Alice is a life saver! She took the time to make my dress perfect. She did the alterations that I needed and more! Alice is dedicated to making her clients happy and she won’t stop until your dress is exactly how you want it. I also threw her a curveball by adding a white jumpsuit to be tailored and she took on the project without hesitation. My jumpsuit was too small and I didn’t know it was possible to make it fit, she made it work and it fits like a glove! Stop reading reviews, just go see her. She is a sweetheart and will make you feel like a princess.

Alice is just a lovely human being. She has a calm and very pleasant demeanor, and made the experience of dress fitting feel effortless. She was recommended by the Bridal Shop that I purchased my dress, and I was lucky enough to secure appointments in store. For my first fitting, I especially appreciated that she explained each alteration that needed to be done and why, along with additional info/details regarding the fabric itself, and how it behaves.
She also provided recommendations for certain things, that made it clear she’s very experienced in this area. The bodice on my dress had to be taken in a little bit, and Alice made a point of asking if I wanted regular bra cups or push-up bra cups sewn in. I would normally have gone with the regular cups, but she mentioned that the push bra cups help make the bust look fuller on the outside for photos, whereas the regular cups would make it look flat. It’s the details like this that distinguish a good job and a great job. I absolutely recommend hiring Alice, my dress looked amazing and she is wonderful!

From the moment I put my dress on after Alice worked her magic, it was everything I hoped for and more. The fit was absolutely flawless, every adjustment made with such precision, skill and care. Alice always made me feel confident in each decision and guided me through the process from start to finish - even helping me with the smallest of attire details, like the tape for my straps. I was able to move, dance, and fully enjoy the day with total ease and confidence because of the care she put into making my dress absolutely perfect. Alice did a phenomenal job altering by wedding gown! I felt like a true bride in my gown on my wedding day! Her alteration job was perfect. At the first fitting, Alice took her time explaining all of her suggestions, and what the process would look like. She even suggested to use a crochet hook for my mom to loop the buttons on the back, which ended up working out beautifully. She was very clear on her Invoice of each charge and an explanation for each alteration. Alice was extremely personable and very easy to work with! She also communicated very quickly and put me on her schedule right away. I couldn't recommend her more!

My experience with Alice has been amazing. Her attention to detail and customer service is superb. I had no idea what kind of dress i wanted how to explain my dream dress and she was able to interpret everything into a beautiful dress. During the pandemic i was fearful of trying on floor samples and wanted avoid interaction between strangers as much as possible. Alice came like a heaven sent and even accommodated our first meeting via zoom. She is by far the best experience ive had in this whole wedding planning process. I needed to get my wedding dress altered for my wedding coming up on June 26th. I stumbled upon Bridal Heirloom after going through yelp looking for an alteration place that would service me. I had originally found 3 cleaners/alterations places in the Valley and made appointments. All 3 were unfriendly and I felt like a number and not a person. It also felt like a factory environment which is NOT what I wanted for my wedding dress alterations.

When I found Bridal Heirloom after realizing I should check Wedding Wire, I was optimistic as Alice was very quick to respond and very friendly via email. When I met her to get a free consultation, I was so impressed with her professionalism as well as personal touches she adds to the consultation. There was beautiful wedding music playing in the background that made me feel so excited for my big day. She also made me feel very comfortable and safe during our meeting and I was so happy I found her.
After our consultation, she sat me down and gave me a detailed explanation of what alterations she would be making and the exact charges. This was also helpful, as there were no financial surprises I would be expecting. Alice's pricing was more than fair and I felt extremely comfortable to have her alter my designer dress. (Which by the way has beading, lace, and embellishments throughout the ENTIRE dress). Alice also steams the dress and puts it in a garment bag which is so helpful for me as my wedding is in Puerto Rico.

On my second fitting, I brought my detachable skirt for her to add reinforced buttons. She again gave me great pricing and will steam the skirt as well.

I cannot recommend Bridal Heirloom/Alice enough. Alice is everything I was hoping for in a professional to help me with this very important dress and day. I even asked her if she does other clothing alterations as I want to use her again in the future for other needs!
