Wonderful!!
Alicia’s energy lifted us all and captured the moment, with the rain and crazy circumstances she brought to life the incredible love that surrounded us on my daughter’s special day. We could not imagine having anyone else having been there with us and I’d recommend everyone to hire Alicia @chasingchickadees to capture your day! -

Alicia and her husband Keith are great! They are very nice and want to make sure your day is special and your photos turn out the way you want them to. Our shot list got a bit crazy the day of, but I think we only ended up skipping a couple photos the whole day. When getting a sneak peek back from Alicia, I noticed my hair and makeup people left my extensions showing! Alicia was nice enough to edit them out of all the photos I felt like they were really obvious in. She also let us request other moments of the day where we thought there may be specific photos that she hadn't originally included in the album. Many she had, some she did not, but it was really nice of her to let us request them! Also, she got us all our photos back only ONE week later!! That is crazy fast! Overall can't go wrong picking Chasing Chickadees! My maid of honor said she liked our photos the best out of all our friends weddings :) -

Alicia and her husband Keith did a phenomenal job not only capturing gorgeous shots on my wedding day but also our engagement shoot and rehearsal dinner. Her positive energy is infectious and she made me feel so comfortable. She also had an incredibly quick turn around time to get my final photos to me! Alicia goes above and beyond got her clients. How can we even begin to describe the tremendous impact Chasing Chickadees had on the success and specialness of our wedding day? All through the pandemic she was there for us with encouraging words, answers to all our questions, and in-depth advice for the big day, and most importantly unmatchable enthusiasm! Alicia is a fantastic problem-solver and handles all of the unexpected that a wedding can bring with ease and grace. Together Alicia and Keith are the perfect team, both when working together during the main event as well as separately to capture special moments with the family and bridal party before the wedding. Everyone including us responded so well to Alicia and Keith’s warm and genuine manner as photographers and this made pictures a fun bonding expereince even for the most camera-shy!
After the wedding day, Alicia was amazingly efficient in getting us our wedding photos, even sending us gorgeous teasers which helped us realize that it all really finally happened! And the photos were beautiful! My sister put it much better than I can, saying “Alicia really captured the colors and feelings of the day” and it is so true. The Chasing Chickadees team captured all the moments - both the big ones and the small special ones - so genuinely and gorgeously and we are so thankful for that.
We will be highly recommending Chasing Chickadees to everyone we know who is getting engaged, and highly recommend them to anyone even thinking of getting married! The day of the wedding we didn’t even stress because we knew we were in the best possible hands (or wings!) with Chasing Chickadees. -

Fun, High Energy, Gorgeous Photos!
I came across Chasing Chickadees Photography in my search for a wedding photographer, and being the bird nerd that I am, I could not pass up a name like this without investigating. I am so happy that I did! Alicia and I clicked immediately as fellow bird nerds and I could see the joy she had for both wildlife and photography.
I loved working with Alicia! She was amazing. She captured the feelings of my wedding so well and made sure to capture all the details that made our wedding unique and personal to my husband and I. All my bridesmaids said she was so fun. She had so much energy that just radiated to everyone throughout the whole day.
Alicia was also such a great help beforehand with my day-of timeline and adding in where and when we would take all the different pictures. She knew exactly how long the pictures would take and what was the best order to complete them in, especially family formals. Alicia even met me at my venue a few weeks before to find the best spots for pictures that fit with my vision of a dreamy redwoods first look!
And her barn photography was amazing! If you are getting married in a barn with low light, hire Alicia! There were no orange faces and her pictures of our barn reception came out amazing! Her husband Keith was great too. The groom and groomsmen had a great time taking serious and funny pictures with him. Keith and Alicia are such a great team! I highly recommend Chasing Chickadees Photography! -

And then we got our photos, I am still amazed at how beautiful they came out. I don't have the wall space in my how to hang them all, but they are all so beautiful, I want too. The BEST is an understatement!!! She literally did it ALL I went in with nothing and I was stressing so much she said to me ,”don’t worry about it I will handle it for you.” She was amazing and without her I would have been lost. Alicia was awesome in every way. My fiancé and I hired her to do our engagement photos. We wanted a beach shoot, and she went above and beyond to research what beaches were the most scenic and got there early to scout the best sites for us. I’m not always comfortable in front of a camera, but Alicia made the shoot fun and I immediately felt at ease with her. Our hour with her flew by, and the photos are stunning. Her prices are super reasonable and I’d highly recommend her for anyone in search of a great photographer. -

Exceptional wedding photography!
Chasing Chickadees is hands down the best photography team I have ever worked with. Alicia was exceptional from the moment I expressed interest in booking for my wedding. She responded quickly and provided me with the most well-organized formals guide, as well as a sample contract and timeline which reflected exactly what I mentioned wanting on my wedding day. She followed up with me several times as we approached my date and had me feeling special with every interaction. I could tell her and her husband Keith made sure to visit the venue prior to the big day because they were very well prepared! I really enjoyed the time Alicia spent with me and my bridesmaids while Keith spent time with the groom and his groomsmen. They had endless pose ideas and made us feel so comfortable and confident. They were very efficient and professional, but also bubbly and fun. The photos were INCREDIBLE! They captured EVERY moment perfectly. I had so many favorites, but the photo they took of everyone in attendance for my ceremony was extra special (and impressive)! I had access to an online library so soon after the wedding. Downloading was easy and I even had the option of ordering prints directly from the portal. Alicia followed up to make sure I loved my pictures and she even sent me the sweetest little memento over the holidays. I can go on forever, but what matters most is that I would book them a thousand more times! They contributed to the perfect wedding in many ways. Stop looking elsewhere, you want them! -

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Alicia & Chasing Chickadees Photography. I booked a shoot with Alicia as both a gift for my husband's birthday and to celebrate our 20th anniversary after viewing her AMAZING and unique astrophotography images. What a great evening it was for our 'Date Night' to celebrate outdoors! Alicia was so helpful and fun all the way through the process of setting up the date and the shoot. We spent the evening out under the big glorious night sky stargazing, gazing at each other, and laughing with Alicia and team. Alicia really provided a magical space and shoot that felt exciting and special. And there was wine & cookies (and mystical 'sheep on a bike')! My fiance and I most likely will never be able to use another photographer after having Alicia and Keith do our wedding. Alicia was with us every step of the way and beyond exceed any and all expectations we ever had. She and Keith were a huge part of how successful our rehearsal and wedding day went, and people are still telling us how great they were at the wedding! Everyone was in love with them and their powerfully positive and loving energy that they bring, and they were open to anything that we threw at them!
They are worth every penny and more for all the support and talent - they provide top of the line pictures. I cannot recommend them enough and we love them! -

Alicia is absolutely the best wedding photographer out there. She makes everything so easy and effortless and went above and beyond anything we could have asked for. She makes you feel beautiful and truly cares about your wedding vision. She did our engagement photos as well and it was so nice to work with her before the big day! If you have a big wedding party don't stress! She can wrangle up all 20 of our wedding party and 200 guests for photos!! She checks in with you and answers any questions you have. Such a wonderful friend and photographer, we are SO happy we got to work with Alicia! -
