  Professional Work and the Sweetest Person!!

  Alice did a phenomenal job altering by wedding gown! I felt like a true bride in my gown on my wedding day! Her alteration job was perfect. At the first fitting, Alice took her time explaining all of her suggestions, and what the process would look like. She even suggested to use a crochet hook for my mom to loop the buttons on the back, which ended up working out beautifully. She was very clear on her Invoice of each charge and an explanation for each alteration. Alice was extremely personable and very easy to work with! She also communicated very quickly and put me on her schedule right away. I couldn't recommend her more!

  Alice was so pleasant and professional. She talked me through every detail of the alteration making me feel comfortable leaving my wedding dress with her for alterations. Her portfolio speaks for itself, and I can't wait to see my dress when it's finished.

  Amazing! She is the best

  My experience with Alice has been amazing. Her attention to detail and customer service is superb. I had no idea what kind of dress i wanted how to explain my dream dress and she was able to interpret everything into a beautiful dress. During the pandemic i was fearful of trying on floor samples and wanted avoid interaction between strangers as much as possible. Alice came like a heaven sent and even accommodated our first meeting via zoom. She is by far the best experience ive had in this whole wedding planning process. I knew my dress was in good hands from the first day we met and i would recommend her to anyone who will listen.

  So sweet to work with!

  My dress was WAY too big and I was so disappointed after getting to pick the style I thought it was going to fit great. Well Alice made it look beautiful just as I had imagined. She was so sweet to work with and very good at her job. Thank you Alice!

  Highly Recommend!

  My daughter is getting married and I needed alterations for my mother of the bride dress. My daughter found Alice Schafer for her bridal gown and suggested i also use Alice. I met Alice and she was very helpful in suggestions to alter my dress besides the hem. Alice's price to hem and alter my dress were very reasonable. I would highly recommend Alice for alterations for an important event.

  Alice was a life savor!

  Alice is a life saver! She took the time to make my dress perfect. She did the alterations that I needed and more! Alice is dedicated to making her clients happy and she won’t stop until your dress is exactly how you want it. I also threw her a curveball by adding a white jumpsuit to be tailored and she took on the project without hesitation. My jumpsuit was too small and I didn’t know it was possible to make it fit, she made it work and it fits like a glove! Stop reading reviews, just go see her. She is a sweetheart and will make you feel like a princess.

  Best alteration service

  I needed to get my wedding dress altered for my wedding coming up on June 26th. I stumbled upon Bridal Heirloom after going through yelp looking for an alteration place that would service me. I had originally found 3 cleaners/alterations places in the Valley and made appointments. All 3 were unfriendly and I felt like a number and not a person. It also felt like a factory environment which is NOT what I wanted for my wedding dress alterations.
  
  When I found Bridal Heirloom after realizing I should check Wedding Wire, I was optimistic as Alice was very quick to respond and very friendly via email. When I met her to get a free consultation, I was so impressed with her professionalism as well as personal touches she adds to the consultation. There was beautiful wedding music playing in the background that made me feel so excited for my big day. She also made me feel very comfortable and safe during our meeting and I was so happy I found her.
  After our consultation, she sat me down and gave me a detailed explanation of what alterations she would be making and the exact charges. This was also helpful, as there were no financial surprises I would be expecting. Alice's pricing was more than fair and I felt extremely comfortable to have her alter my designer dress. (Which by the way has beading, lace, and embellishments throughout the ENTIRE dress). Alice also steams the dress and puts it in a garment bag which is so helpful for me as my wedding is in Puerto Rico.
  
  On my second fitting, I brought my detachable skirt for her to add reinforced buttons. She again gave me great pricing and will steam the skirt as well.
  
  I cannot recommend Bridal Heirloom/Alice enough. Alice is everything I was hoping for in a professional to help me with this very important dress and day. I even asked her if she does other clothing alterations as I want to use her again in the future for other needs!

  I was looking for someone with the ability to alter my wedding dress sleeves when I found Alice at Bridal Heirloom. She is very responsive, patient, and skilled at what she does. Since meeting Alice and having several dress fittings she has brought my vision to life and changed my dress into exactly what I was hoping for. She is very experienced and professional as she has worked in the bridal industry for nearly 10 years. In addition, she has reasonable prices that can fit into your budget.   Vow renewal

  I found Alice last minute with not much time to get my dress for my vow renewal. She took 2 gowns that I had that just did not do it for me and made me a beautiful gown. I am so grateful for her flexibility and determination to get a gown for me that I truly loved and on time! Highly recommend!

  Amazing experience

  Working with Alice has been an absolutely amazing experience! She has been so flexible with date changes due to covid, and planning appointments for fitting with me living out of state. She has done beautiful work with my gown. My bridesmaids will be going to her as well!

  Bit out of my way, but worth it

  Alice was a pleasure to work with. She did alterations on my wedding dress, which had a lot of beading and lace details, and a pretty heavy train. She somehow managed to figure out and adjust the dress so I could bustle the train (and demonstrated how to do it and how it should look). She also makes custom veils, which was a wonderful surprise for me because I could not find a veil I liked. What she designed was perfect. Alice is friendly, very professional and clearly communicated the 'how to', 'do and dont', and services and costs. I did have a couple button issues, but my family and I were a bit rough handling the dress, day of. Would happily recommend Alice!

  My dress is perfect!

  Alice was a pleasure to work with. She was always on time and easy to communicate with. She tailored my dress and made it fit absolutely perfect. She made sure that my dress still looked the same but was able to alter it to make sure it fit just right. She was patient with teaching us how to do the bustle and how to make the train flow just right. I would definitely recommend her.
