I could not be more grateful for Carasco - I found them through IG and immediately fell in love! To start, we found them during COVID so had to set up a call instead of meeting in person when we were searching for photographer for our wedding. Of the 4 different teams we met virtually with, Cara and Scott were the ONLY team to request a video call with us vs a standard phone call. It seems like a small thing, but for me this was huge, especially during covid and showed just how professional they were. We immediately clicked and soon after signed with them. We ended up liking them so much we booked them for an engagement shoot and I booked them for a boudoir photoshoot as a gift to my husband.

Cara and Scott and the rest of their team were amazing throughout the entire wedding process as well as leading up to it. They work with you to make sure they get the shots you need with the people you need but also take lead and bring in their artistic flare that a lot of photographers don’t have nowadays. Wedding day was rushed due to external circumstances but they made it work and helped us the entire way. Just saw the teaser shots and I am in LOVE! Thank you Carasco team, we love you!

Cara and Scott are so talented and efficient! We met with 5 or 6 different photographers before choosing Carasco and we are so glad we did. The thing that stood out most about Cara and Scott was that after seeing so many different photographers, you hear a lot of people telling you that "these are the shots we take", "everyone has this iconic Chicago shot" etc., the theme seemed to be that our photos would look the same as every other Chicago wedding. With Cara and Scott, they told us right away that a wedding is about the couple; unique to the couple, no wedding photos are ever the same. As we perused through their collection of wedding albums that rang true. Their photos are all unique and they truly capture what YOU want....after all, this is YOUR day and they really make you feel that way. Our engagement photos turned out INCREDIBLE and we've received a few sneak peek photos from our wedding and they are fantastic! I was confident with my choice when we chose them, and they really proved they are THE BEST during this entire process. They are extremely responsive, met with us for dinner to discuss different location points if rain or shine, and just made us feel so comfortable. I highly recommend Cara and Scott. They are an incredible power couple and will make you feel at ease on your wedding day.

Cara and Scott Nava at Carasco Photography were an invaluable asset both in our planning process and on our wedding day. We felt instantly comfortable around them which really came across in our pictures. They worked to determine our style and executed to a "t". They were very flexible and did everything needed to make our wedding photos perfect. Cara and Scott are super organized so they make sure that you get every photo that you want in the most time efficient manner. We absolutely maximized our value due to the planning and communication that Cara and Scott initiated during our planning process. People cannot stop commenting about how fantastic our wedding photos are!n They captured every detail of our wedding in the most unique way. Not only are Cara and Scott incredibly talented photographers, but they are genuine people who take honor in capturing couples' special day. We couldn't imagine working with anyone else.

Photography was one of my biggest concerns for our wedding. After meeting with Cara and Scott at Carasco Photography and booking them for our wedding, my concerns subsided and I am thrilled with the memories their associates Ryan and Leland captured from our Wedding Day! My husband and I met with 3 other possible photographers and no one compared to Cara and Scott. Not only were they personable, but they really showed enthusiasm at our initial meeting. My husband and I were surprised to see that as we were talking, Cara was creating a timeline and writing all the important details down. Right there, we knew we had met the perfect company to capture our wedding day. Although, Cara and Scott were not the official photographers for our wedding, Cara and Scott worked with us all the way up to and after our wedding day. They made it so easy to just trust our photographers and to not stress over what was happening. I knew that Ryan and Leland would capture what I wanted. I had spent a lot of time talking with Cara about the things that were important to us. Cara was and is amazing! She answered any and all of my questions within hours, and I had A LOT! I absolutely love my wedding pictures! Ryan and Leland captured all the moments I had wanted and even some that I did not know I wanted. They did amazing work and it was one of the hardest things to choose a specific number of photos for my wedding book. With that said, 5 months after our Wedding, Cara and I are still working together to get our wedding book completed. I cannot wait to see the final photo book but I know Cara will create something amazing that it will all be worth the wait. As part of our wedding package (which was altered to exactly what we wanted), we also had our engagement photos through Carasco. It was a perfect way to get to know Ryan and create that initial relationship so that the day of wasn’t uncomfortable or weird. We are very happy with our engagement photos!

My family hired Carasco Photography for my husband's and my wedding which took place over Memorial Day weekend 2014.

We initially found them through our venue, Germania Place, on the list of "preferred vendors" and decided to meet Scott and Cara in person to discuss our expectations and vision for the big day. From our first meeting in their awesome studio, it was clear to me that Scott and Cara not only have the credentials and experience as top-of-the-line wedding photographers but they were very helpful in getting me to articulate what my vision for the wedding was. They were very supportive from the time we started working with them (in March 2013 or so) through the day of and after the fact, when photos were developed and processed.

We ended up booking Ryan, who is one of Cara and Scott's lead photographers. I cant say enough great things about Ryan; he has a great sense of humor, was easy to work with, and we never felt awkward around him (yep, not even during those "now stare longingly into each others' eyes" engagement photos). We had our engagement photos taken with Ryan and he was great; everyone was very impressed with the quality and breadth of the photos. The same was true for the wedding day, which went amazingly and which was perfectly captured by Ryan and his partner that day, Leland. There is not one photo opp I didnt get that I wish I had; Ryan captured everything and did so in a creative way that truly captured the spirit of the day. The photos were so good that, in fact, my mother who did not order a photo album as part of our photo package initially was so enamored with them that she immediately called Cara to order one.

I highly recommend Carasco Photography for their wedding photo services. They are among the best in the Chicago area from a price and quality perspective. Thank you Cara, Scott, and Ryan!

We absolutely LOVE Carasco Photography. We wanted to find someone who was not only a great photographer, but someone whom we could feel 100% comfortable spending our entire wedding day with. We were also very drawn to their artistic photo style, as much of their work could easily be featured in high-end fashion magazines.

Their demeanor is calm, professional and yet friendly. On the day of the wedding, they were unobtrusive and yet managed to capture hundreds of memorable shots of us, our friends and our family on their hands/knees to capture the perfect pictures.

we interviewed many photographers before choosing Carasco. I think after the wedding dress, this was the hardest thing to do. We saw their work online and fell in love. After we met them in person, we were sure about our choice. I wanted romance and fairly tale like pictures and that's exactly what i got. They are super professional and quick to answer my many questions, suggestions and concerns. They really worked with my busy schedule and even gave us an engagment session just two days before the wedding. i remember that i had to change the time for the engagement pics 2 hours before the actual meeting time and they patiently waited for us and never complained. they are a nice couple, professional and easy to work with. on the day of the wedding, they came ontime and took pictures of everything. i mean really everything. all the details are captured so beautifuly and deligently. we have gotten so many complements on the pictures. they are just fantastic. i recommend them to everyone. and i hope we can work with them soon. never know, maybe for the baby pictures one day :) thank you for giving us so many beautiful memories
