Not only was their food absolutely delicious, they knew the ins and outs of our venue, gave us proper feedback on what we may need at the wedding, and were super responsive to any questions or clarifications we needed. We had a great experience with Cherry Bomb. They were responsive, professional and helped everything go seamlessly during our wedding at Valhalla Tahoe last weekend. Dawn made us feel like we were in good hands during the entire process. Every detail was accounted for leading up to and day of the wedding and we so appreciated that. Seriously I’m still dying thinking about that delicious food from our wedding. Cherry Bomb worked with us to make a menu that had vegan and traditional Options and everything was so good! Food was so important to us when we thought of our wedding and Cherry Bomb delivered!

Early on in my wedding planning process I knew I did not want to have basic wedding food. I wanted to feed my guests something that would tantalize their tastebuds! And, honestly, I didn’t want to end up eating a bland chicken breast with mashed potatoes. My husband I actually automatically threw out most potential wedding venues if the catering options were limited. We knew we wanted Cherry Bomb to provide our first dinner as husband and wife.

What really makes Cherry Bomb special is the level of professionalism and excitement that Dawn and her team had for our wedding. We started out with a plan for a 90 person family style dinner intended to bring our friends and family closer together, and Cherry Bomb was excited to work with us curating a perfect spread. (Obviously, this was pre-pandemic.) By the beginning of summer, we didn’t know what the status of our wedding would be by September. However, Dawn did not hesitate to keep an open line of communication regarding all COVID compliance changes. There was so much compassion and flexibility towards us as the client—even in the event of a postponement or cancellation. We didn’t even get another bill from Cherry Bomb until we were able to solidify our pandemic wedding plan. Our headcount eventually was reduced down to about 25 (including some meals for some other vendors). Even though we upgraded our meals a little bit (hello, filet Mignon and lobster), the final invoice was substantially less than the original plan. Even though we ended up spending much less money Cherry Bomb’s stellar customer service never wavered.

The food was of course totally the bomb! We were the first tasting in their new kitchen, and Chef Kelsi definitely impressed our parents and us! We had no complaints, and Chef Kelsi delivered a magnificent feast on our wedding day! Every single person on the crew was fantastic—especially, the one who helped me with the door as I made my grand entrance to walk down the aisle. I can’t even thank Dawn, Kelsi, and the entire Cherry Bomb crew enough for being the rock that my husband and I needed in order to pull off the perfect pandemic wedding against all odds.

Dawn and the Cherry Bomb team did any amazing job catering our 125 person wedding in a remote location. They accommodated for a variety of food allergies, working with us to make recipe substitutions to meet all needs. The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious- we were told by numerous guests that it was the best "wedding food" they had ever had! I appreciated the professionalism of Dawn and the serving staff- timely, accommodating, very friendly, and easy to work with. Before the wedding, Dawn met us at our venue to complete a walk through which was very reassuring. She also was willing to find ways to work within our budget. Highly recommend Cherry Bomb!

Stop your search now, you've found the vendor you should hire for your catering needs. They had such a wide variety of food, even offering to allow us to bring in our personal recipes if we wanted. I highly recommend the brownie bar as part of your dessert selection. Cherry Bomb took care of everything for us and made our day hassle free. They were full service, everything from appetizers, dinner, dessert, and bar service (ice included) to providing our wedding cake. All of this for the most reasonably priced quote we came across during our search. Thank you so much Cherry Bomb!

From the tasting too the wonderful service Cherry Bomb was always on top of their game. We opted for the Pasta Bar and Antipasta cocktail hour, considering we had a fairly large wedding and we were looking for the best option.
They were wonderful and as expensive as catering gets I felt that they left with the best option at our price point. and our guest were left happy and full! Ready to party the night away!

Dawn and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding! I was super indecisive about the food because there was so many amazing options, and they really helped me narrow it down and figure out what would be best for us. The food was DELICIOUS and they totally worked with my vision of wanting some super fun options for our guests - and we got rave reviews for the food!! They even did a churro bar for us which was a total hit. I've always felt like wedding food is super boring and not very tasty, and Cherry Bomb helped us achieve the exact opposite of that. Dawn and her Cherry Bomb team were amazing for my rehearsal dinner and wedding! We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about the delicious food. Dawn was super easy to work with and always had tons of suggestions, listened and responded to cost concerns, and was accommodating to some of our guest's specific dietary restrictions.
