Based in New York City, he received his license from NYC to officiate weddings. As such, he can officiate anywhere in the country and abroad, with some additional paperwork, if necessary. An experienced celebrant, Daniel has led a multifaceted career to date. He has worn many hats over the years -- a singer, a Jewish Reform cantor, drum circle leader, and a spiritual caregiver. Today, he takes pride in joining all manner of couples together in marriage, and he loves assisting with the planning stage, as well. He'll even become the Pop-Up Project Manager to get everything going at the wedding venue. Having officiated over 275 weddings to date, Daniel is truly well-versed in the art of presiding over a diverse host of distinctive ceremonies.
PLEASE NOTE: Daniel does not officiate on Saturdays until 6pm, or on Jewish holidays.
Services Offered
Dan is delighted to work with couples who are planning non-denominational, Jewish, secular, same-sex, and commitment vow-renewal ceremonies. Operating throughout the Tri-State area, he really likes to get to know the couple who book his services, and to do so, sends out a questionnaire. This allows him to craft personalized, significant, and heartfelt ceremonies that couples can identify with. Typically, ceremonies last between 10 and 15 minutes, but they can be much shorter, depending on personal preferences. In addition to speaking English, Dan is also comfortable with officiating German, Italian, Russian, and Hebrew
Listen to Cantor Daniel chanting. A professional singer, he can learn any song you want to have him sing in your ceremony. Very special. https://youtu.be/K0Akl5LMdeI

Hi,
Congratulations! You are getting married, and want to shop, but not too much, for someone to officiate. I bring decades of classical and religious singing, reading philosophy and literature, spiritual care in hospice and nursing homes, and public teaching to bear on your ceremony. Please, go to my storefront and look around. I like what's there, and I think you will, too. Any officiant here can do a fine job for you. I hope I'm the one you'll choose.
Thanks for stopping by. Let's connect.
Daniel
