Cherry Bloom Photography is a wedding photography duo based out of Fayetteville, NC that specializes in Engagement and Wedding Photography. They feature a blended style of documentary and illustrative photography that focuses on the emotion of the day with the goal of telling a story through their images. While photographing engagement sessions, Leigh and Melissa are experienced with using prompts and games to bring out a couple's unique personalities in a fun way. Their love for what they do is evident in their work. They are veteran owned and operated, LGBTQ friendly, and a member of The Professional Photographers of America.

Cherry Bloom Photography offer their couples a variety of packages to fit their individual needs, to include an elopement package. Melissa and Leigh (the owners of Cherry Bloom Photography) were everything we could have hoped for and more. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, they captured such beautiful and precious moments of Alec and I, our families and friends. It was as if they knew us before they knew us. We spoke on the phone several times so they could get a feel of what we were looking for and they also gave us awesome suggestions and ideas.
It brings such a big smile to my face and heart just thinking of the experience they gave us. Because of them, we will now be able to relive our wedding day for a lifetime!

Great artistry, professional and fun photographers!
Melissa and Leigh took both our engagement photos as well as our wedding pictures. We were married in Raleigh and both Melissa and Leigh were incredibly patient with the southern summer heat, and they made sure my husband and I had the chance to rest between events.
I appreciated that they were able to make my family laugh and also keep a pack of bridesmaids up with the schedule!
Along with all of this Melissa and Leigh are true artists and took such beautiful photos of the day, even following the vintage theme that Luke and I were hoping for. We loved the dreamy color photos plus rich black & white photos with classic poses!
We highly recommend them to anyone!

Our wedding
Melissa and Leigh were fantastic from the first meeting with them all the way to us getting our wedding pictures back. They worked well with us when getting our engagement photos done and understood it is awkward being the focus on the camera. They made sure to capture natural shots so not all of them were posed for they just happened to capture the moment. Same goes for the wedding day. They ensured I, the bride, was under no stress and they kept me on the time schedule I wanted to keep. They captured beautiful pictures at times my groom and I had no idea they were around! They allowed us to enjoy our big day and would pop in and update us appropriately. If I could do my wedding over I would choose them again to capture our wedding day!

We cant't say it loud enough, Melissa and Leigh are an OUTSTANDING duo!! They make such a great team and really connect with you! They do all they can to know you on a personal level and it shows on the photos they took on our special day! We were able to relax and have fun without worry of a single moment being missed. When we got our photos back, we are just obsessed with them! They blew us away with their talent and will forever be close to our hearts! No words can describe how great these ladies are. Melissa was the best through the whole process and offered great advice! The day of my wedding she made sure that I didn't feel overwhelmed and offered space when needed. They were was a joy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding. The pictures I have back so far are beautiful and I know the rest will be as well!

No words can describe how amazing these ladies are! They take their time to get to you know you and your personality. They are so professional yet have fun at the same time, we had such a blast during our engagement and wedding photos. They helped with posing and picked the perfect spots for photos. We love our photos and will forever cherish them! So glad to have such amazing photos to remember these special times. I will definitely be working with these ladies for future photos!

Where do I even begin. These ladies are worth more than the 5 stars I'm able to give them. Not only were they professional, talented and kind they went ABOVE and beyond to do everything possible to help my husband and I. From traveling to Charlotte so we could do our engagement photos in the spot we met to going as far as helping us to find a new ceremony location when our 1st (and 2nd sigh) fell through and even being more than patient when my wedding party was still putting things together at their start time. I'm not kidding but I swear I thought I saw them throwing away trash at some point at the end of the reception. These ladies were a God send and we feel so blessed to have had a chance to work with them. We are more than pleased with our experience and suggest anyone in or around the area hire them like yesterday :-).

These two ladies are absolutely WONDERFUL!! I had 0 ideas on poses, scenery, etc. for my engagement and wedding pictures so they had to work with little to no help from me. They were able to suggest things for us that perfectly showed what we wanted our pictures to show. They created a stress free environment while keeping the ball rolling so it didn't take an incredible amount of time. My favorite thing about Cherry Bloom Photography, and the thing that I've heard the most comments about from guests and other viewers, is that they were able to capture every moment that was posed and every moment that was 100% natural. They covered my wedding to a perfect degree and did it without hardly even being noticed throughout the night! They are the ninjas of photography :) Honestly, they are the perfect photography package. They were easy to contact throughout the process, a joy to work with personally, the photos were unbelievably stunning, and their prices were beyond reasonable. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Thank you so much Melissa and Leigh! We look forward to working with you again for our future precious moments!
