We used Jordan to both DJ our wedding as well as provide the stringlighting and uplighting. He was very professional and helpful. The venue looked amazing--we were extremely happy with the lighting. Also he made helpful suggestions about the wedding flow (given his experience DJ'ing) and was very responsible about getting everything setup on time. Finally, he brought a lot of energy to the DJ booth--would recommend.

Jordan and the rest of his staff at Chrysis Entertainment are amazing! They did such a great job setting up our lights (we had cafe lights strung in the rafters of an old fire house that was our venue) and selfie station. When there was a glitch with the selfie station and not all of the photos were showing up, Jordan stayed in his office all night calling the headquarters of the software company in Texas until he retrieved the high-resolution copies of all 400 photos, and then he then shared them with us through a drop box folder he created. He was so great and on top of everything from the beginning and went way above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect (and he was so empathetic about the missing photos, he truly cared about us getting them back). You should definitely book Chrysis for any lighting/entertainment needs. They're the best!

Compared to most events this company does, we were probably pretty 'small potatoes'. We hired Jordan's company to DJ at our sons rehearsal dinner. We wanted really great background music. So, no dancing, special lighting, etc. Additionally, I wanted him to work from our personal music library & presented him with a list of 80+ songs. What set Jordan apart from anyone else I spoke with was his patience and willingness to talk to me about our event and exactly how I wanted it to be. He understood that the music was very personal for our family, yet helped me fine tune our list to become more balanced. He seemed to have ESP because whenever my husband and I were thinking, "a little louder" or "little softer", etc, he was right there. I would highly recommend Jordan and his company and we wished he could have DJ's at the actual wedding reception because I would have loved to see and hear what he would have come up with!

I love Chrysis soooo much! They made the event. They had so much energy and were the life of the party! Jordan was great and helpful with suggestions; he organized the timeline so well, and hyped all the guests up! Honestly the best dj hands down,and I've been to a ton of parties. I had booked another DJ for my wedding months in advance. He became unresponsive one month before my Wedding Day. I called Jordan with Chrysis and I knew he was the DJ for us. He was very thorough, and very flexible. I told him my vision and he brought all of the equipment necessary to make it happen. He had numerous phone consultations with me to get a feel for the wedding and our tastes. I had already picked almost all of the songs but I gave him creative liberties with the cake cutting song and the Garter/Bouquet toss. He nailed it! He set a good pace during the wedding and almost all of my guests were up dancing at one time or another. My friends and family were very impressed with how professional Jordan was. I was very happy we chose him as our DJ.

Selecting Chrysis was one of the best decisions we made for our perfect Valentine's Day wedding. Jordan and his team are real pros, reasonably priced, and flexible and fun to work with. We didn't have a lot of time to plan since we had less than four months between our engagement and the big day. I experienced Chrysis at a big Halloween costume party in DC and loved the way they combined DJ and live music and singers. They did it all. Once I reached out to them, they were very flexible in putting together a package within our budget. In addition, Jordan was a great resource in offering suggestions about our wedding and reception music as well as the flow of the day. We also ended up using them for uplighting of the reception venue at the last minute. Most of our guests commented on how great they were as musicians and during the DJ set. My only regret was that I and my husband didn't get more of an opportunity to hear the band live when they performed during the seating of the guests and at the cocktail hour since we were in pre-wedding holding and taking pre-ceremony pictures. I recommend Chrysis and hope I have an opportunity to work with them again for future events.

Several local universities helped plan a South Asian event at an Indian restaurant this fall. DJ Jordan was a HUGE hit. While planning the event DJ Jordan was incredibly accommodating of our small budget, and very patient with getting the university to process his payment. He also worked with getting our playlist to be exactly how we wanted it. During the event, he went way above and beyond what we paid for! He brought extra speakers and lights, and incorporated a Dohl player into his service. He took requests and kept the dance floor alive the entire time! He will definitely be our DJ to call for our next Desi event!

We were so pleased with the uplighting and draping that Chrysis provided. We worked with Jordan and he was so professional and added extra touches that we weren't expecting. He was very flexible when our event ran over time. I highly recommend Jordan and Chrysis Entertainment.
