Wedding Officiant & Pre-Marital Counseling

Your wedding day should be filled with peace of mind knowing your ceremony will be performed with class and excellence. My name is Pastor Jon Looney and my goal is to customize your ceremony by getting to know you personally and working with you to craft the perfect ceremony to fit your special day.

Option #1: Ceremony, Rehearsal, & Pre-Marital Counseling

My preference is to meet with the bride & groom three times prior to the wedding. The first meeting is simply to get to know you, hear your story, and discover what kind of wedding you envision. During this meeting I will recommend pre-marital counseling materials that you will work through as a couple. This covers important areas such as finances, communication, family dynamics, constructive "fighting", roles, and expectations. I cannot stress enough the importance of couples covering these topics together as they move into the most important commitment of their lives. The second meeting will be to discuss the first half of these materials and what you discovered about one another. The final meeting will be to discuss the second half of the materials and finalize details for the wedding day. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due at the first meeting to hold the wedding date and cover the pre-marital counseling. A final payment of $300 will be due at the ceremony for a total of $450. Price also includes my participation in a rehearsal if requested and within reasonable driving distance.

Option #2: Ceremony Only

If you have already received pre-marital counseling or choose to skip that important step, I am still happy to offer my services and help you design a custom ceremony to fit your special day. I will meet with you one time prior to the ceremony to get to know you, hear your story, and discover what kind of wedding you envision. We will discuss the details of the ceremony and I will be available by email or phone leading up to the ceremony should anything need to be altered. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is requested to schedule an appointment/reserve a date and $250 will be due at the conclusion of the ceremony for a total of $300. An additional $100 will be due if requested to attend a rehearsal within reasonable driving distance.

I hold a Master's Degree in Global Leadership from Fuller Seminary and I am an ordained minister through The Foursquare Church (http://www.foursquare.org). I serve as a full-time Pastor at Antioch Church in Simi Valley, CA. I am 37 years old and have been married for 13 years to my beautiful bride Denise. I look forward to being part of your big day and joining you as a couple for a lifetime of joy together!

Please contact me to schedule an appointment or if I can answer any questions you may have.

Jon did a great job at our wedding! We met up with him and got to share our story with him and he crafted a great wedding plan with us. He is very flexible and let us customize our ceremony just the way we wanted it.
