Napoleon House offers a prime, historic French Quarter setting, Chef Chris Montero’s acclaimed classic New Orleans cuisine, caring service and heartfelt hospitality. Our ambition is to deliver a very special, one-of-a-kind event that will charm your guests and reflect your palate, theme and budget.
Constructed in the late 1700’s; owned and operated by the Impastato family of New Orleans for 101 years and Ralph Brennan since May of 2015, the Napoleon House (named for the exiled French Emperor who was offered the opportunity to take up residence) suspends you in time. It’s authentic exterior, deeply patinated walls, heart of pine floors, sunken cypress doors, and luminous photography exudes the European charm that begets civilized eating and drinking.
The upstairs private rooms boast glittering custom chandeliers, antiqued cypress wood mantles, heirloom silk tapestry drapes and balcony access with breathtaking views of the French Quarter.
Known internationally for our fabled Pimm’s Cup, a gin-based aperitif mixed with fresh lemonade, 7 Up and a sliver of cucumber, and our quintessential Muffuletta sandwich, the Napoleon House is the ideal destination for those with a bold palate and a penchant for the intersection of history and hospitality.
We can accommodate a wedding reception or rehearsal dinner in the many spaces in the Napoleon House, this space can hold up to 250 reception style. The Rosa and Pietro Rooms on the second floor also have two fabulous balconies. Please note that these rooms unfortunately do not accommodate handicap accessibility.
Our breathtaking courtyard is used for smaller ceremonies!

Fantastic experience, beautiful setting, extraordinary food
We had an incredible experience with the Napoleon House - from start to finish. All the event staff are friendly, helpful, and organized. It's super easy to work with them to make a beautiful event. The setting is beautiful and was part of the decor. They have votives and tablecloths and great chairs, plus three fireplaces that you can decorate with flowers. The food, though, was the star of the night, especially anything with shrimp and the alligator sausage.Sent on 07/29/2019

Perfect Small Wedding & Dinner
Gorgeous, historic venue. Ideal location and floor plan for a small wedding ceremony and reception/dinner. Excellent food and service. These folks really went out of their way to make our evening perfect. Even with an impending hurricane, all staff showed up, didn't rush us, and was as pleasant as could be.Sent on 07/30/2019

Can't Recommend Enough
We hosted our wedding at Napoleon House June 1, 2019, and it was perfect! Working with Beth was a dream- she made everything so easy and was fast to respond to any questions we had throughout our whole year of planning. The space is gorgeous and the food was fantastic--our guests are still raving about the food and drinks! Aside from being a great venue, Napoleon House was also priced more reasonably than any other venue we considered. I highly recommend hosting your wedding here!Sent on 06/17/2019
