Joy is so wonderful to work with! My husband and I are from Pennsylvania and had a destination wedding in New Orleans so I knew I was going to need some help with our ceremony. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Joy was so helpful in the days before and during our wedding! She definitely took so much weight off of me and is just such a amazing woman to work with!

Hired Joy a week before the wedding because we were so stressed with Covid restriction for the wedding . Joy took over for us and 3 days before wedding hurricane hit NewOrleans and lost electrical power to almost entire city we had to change hotels and Joy kept everyone informed of changes and times She was phenomenal We would highly recommend her once again we thank her for getting us through all the bumps along the way and the actual wedding and reception was everything we dreamed of Thank you Joy fir everything

Joy with Bridal 911 was exceptional! I can’t sing her praises enough. Whether you are considering Bridal 911 for “day of” wedding coordination, complete planning, or something in between, you can rely on Joy. There are so many details to consider, but Joy makes everything manageable and possible. She is personable and professional and can absolutely execute your vision. \r\nI secured my vendors (caterer, cake, officiate, venue, musicians, bartenders, alcohol) and hired Bridal 911 to handle the details, coordination and “day of.” While this was a huge undertaking, Joy made it work – and affordably. Her attitude was encouraging and her advice was realistic. She kept me on track and we met regularly to discuss the logistics. She provided invaluable insight and helped guide me through the steps I needed to take. As the big day neared, Joy and I met more frequently to discuss outstanding tasks and I confidently handed everything over to her. She finalized everything with the vendors and even coordinated our rehearsal (which I had forgotten to discuss with her). \r\nWhen the big day came, we had a beautifully coordinated garden wedding and reception at a private residence. She made everything I dreamed of come to life! I still receive complements.\r\n

When I was looking for a Day of Coordinator, I was extremely disappointed to find all of the New Orleans vendors stretching into the thousands of dollars. Many of the purported "Day of" services included week and month of services, which I knew I would not need. I was looking for a little moral support and assistance with day-of logistics *only*. Many of the existing planning companies wouldn't even respond to my inquiries. I found Joy based on a Weddingbee recommendation and I am *so* glad that I did. Not only is Joy professional and incredibly competent, but she is also a pleasure to be around. She offers wonderful suggestions, notes of encouragement, and an absolutely judgment-free experience, which was really important to us. On the day of our wedding, all of our guests raved about how sweet and helpful she was, actually thinking she worked for our venue as she was visible, friendly, and helpful. Joy looked out for my husband's mother, making sure she had everything she needed since it was difficult for her to move around as she was recovering from pneumonia. She was able to troubleshoot all of the many little things that pop up, as well as the big things like an error with the iPod for our ceremony music. Everything was low drama, and I wasn't even aware of most of the complications until well after the wedding was over. She was inventive and focused, an absolutely pleasure to work with. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, I actually used her services in a number of instances where I thought they would not be necessary - in part because of her extremely reasonable rates, but also due to her incredibly calming, adaptable demeanor. I can honestly say that there are major areas of our wedding that would have been a disaster without her help and there is no way we could have done it without her. I consider her not only another wedding vendor, but also a friend, and I am blessed that she came into our lives.

Joy was great to work with. She was our Day of Coordinator and offered to help with any planning needed beforehand. I did not ask for a lot of extra help but, she did provide advice about layout, met with me at the venue to discuss details beforehand and checked in with vendors right before the big day to make sure they were on track. She also kept our wedding day right on schedule. Some of the decor details did not turn out exactly as planned but, our guests were happy and everyone thought it was beautiful regardless.

We hired Joy 2 weeks before our wedding because we were stressed about planning a wedding from Seattle, Wa and asked Joy to help us with tasks that we hadn't thought about or needed help with, like be a second pair of eyes on everything. We had a wedding coordinator through the hotel we were getting married at, but she only did so many things, which is why we needed Joy! She was great in helping us make sure that the event went smoothly, that the DJ and other vendors stuck to the timeline day of. We had some miscommunication, which resulted in a few mishaps during and after the wedding, but overall everything went well and she worked really hard to keep our timeline on track and thought of many things I wouldn't have to make sure our wedding was perfect.
