The Boston Harbor Hotel offers versatile spaces brimming with a sense of sophistication that are suitable for small and grand soirees alike. With a capacity of 450, this spacious hall features floor-to-ceiling windows to take full advantage of the exquisite views. Weddings may occur in the Pavilion as well, which can host gatherings of up to 150 attendees with a tent. This domed building showcases panoramic sights of the harbor and hotel and is also suitable as the setting for 100-guest ceremonies. Additional salons on the Mezzanine level are available for smaller events, such as rehearsal dinners.

The BEST venue.

Our wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel was an absolute dream! From our very first meeting, Amanda made us feel incredibly welcomed, understood, and cared for. She took the time to listen to our vision and went above and beyond to make it a reality. Her expertise and warmth made the entire planning process enjoyable and stress-free. The day of the wedding, the staff was outstanding—attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Every detail was executed flawlessly, from the stunning venue setup to the exceptional food, which all of our guests are still raving about. The Boston Harbor Hotel team created a magical experience that we will cherish forever. If you're looking for a wedding venue with impeccable service, delicious cuisine, and a dedicated team, this is the place to be!

5 star venue!

We had our wedding ceremony in Foster’s Pavilion at the Boston Harbor Hotel. It was a beautiful spot for a wedding ceremony and they worked with us to accommodate our large guest count. Amanda from the events team did an incredible job at making sure the day of the wedding ran smoothly!! Would definitely recommend having an event at BHH

Wedding at Boston Harbor Hotel

We had our wedding at BHH, and we could not recommend it enough. The location, food, and staff were all world-class, but we’d like to call special attention to Ted Daniels, who was the wedding coordinator at the hotel.

Ted was the consummate professional, and it was clear from our first contact. When we first reached out to him to ask for prices, he replied with a clear, concise, and fair contract within hours. After spending weeks wading through contract issues with our original location, working with BHH and Ted was a breath of fresh air.

Things only got better as our experience continued. One thing we really valued about working with Ted was his ability to listen to our preferences, clearly explain what BHH could (and could not) do, and make thoughtful suggestions based on his decades of experience in the industry. It was our first time planning a wedding, and Ted helped us understand the pros and cons of our options. His clear communication and *serious* attention to detail were a huge — planning is much less stressful when you know you have someone you can rely on.

One unexpected positive experience: BHH can also help you select vendors who have a relationship with the hotel. We didn’t think this would really matter, but several of our vendors that we met through BHH made a point that they wanted to do an especially good job because they valued their relationship with Ted.

Finally, the day-of experience was perfect. Ted worked closely with our vendors and ensured everything ran seamlessly while we enjoyed time with our friends and family. The food was absolutely delicious, the Wharf Room was stunning, and our friends and family had a great time.

TL;DR: You cannot make a better pick than working with the Boston Harbor Hotel and Ted Daniels.

Boston Harbor Hotel is the perfect venue for a Boston wedding!

The Boston Harbor Hotel made my wedding day dream come true! Picking a venue is probably the most difficult decision when it comes to planning a wedding. If you are considering the Boston Harbor Hotel, do not look elsewhere. Ted Daniels, is amazing! He is super responsive, considerate, and he executed our wedding day in the most perfect way I could have imagined! From the tasting, to the menu options, and picking out the chairs and linens – Ted will be there to guide you through the process. Ted understands every intricate detail and will make your wedding day dream come true. I had mentioned to Ted I really loved swiss dot and that was arranged for on my cake! He understands how stressful weddings can be to plan and does his best to arrange and accommodate for anything. If you choose to have your wedding day at the Boston Harbor Hotel it will be the best decision of your life and you will not regret it. I am so lucky to call the Boston Harbor Hotel my wedding venue!

Wedding of Our Dreams

We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to Ted Daniels and the wonderful team at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Our original wedding had to be rescheduled three times due to COVID-19, and throughout this process, Ted handled our wedding with absolute professionalism. We reconfigured our wedding to a smaller size of 45 people, and we moved it to the Meritage, but it was still an amazing evening that we will not forget. Thank you!

Just perfection.

