Camp Ocean Pines is a unique outdoor wedding venue located in Cambria, California. Since 1946, this beautiful venue has welcomed over 100,000 happy campers to make memories in the great outdoors. Nestled away along the coastline, it boasts the perfect blend of romance and rustic beauty.

Facilities and Capacity

Camp Ocean Pines offers various top-notch event spaces that set the stage for a magical wedding celebration. Cameron Lodge consists of two rooms, one of which is the main dining hall. Here, most receptions and wedding dinners are held, and it offers 1,740 square feet of space, making it the perfect choice for all occasions, big or small! If you're hosting an intimate wedding, you can set up your bar here for a cozy, convenient experience. The adjoining room is the Fireside Room, at 1,211 square feet, and is often used for DJ services, dance floors, bar set-ups, wedding cakes, and other wedding activities like photo booths, photo walls, and gift tables. In cases of inclement weather, this space has also been used as a ceremony location. The venue also offers get-ready rooms, such as Pines Lodge, a gathering spot attached to a large deck. This area is ideal for cocktail hours or indoor seating as a backup. Camp Ocean Pine even contains 10 cabins and two apartments available for lodging during your wedding weekend. Each cabin is approximately 500 square feet, affording you and your loved ones with comfort and luxury. Outside, you and your partner-to-be will be spoilt for choice! The venue features a rainbow amphitheater for wedding ceremonies, accommodating 250 seated guests. You can also exchange your vows at the Main Bluff, overlooking beautiful vistas of the Pacific Ocean. Other outdoor spaces at Camp Ocean Pine include an 8,000-square-foot playing field and a mini-amphitheater.

Huge shoutout to Erin, Nicole, and the entire Camp Ocean Pines team for one of the best weekends of our lives! We struggled for months to find a wedding venue that fit our vision of environment, togetherness, fun, and creative freedom…until we discovered Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria! This venue has it all: gorgeous ocean views, sweeping monterey pine backdrops, various intimate and configurable spaces for event locations (ceremony/cocktail hour/reception, etc.), on-site cabins for you and your guests, and activity spaces throughout the property with an included hour of target sports facilitated by the staff! The best part - Camp Ocean Pines is available to rent for the entire weekend so you and your guests can enjoy each other’s company and get the quality time that can feel so scarce in a typical 8-hour event. Camp Ocean Pines even has an on-site kitchen, and they’ll provide the rehearsal dinner, reception dinner, and the day-after brunch! The food was delicious, and it took so much weight off our shoulders to have the camp take care of the food so we didn’t have to. The Camp staff was incredibly helpful and collaborative throughout the entire process, and we were so grateful for the opportunity to strategize with such wonderful people. The Camp is centrally located on the Central Coast, so it’s easy for your guests to access the beach, Fiscalini Preserve, and Cambria only minutes away from the property as well as so many other amazing spaces within striking distance (Hearst Castle, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Big Sur, etc.). Camp Ocean Pines is truly an amazing place, and we have heard again and again from our guests how deeply they enjoyed our event in part due to the magical nature of the property, the surrounding environment, and the beautiful mosaic of amenities that the camp provides.
