Scott was incredible, bringing exactly the right energy all night long. He was quick to answer emails during the planning process and always helped alleviate any concerns I had as we got closer to the day. He even captured our private last dance, so we can have that memory forever. The dance floor was full from the second it opened and there was no limit to ages out there. Our friends and family loved the photo booth, too. Can't recommend him enough!!

I originally had a DJ booked for my wedding, someone I knew personally, and we'd been talking about the event almost weekly for a year and a half. Then, about two months before the wedding, he told me he'd booked a trip that weekend and wouldn't be available. I had to scramble to find someone else and was so relieved when I was able to book with Cape Tunes! We also added one of the photo booth options, and everyone loved it. I didn't get a chance to talk to the attendant much, but the pictures came out amazing and I'm really glad we did it.

The booking process was straightforward; I filled out the initial paperwork and then decided to make a few changes. It was easy to reach Scott through WeddingWire to update everything.

Cubey was assigned as our DJ and reached out a couple days before the wedding. I would have preferred connecting a week earlier when I wasn't quite so stressed, but it wasn't a major issue.

On the wedding day, Cubey introduced himself during our photo session, though this ended up being a bit distracting for the photographer. Later, during cocktail hour, he sat down at my table to chat. He reintroduced himself and then mentioned he thinks it's unprofessional for vendors to sit during weddings, then immediately stood up and left.

Once we entered the reception, our first dance was wonderful, and Cubey did a great job getting people onto the dance floor. During our planning call, I'd explained that most of our guests were older and about half were dancers, so I wasn't expecting a packed dance floor the whole night since I'm not much of a dancer myself.

Throughout the reception, I barely got to talk to my guests because whenever I wasn't eating, Cubey was encouraging me to get on the dance floor. I managed one dance in my dress before I felt like I was going to pass out and needed to change. After that, I was able to steal some moments with guests, but my husband was on the dance floor looking clearly exhausted.
At the end of the night, Cubey wanted our guests to form a circle around us for a dance where we'd pull people in. I'm sure that works great for more extroverted couples with big friend groups, but that's just not us, and I had to signal him to move on because we were both exhausted.

Looking back a week later, I'm still getting texts from people telling me what a great time they had and how much they loved the music, so I know Cubey did an excellent job. If I'd been a guest instead of the bride, I'm sure I would have felt the same way. He took our ideas and song requests and created a fantastic playlist. However, as the person writing the check, I felt there could have been more attention to what we were comfortable with as a couple, rather than feeling like I needed to hide to enjoy my own wedding.

Keith was an amazing DJ! He did a fantastic job at feeling out the vibe of the dance floor and playing the best tunes!! We also loved the mirror Photo Booth, it was big hit! The uplighting was a great touch too. 

Working with Cape Tunes was easy and stress free! They did a great job of keeping the party going and we would definitely recommend them!

Cape Tunes, and specifically Cubey, our DJ, did a fantastic job. They were responsive to all inquiries, helpful in answering all of our questions, and had a clear direction to help us plan the music we wanted for our reception, cocktail hour and ceremony. They were on time, professional, and made the party even more fun! Cubey brought great energy to our party, played exactly the songs we wanted, did an excellent job in reviewing, double and triple checking our requests before the event, and read the room well to keep up the energy. We received so many compliments on his entertaining style, from the great music mix to the fun line dancing and his amazing energy. I used cape tunes for my wedding back in 2021. They were the absolute best. When you are worried about so many things and a vendor comes in so organized and makes the process easier it is like a breathe of fresh air. They had the entire wedding on their feet. At the end my fil said that was thr best DJ he had at a wedding. Cannot recommend enough!

Cape Tunes! You definitely want to be booking them for your next event! Scott and his team went above and BEYOND. We were lucky enough to have Scott dj our wedding and Pat on guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and our guests had only amazing things to say about both of them! Our guests said that Pat was KILLER on the guitar and was playing music that had our younger and older guests singing and dancing too. He kept the good vibes going for cocktail hour, and my only disappointment was not being physcially there to enjoy more of his set. We absoutely loved having live music as a part of our day. Now Scott, he had a tough act to follow after Pat and not to mention our family loves to party, but is picky to what. However, Scott brought the energy ALL NIGHT LONG. My family started a conga line song one and the energy kept going from there! Honestly, wish we had his set list because I would love to create that energy for any get-together. We laughed, we danced, we cried. It was perfect. 10/10 would recommend hiring Cape Tunes for your next event (and get the photo booth, you won't be disappointed).
