Based in New York City, he received his license from NYC to officiate weddings. As such, he can officiate anywhere in the country and abroad, with some additional paperwork, if necessary. Today, he takes pride in joining all manner of couples together in marriage, and he loves assisting with the planning stage, as well. He'll even become the Pop-Up Project Manager to get everything going at the wedding venue. Having officiated over 275 weddings to date, Daniel is truly well-versed in the art of presiding over a diverse host of distinctive ceremonies.

PLEASE NOTE: Daniel does not officiate on Saturdays until 6pm, or on Jewish holidays.

Services Offered

Dan is delighted to work with couples who are planning non-denominational, Jewish, secular, same-sex, and commitment vow-renewal ceremonies. Operating throughout the Tri-State area, he really likes to get to know the couple who book his services, and to do so, sends out a questionnaire. This allows him to craft personalized, significant, and heartfelt ceremonies that couples can identify with. Typically, ceremonies last between 10 and 15 minutes, but they can be much shorter, depending on personal preferences. In addition to speaking English, Dan is also comfortable with officiating German, Italian, Russian, and Hebrew

Listen to Cantor Daniel chanting. A professional singer, he can learn any song you want to have him sing in your ceremony. Very special. https://youtu.be/K0Akl5LMdeI

DISCOUNT FOR THE UNEMPLOYED

Cantor Pincus feels that business should be ethical and caring. If the main breadwinner states "unemployed" on the marriage license, he will offer a discount.

Please note that, given the new information about any new variant, he will officiate indoors only if everyone is at least single-vaccinated.

We hope you take a look at his excellent reviews and inspiring photos.

Excellent experience!

Working with Cantor Pincus was such a joy! We were honoured to have him marry us. We first came across his profile while searching for an officiant who could perform a Jewish ceremony for us. Cantor Pincus had wonderful reviews and upon our first meeting with him, we immediately knew that he was the right fit for us! We wanted a traditional Jewish ceremony and Cantor Pincus delivered above and beyond. He was so generous with his time and really ensured that our needs were met. We had a few meetings with him prior to our wedding and he always left us reflecting on the wisdom and Jewish teachings that he shared with us. We were absolutely delighted when Cantor Pincus brought a drum to our Ketubah signing ceremony. He made it so special for us and our families, celebrating us with his beautiful voice and songs! We were not expecting such a wonderful Ketubah signing experience and it is something that we will cherish and remember for the rest of our lives. The wedding ceremony was incredibly touching. Cantor Pincus delivered a heartfelt speech, in which he incorporated small details about us as individuals and as a couple. It felt so touching to know that Cantor Pincus took the time to read our questionnaire answers to ensure that our ceremony was personal and intimate. We truly felt so comfortable to be married by such a wonderful, kind, and wise individual. We felt honoured that after the ceremony, Cantor Pincus took the time to introduce himself to all our guests, including our families. Our wedding was made so special by Cantor Pincus. We are so grateful, and we hope that he will be a part of many other joyous occasions as we grow our family!

Thank you Cantor Pincus!

Cantor Pincus officiated our wedding on August 6th. We had a small Jewish wedding with family in the upstairs of a restaurant. Cantor Pincus made our wedding ceremony feel special and went above and beyond!

Prior to the wedding, he had a couple Zoom meetings with us to get to know us. He also sent us a questionnaire, and he used our answers for this questionnaire in the ceremony, which gave the ceremony a nice, personalized touch.

At the ceremony, he entertained our guests, and sang some Hebrew songs. He has an incredible voice! He also played the drums and blew the shofar.

Our guests were so impressed by Cantor Pincus, and we received SO many compliments. Thank you Cantor Pincus, for helping to make our wedding a day that we will never forget! :)

Jewish Reform Cantor and Wedding Officiant

Hi,

Congratulations! You are getting married, and want to shop, but not too much, for someone to officiate. I bring decades of classical and religious singing, reading philosophy and literature, spiritual care in hospice and nursing homes, and public teaching to bear on your ceremony. Please, go to my storefront and look around. I like what's there, and I think you will, too. Any officiant here can do a fine job for you. I hope I'm the one you'll choose.

Thanks for stopping by. Let's connect.

Daniel
