Cynthia was very nice: with a very short notice she was able to come up with a menu I like. She is very good with communicating. Her staff were very nice they all take cate of me during the wedding.

My wedding reception was at East Fork Ranch in Gardnerville. Coming from the Bay Area, my guests were in awe of the beautiful scenery and mountain backdrop. Cynthia was there with us, and made sure that we were taken care of and happy! She even went to help my mother in law when she got lost! We couldn't have asked for better treatment there, and the whole venue is gorgeous beyond belief!

All of our guests loved the food! The flavors were great. The staff was also so nice and helped to make our wedding wonderful!

It was a dear book club members birthday and with the quarantine, we were unable to meet to celebrate.Being from So. Cal, I was not familiar with Genoa.  After having no luck finding a bakery or not knowing anythat were open and could deliver, I called the Chamber of Commerce and they suggested Cynthia at SierraChef.  Cynthia was terrific!  She suggested something delightful in chocolate and delivered it to my friends housewith a cute bow and a sweet card.  My friend was touched.  I have a very favorable opinion of Genoa now because of the kind hospitality showed by your chamber and the extra effort shown by Cynthia.  Thank you. DH

She was a very nice, sweet person. We loved all her help and had a lot of great ideas and from her. Her photography was perfect and she made sure I was taken care of on our day. She helped make it everything we imagined.

Cynthia and her team are impeccable! Every interaction I have had with her has been warm, professional, and exciting. She listens to your ideas and comes up with personalized solutions to help make any event a success. Her venues are impeccable, her taste is exquisite and she is extremely industry savvy. Any bride or host would be in great hands with Cynthia and her team!

My son and his bride were married on the shores of Lake Tahoe in August of 2015. WOW! Cynthia was Talented, Creative, Responsive! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cynthia! She was so amazing and made our wedding lists so much easier to manage! She even created little chocolate pine cones, tied with raffia and tags, for our escort cards for the rehearsal dinner. These were displayed on a bed of moss, tree stump slices, and real pine cones! So Creative! She then used Christmas ornaments from a Lake Tahoe craftsman to hang from a tree for the escort tags for my son's wedding. She responds quickly to email and to texts in the most cheerful and positive way! She was my biggest fan when I needed encouraging. Plus, she is the only certified sparkler person on Edgewood Country Club's list. Cynthia is so fun to work with and her designs are right on target. She is amazing and I would highly recommend her for your event or wedding. You will not be disappointed! She is a doll! ( I just wish I had met her a year before the event. Was introduced to her about 4 months before the wedding. She can do anything!)

I have not yet used Cynthia and Sierra Chef for a wedding yet however I HAVE used her for a large Graduation Celebration (70 people). Cynthia and her staff were AMAZING!!! Not only did they come up with amazing ideas and desserts but they even made sure everything was individually packaged and protected during the special circumstances of the Pandemic!! Our INCREDIBLE dessert table was a HUGE success and beyond impressive!!! I HIGHLY recommend Sierra Chef, Cynthia and her staff!!!

My now husband and I looked all over Northern NV for a venue to accommodate our fairly large wedding of approx. 200 guests. We had a few non-negotiables in addition to the space we needed for our guest count: Must have the option to end music and reception past 9pm, must allow us to bring in our own catering/alcohol and must be a breathtaking view of the mountains.

We found all of this and more at East Fork Ranch. We looked at this venue in the winter months so of course, we had to use our imagination a little bit when it came to the greenery and gorgeous landscaping/gardening the home owners have done but even that time of year the views of the Sierras took our breath away and the property had nothing but options for us to create an "experience" for our guests.

We were greeted by Cynthia, the venue coordinator, and immediately we could tell she was organized, professional and willing to pull up her sleeves to help make our wedding great. She is a timely and thorough communicator (between the property owners and local vendors) and had wonderful suggestions for catering (Bella Vita Catering in Minden) and other rentals items. Needless to say, whatever we needed she was there to help us make it happen.

I was personally a very hands on bride and wanted to be involved in each detail of our wedding so this venue was perfect for me as we did rent all items from chairs to bars, linens and plates. I personally like the fact that this venue allows you to have the option of rentals and doesn't just give you the basic chairs/tables/rentals that you have to work with. I understand that may not be what everyone is looking for but it was great for us.

Overall, we are absolutely thrilled with the venue and the way we were able to use the entire property for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We will forever recommend this venue to family and friends, we couldn't have asked for more!

Cynthia is the worst wedding planner I have ever come across. She is rude, unresponsive and entitled. She ruined my special day and I feel a huge obligation to warn other brides about her. She does not communicate, she blamed my husband and I for her mistakes and she made promises she was unable to keep. I promise, you wont be disappointed if you keep looking, she will ruin your special day.
