We booked Capulet for our destination wedding reception & it was the perfect venue. Our ceremony was held at Marigny, so Capulet was the perfect distance for a second line. Everything was beautiful. Steve & his staff were so great to work with, from start to finish — always responsive, friendly, professional, and accommodating. They made sure that everything we asked for was executed flawlessly. Most of what made our experience so great was the attention to detail, the simple gestures— for example, our his & her signature drinks being handed to us as soon as we entered the venue after the second line. During planning, I asked Steve if it was possible to do an espresso martini tower & he made it happen for us. We had a cigar bar set up, so the rooftop was a nice touch (especially for guests who wanted a quieter vibe). We’re forever grateful to Capulet for making our day so special.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here in September and had such an amazing experience. 20/10, 10 stars! The entire Capulet team made this whole process so easy and not intimidating at all. Steve and his team are all stars- special thanks to Steve, Teal, Lauren, and Stefanie. They walk you through everything every step of the way and the platform they use makes it easy for everyone to reference your venue plan. They immediately sent me all information from the initial inquiry including pricing so I didn’t have to schedule a call or meeting. Wedding planning is already stressful and having that open communication from the get-go was so refreshing! So reasonably priced compared to anywhere else in the city and the venue space itself is absolutely gorgeous. They were so patient with all of my stress related wedding questions and were so on top of all communication. We catered through Capulet and Chef Matt knocked it out of the park! They work with your budget and preferences and treated us like royalty during our tasting. (And they have a great food/drink menu during the week when they aren’t doing events!) Everyone raved about the space, food/drinks, and staff! We had a lot of guests driving in from out of town and it was great to be able to rent the parking lot across the street, especially when your guests are not used to street parking. Do yourself a favor and rent the disco ball because it added that extra fun ambience! We did a lot of DIY decorations and they worked with us to make sure we had enough time/help/space to set up while they were getting the space ready.
The only barrier we had was that the rooftop is only accessible by stairs. We were worried about some of our mobility impaired guests making it up there for the ceremony. They worked with us to adapt our ceremony plan for the dining room so that it was accessible for everyone and we are so truly grateful for the entire experience. Any small issues that popped up were immediately taken care of and we have no negative things to say. It was such an incredible night that we wish we could do it all again! Our wedding was perfect! Steve was so helpful and made our day as smooth as possible. The chef was outstanding. We received so many compliments on the food! The venue was a great size for our 160 guests. The venue has so much charm that it doesn't need a ton of decor. We had the ceremony on the rooftop, did a second line around the block, then had the reception in the main hall. The prices were the most reasonable in the city, and for what we got, I'd say it was a heck of a deal. The only small blip I would say we encountered was the load-in time for our Friday wedding, it was 3 PM which was a little hard but my team made it work! I have been recommending this venue to all of my friends.

Capulet was a dream to work with throughout the process of planning our wedding. They clearly communicated with my partner and I at key milestones, organized a few special events (like a dinner + wine tasting for our parents), and were a joy to work with. I particularly appreciated how they have beautiful indoor and outdoor options (important in New Orleans weather!) that require minimal decoration to look great. Also, since they're a restaurant during the week, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Easy five stars!

We looked at several wedding venues before stumbling upon Capulet. Capulet stood out more than any of the others. Not just because of how beautiful yet rustic it was but the price was actually affordable. So many of my wedding guests praised Capulet because of how amazing it was, not only the food but the atmosphere itself. Capulet’s staff was always eager to answer my questions and help with even the smallest details. The chef and bar tenders were so friendly. My kids felt so special because the bar tenders made them a kids Cosmo and shaken chocolate milk. We hosted a 100 people (and could have fit way more people) and had plenty of room for a big dance floor and our 9 piece band. Capulet offered so much that we only needed 4 additional vendors, flowers/decor, Photo Booth, cake, and our photographer. We didn’t have to rent any furniture because it all came with Capulet. I especially loved all the fun couch’s we had on the sides and upstairs. It made for a more comfortable evening for my guests that wanted to sit instead of dance. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. We highly recommend Capulet!
