Chagrin Valley Athletic Club is a country club for couples who desire a country wedding venue in the Cleveland, Ohio area. This rustic venue prides itself on beautiful outdoor wedding ceremonies in the enchanting gardens. The country club is located 30 minutes outside of Cuyahoga Valley National Park and 35 minutes outside of downtown Cleveland.

Facilities and Capacity
The outdoor garden ceremony features lush greenery and a picturesque lake. Couples can marry under a white pergola that shines against its natural background. The Grand Ballroom seats up to 250 guests in a simple room with a painted white brick wall and soft carpeting. Couples and guests can also enjoy dancing under the stars on one of the club’s waterfront decks. This building features a three-story white exterior with a dark roof and dark shutters, giving it a classy and welcoming appearance.

History
The Chagrin Valley Athletic Club was inspired by a similar club in the Miami area, and the property was purchased in 1967. At that time, the club was nothing more than a charming farmhouse in a rural setting. It was then transformed to include locker rooms, a snack bar, tennis courts and concrete-lined swim lake with a beach. In 1992 the club was sold to Jim Rosenberger, who has since renovated the club to add the main lobby, dining and banquet areas, and an indoor pool and fitness center.
