Christie and her husband Matt were a great team. They were very organized and communicative and were recommended to us from more than one person. She's very good with lighting. We were worried about how our portraits were going to look because of nerves, etc, and Christie had great tricks to make us feel comfortable and the photos came out great. They covered every element of our day. I think they were on the higher end of photographers we were considering but in my opinion they nailed it 100% and since you don't get do-overs of your wedding day it's well worth it.

I had found Christie while looking for cake inspiration pictures on Pinterest. A cake picture I came across led me to a site and listed her as the photographer for the wedding. That was kind of it for me. Everything about her and her husband's photography and editing style I instantly loved. It was exactly what I wanted, without knowing that's what I was looking for. I (we) got extremely lucky that she was available 4 weeks away from our wedding date. I had sifted through other potential vendors from time to time, but none of them really stuck out to me. Now that I was a month away I had started to panic a little bit. I actually wasn't going to have photography or videography and was repeatedly told how much we would regret it if we didn't professionally document our wedding. I (we) are so happy that we were able to book with Christie and her husband.

Aside from her true professionalism and talent, she is so personable, down to earth and kind. She and her husband Matt were so accommodating the entire day. They both worked incredibly hard the whole day and still always had a kind, warm smile. They were so good about keeping us to our timeline. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the lens. The only pictures I'm not really 'happy' with are the ones my mouth is wide open from laughing and smiling so large, haha. But there was no possible way I could mute my emotions that day, so...it is what it is, :)

You are in the safest of hands and will not be let down. My husband talk about how if we're lucky enough to get pregnant that we'd fly back to Oahu and book with them for our maternity photos.

We fell in love with Christie from the moment we first met her a year before our wedding. Her portfolio wow-ed us, of course, but what really confirmed it for us was Christie’s personality. She was so down to earth, friendly and easy to talk to -- she definitely was someone we wanted to have by our side on our wedding day. She’s super professional, yet so personable at the same time. On the wedding day itself, Christie and her husband Matt were so fabulous to work with. They gave us the easiest directions to follow and we felt like we were in safe hands. We never had to worry – we knew that Christie was on top of everything, like all the detail shots and following the timeline of the day. Coordinator aside, you could tell that she could command the day (in a good way) and as a result of being so organized and on top of things, you know that you’re gonna get a good set of photos because nothing was rushed or missed out on. Christie goes above and beyond and it just felt so natural with her throughout the entire process. We received some preview photos from Christie shortly after our wedding and we were blown away. Skills and professionalism aside, we just loved Christie and Matt for how they made us feel on the day – safe and taken care of. Thank you so much, Christie and Matt!
