported every request and made the entire experience unforgettable!

Everything we wanted - complete with amazing staff!

My husband and I were not even all the way out of the car on our first visit (in a snow storm) when we had decided to book Ciccone for our venue. The view and the barn were the absolute perfect combination that we were looking for. On top of that, the staff were phenomenal to work with. They were always warm and welcoming on our visits, and flexible and helpful with us when we had to reschedule our 2020 date. We can not say enough great things about Janel and Traci who absolutely made our wedding day a dream. They were extraordinarily helpful - from coordinating all the vendors, to helping figure out set-ups, and taking care of any hiccups along the way (we honestly don't even know if/what the hiccups were... they were THAT good!). On top of that, Traci was our right-hand-man the whole day - always nearby with water or a cocktail or deodorant (it was HOT) when we needed it. We could not imagine our wedding day anywhere else.

We had our ceremony and reception at Ciccone and couldn't have been happier. Our guests were amazed at how beautiful the property was, especially the views of the bay from the barn windows. Sarah and Monica were great to work with--friendly, flexible, and very hardworking. Everything went smoothly the day of in large part to Monica's organization and vendor connections. If you choose Ciccone, I recommend using their suggested vendor list as it made organizing so much easier when the vendors already knew the property and staff. Overall so happy with Ciccone and will be back for anniversary wine tasting trips!

We had our wedding at Ciccone on May 31 2014 and I could not have had a better experience. Sarah, their event coordinator, is wonderful. She was always very responsive, very professional, and helpful in every way. On the wedding day she somehow managed to be out of sight, but always right there when I needed her and attentive to our needs. The setting was absolutely beautiful. Amazing views every direction you look, and the barn added that rustic feeling we wanted. We had many guests remark that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. I even had some of my vendors comment that Ciccone is the most beautiful reception venue in the area. If you're looking to showcase the region for your wedding, Ciccone is the spot to do it!

We had a fabulous wedding and reception at Ciccone Vineyards. The have two ceremony sites that I am aware of and both provide absolutely stunning views. We choose to have our site overlooking the bay. We had our reception in their barn, which provides a beautiful, rustic setting. Working with Marcale, the wedding coordinator, was very easy and she was very flexible and prepared. I actually forgot to order enough tables for our catering and we were able to add a table the day of the wedding, about one hour before the ceremony started, with no problems. Marcale also ensured that any other problems that crop up are solved as quickly as possible without the bride or groom even being aware of them. The staff that sets up the barn and ceremony site are also very flexible and a pleasure to work with. Our guests loved the vineyard, with both the views of the bay and a view of a hilly vineyard in the back. We were also treated to a beautiful sunset, which many of our guests stepped outside to enjoy. I definitely recommend the venue, and I know my husband and I will be stopping to visit, get in some wine tasting and take in the view when we are in town again.

If you are looking for a wedding venue in Northern Michigan (Leelanau County) that bring Lake Michigan and vineyards together- this is the place! Ciccone offers ah-mazing views of Grand Traverse Bay and rolling hills of the county. You can have your ceremony facing the vineyards and reception looking out onto the bay.
I gave the 3.7/5.0 rating for a couple of reasons:
- the barn: very rustic, and small in size, if you have over 130 guests it will be tight for dinner
- staff: ciccone provides you with a wedding coordinator to help you as you plan your big day and on the big day help to have things run smoothly. The coordinator was MIA 80% of the time during the day of and on the day of set up. thankfully my sister-in-law and one of my bridesmaids stepped in to ensure everything ran smoothly. This is roped into your cost of the venue. The coordinator did try to change my mind on several layout ideas, and wasn't as flexible as I think they should be.
value is good for the area, but you are paying for the view, not the barn. So be cautious if you fall in love with the view and it is the rainy season. I recommend looking at the Farmer's Almanac, it provided a solid prediction for my wedding day.
Very responsive team at Ciccone and helpful staff for set up. They were willing to move tables and chairs.
You are required to buy a certain amount of wine from the vineyard on top of the venue cost, so keep that in mind.
The wine was really good and paired well with apps and dinner.
Ciccone is very accommodating with vendors, and do not force you to stick with their preferred list. You have to bring everything in aside from tables and chairs.

Beware vineyard requires a minimum of six cases of wine be purchased as part of the venue cost.
Our guests did not feel quality of wine was very good and much wine was wasted. No parking beyond 20 spaces is available at this vineyard for your wedding guests. Only one womens and one mens room is available on site for your guests in the tasting building. You will not be allowed to serve more than ONE glass of outside champagne to your guests period. Their wedding planner is not forthright about restrictions of this venue and was not pleasant to deal with. No heat was provided for a very cold rehearsal ceremony even when requested. Guests complained that vineyard bartenders were not very knowledgable. Wedding planner drank wine during the rehearsal ceremony but forbid anyone else from drinking anything. Wedding planner demanded groomsmen fold and takedown chairs immediately after ceremony, then accused them of breaking a few. Wedding guests reported some chairs were broken when they tried to sit in them at the ceremony. Wedding planner threatened to shut down the wedding if we did not follow her rules to the letter. This is a beautiful spot but VERY restrictive and not compromising in ANY WAY!
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
