I am a licensed and ordained minister in the state of Virginia. I'm a graduate of the College of William and Mary and the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond with a Master's in Divinity. I also have training from The Well, an ecumenical retreat center in Spiritual Direction. I have performed over 60 weddings, both straight and gay. I do premarital counseling as well, and spiritual counseling.

My specialty is to craft a ceremony to fit a couple's desires. I've done weddings for Jewish/Christian couples, Quaker/Jewish/African American, Buddhist, Egyptian, Christian, Nondenominational, etc. Basically, I will work with a couple to customize their ideal ceremony for their special day. I've gotten over 40 five-star reviews on the Thumbtack Professional Site and won a certificate for Best Reviews in 2015. I also have a badge for Best Professional 2016.

Weddings have occurred at churches, beaches, wineries, retreat centers, homes, and country clubs, among other locales..

I believe that all the world's great religions share one common trait, and that is loving-kindness. That is a common principle in all of the ceremonies I write. I help couples to write their own vows, suggest templates, songs, poetry, individualized ceremonies, i.e., Sand ceremony, Unity Candle, Wine Ceremony, Tying the Knot.
