Very few professional photographers in Kansas City offer digital images. Some require a minimum print purchase in order to purchase digital images. Or they require you to wait a year to purchase your digital files.

Many do not offer digital files at all.

Breath Taking Moments Photography offers digital images to our clients for very important, well-considered reasons:

1. We know you want them! We realize that families want access to digital files for web use, emailing, screensavers, iPhoto slideshows, etc.

2. There are very good local sources of high-quality digital printing. You can upload your images to Costco's photo center online and order prints for pennies. Costco's print labs use the same Fuji pro printers as the major national finishing labs and their machines are calibrated daily to their national color standards. A word of caution: Other local printers (usually drug store and big-box store photo centers) allow the worker-of-the-day to calibrate the colors and tweak settings as he/she sees fit, and you can end up horribly inconsistent print quality. Costco's national policies do not allow this, which is why we so highly recommend Costco's printing services.

3. Great images create great prints, not the other way around. Breath Taking Moments Photography studio uses professional grade cameras and lenses, combined with technical knowledge and finely tuned eye for detail, to create high quality images which cannot be reproduced with consumer-level amateur equipment. Such images will result in high-quality prints when taken to a good printer, so you can get stunning professional prints with the images from your DVD.
