Chasing Chickadees Photography is a husband and wife team based in the Las Vegas area. The owner and lead photographer, Alicia, is a professional photographer who has a fine arts degree concentrating in photography. She has over 15 years of experience, working with every type of photography. Alicia loves to capture the spirit of people in portraits and weddings the most.

Her background in science studying birds and life working on ranches and with wildlife gives her work a flair with nature and landscape. Whether photographing baby birds or capturing the love and passion between two humans, her heart and soul are always with her behind the lens.

Working within the field of weddings is her jam! From the planning to the details to the big day, she is there beyond a photographer to make sure you can sit back and ENJOY your wedding. Her fun energy will put you and your wedding party at ease and delight you with vibrant, joyous, and timeless photos capturing your love story. Alicia and her husband, Keith, will keep your wedding day extraordinary, beautiful, and fun!

Best Bay Area photographer I know

Alicia was awesome in every way. My fiancé and I hired her to do our engagement photos. We wanted a beach shoot, and she went above and beyond to research what beaches were the most scenic and got there early to scout the best sites for us. I’m not always comfortable in front of a camera, but Alicia made the shoot fun and I immediately felt at ease with her. Our hour with her flew by, and the photos are stunning. Her prices are super reasonable and I’d highly recommend her for anyone in search of a great photographer.

Alicia Is Your Girl!

Alicia is your girl! She is patient, professional, and so easy to connect with. I’ll be honest, I had a full bridezilla moment and was completely done with family pictures, but Alicia handled it with nothing but grace and patience. She always took my calls and texts and made the entire experience stress-free. Honestly, she felt like wedding coordinator 2.0, keeping things moving, organized, and calm while making sure we got everything we needed.

This was our third session with her, and by far my favorite, our wedding. Our first session was a photo shoot, our second was our engagement shoot, and the third (the wedding) was absolutely the best. We are already looking forward to our fourth session… possibly a baby reveal!

Her pictures truly speak for themselves. She uses beautiful natural lighting, very natural editing, and captures moments in such an authentic way. Her energy matches her photos perfectly, warm, calm, and genuine. She is worth every penny.

One piece of advice for future couples: take her emails seriously when she asks what photos you want, have a list ready or ask questions. She truly wants to make sure nothing is missed.

Hire her. She is amazing.

Best Bay Area photographer I know

A Special Person & Photographer

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then Alicia's work warrants a whole essay! Incredibly kind, upbeat & professional, Alicia and Keith from Chasing Chickadees were my favorite people I got to meet and work with during the wedding planning process. With a love for her job (that almost rivals the love she has for her cat), Alicia went above and beyond to capture all the special moments of our wedding day. Despite the heat, Alicia and Keith ran up & down the entire venue all day- picking out the perfect spots for first-looks, getting ready photos, and sunset pics- even scaling the top of a building to get an overhead shot of me tossing my bouquet! My family and guests repeatedly went out of their way to tell me after the wedding how much they enjoyed having their photos taken by her. And that brings us to the pictures- honestly, it was a real challenge to pick which ones to include in this review because they were all stunning. Not to mention that she had them all edited and sent out in two weeks- this woman is a photographing/editing machine!! Finally, I think Alicia did something that only great wedding photographers can do: she made me feel truly beautiful as a bride. I am so happy I got to meet her and get to know her- she is a really special person.

Amazing Photographers!

Alicia and Keith are the best in the business!!! Knowing Alicia for my whole life, it was an easy decision to have Alicia and Keith photograph my April wedding. Alicia made sure my spouse and I were very comfortable in front of the camera. We received our sneak peaks and we are IN LOVE!! The pictures we received are STUNNING! I would recommend Alicia and Keith over and over and over again. Thank you for sharing our special day, it was a honor to have you celebrate with us!!

If I could leave 11 stars I would.

Alicia and Keith were amazing! On top of being professional and super prepared, they were also fun, positive and helped us make our special day wonderful! Before the wedding Alicia was very responsive, going so far as to help us plan our timeline, and helped keep things moving day of. She was speedy in getting us our final gallery and the photos are simply stunning. I love the way she did the lighting, her creativity on poses and setting, & her direction and efficiency. Literally could not have asked for a better experience. I will be recommending this team to everyone I know.

Wonderful!!

Alicia’s energy lifted us all and captured the moment, with the rain and crazy circumstances she brought to life the incredible love that surrounded us on my daughter’s special day. We could not imagine having anyone else having been there with us and I’d recommend everyone to hire Alicia @chasingchickadees to capture your day!

Great time with Chasing Chickadees!

Alicia and her husband Keith are great! They are very nice and want to make sure your day is special and your photos turn out the way you want them to. Our shot list got a bit crazy the day of, but I think we only ended up skipping a couple photos the whole day. When getting a sneak peek back from Alicia, I noticed my hair and makeup people left my extensions showing! Alicia was nice enough to edit them out of all the photos I felt like they were really obvious in. She also let us request other moments of the day where we thought there may be specific photos that she hadn't originally included in the album. Many she had, some she did not, but it was really nice of her to let us request them! Also, she got us all our photos back only ONE week later!! That is crazy fast! Overall can't go wrong picking Chasing Chickadees! My maid of honor said she liked our photos the best out of all our friends weddings :)

Best Photographer Ever

Alicia is the best photographer I have ever had. She makes you feel confident and relaxed during a day that can be very overwhelming. She made me feel like a super model and became part of our family’s instantly. I would recommend Alicia if you want to have the best photos and feel like a queen!