When we decided to downsize our initially larger, traditional wedding to a 10 guest affair (thanks to covid-19) it was important to us that we maintain a unique, classic, and a once in a lifetime atmosphere. And we could not imagine a better experience than the one we had at the the presidential suite at the Boston Harbor Hotel! Every aspect of our experience, from the planning process through the entire event, was absolutely perfect. The catering manager, Ted, made booking and planning a breeze. He helped guide decisions from food to room arrangements, which took all the stress out of the wedding planning process and allowed us to just sit back and enjoy (something we very much appreciated after such a stressful un-planning process of the first, larger wedding). Once we checked in, the staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and anticipated/created details that we hadn't even imagined! They went above and beyond - even helping to decorate the space without us asking (creating an adorable bar set up with a sign that my cousin had gifted and placing additional flowers that had been leftover from the cake in display bowls around the room)! The chef and housekeeping managers regularly checked in with us throughout our stay. The food was delicious and we had multiple guests comment that it was some of the best food they have ever had (the truffle tater tots were SUCH a hit!) Between the stunning backdrop of the suite itself, the harbor views, the service that I wish I could rate more than 5 stars, and the quality of the food, we could not give a strong enough recommendation for the Boston Harbor Hotel. We only wish we could have stayed a few more nights!!

P.S. The technology set up made streaming our event so easy. We simply set up a laptop the face the aisle that was DIYed by our friends and the wifi was never an issue (and we were out on the balcony!). We also recorded the event on an ipad staged on a tripod. The bluetooth speakers throughout the suite made it easy to stream music before the ceremony and for the party after!

P.P.S. the master suite's bathroom and dressing area deserves it's own 5 star review!

A Magnificent Venue - an exceptional events team

Mr. Ted Daniels was an exceptional Catering Manager.

We owe the success of our event on September 28th at The Boston Harbor Hotel – the wedding of our son and son-in-law – largely to his creativity, knowledge, and ability to plan and execute a formal, complex event.

I’ve had the opportunity to work over the last 20+ years with many wonderful and experienced Catering Directors - for both personal and corporate events. Ted is by far the best and most capable that I have worked with.

Our wedding team – I (as the mother of one of the Grooms and the Event Planner/Manager), my son's in laws, the various outside vendors (florist, photographer, band, lighting expert, invitation company etc) greatly benefited by his ability to create, plan and execute. There was no requirement or desired outcome that could not be met.

My son and son-in-law's wedding was a dream come true. There were absolutely no issues. Many of our guests have contacted me to convey that the wedding was beautiful, wonderful and perfectly carried out. They all remarked that The Boston Harbor Hotel is a gorgeous venue.

Micro-Wedding Success!

My husband and I hosted our "micro-wedding" at the BHH. Their service was exceptional. Ted was accommodating and responsive from our very first meeting. Andrea did an outstanding job coordinating room reservations for our guests.

On the day of the wedding, you would have thought we were the only people staying at the hotel. If we needed something, it was immediately delivered to our hotel rooms. Ted coordinated with all of our vendors, so they knew where to go, when to arrive, etc. We rented a trolley and the concierge staff made sure all of our snacks and beverages made it on and off the trolley.

The food was incredible. The menu was totally customizable and putting a menu together during a pandemic is not the easiest task. Ted was there to help give us ideas. We ended up with plated appetizers, a choice of soup and salad, a choice of entrees, ice cream sandwich sliders for dessert along with red velvet cake (I am a total sweets person and the cake was absolutely delicious).

The ceremony and reception were both conducted at the hotel. The view is breathtaking, no matter what room you are in at the hotel. The staff truly helped everything flow perfectly. There was no down time and our guests are still raving about how much fun they had.

Dreams Do Come True

Can't say enough about my daughters wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Ted Daniels and his team made it a night we will never forget.Every request we made was delivered. The food was absolutely delicious everything was hot and served exactly as specified. Ted's recommendations turned out to be the highlights of the night. The New England station during the cocktail reception and the ice cream station for dessert were huge hits that our guests are still talking about. Service was outstanding led by the room captain Daniel, it was the best I have ever experienced anywhere.
We heard over and over again how the service was impeccable . The entire team catered to our guests every wish and request. Georgia who handled our room block was outstanding and went over and above to make our guests happy. The team at valet as well as concierge and housekeeping were all fantastic. We felt like VIPS for the entire weekend . We wish we could do it all again!!! It was a night we will never forget.

I could not have dreamed of a better venue.

It’s impossible to capture in a single review just how outstanding our wedding experience was at Boston Harbor Hotel. Michael Boivin and his catering team exceeded expectations over and over and over again, and I could not be more grateful for their hard work, efficiency, and talent. They made us feel like our wedding day was the most important event of the year and that energy translated into one giant, happy celebration!

Following our church ceremony, we had cocktail hour along the Harborwalk, a reception in the Wharf Room until midnight, and ended with Karaoke after party in the Foster’s room. The venue location speaks for itself – the views of the harbor are breathtaking – but it is the service and delicious food that really make this venue “beyond compare.” Countless guests have told me that it was the most delicious wedding food that they ever had (people were losing it over the fried scallops at cocktail hour) and everyone’s drinks remained full throughout the night. The staff met all of the needs of our 209 guests, including those that had very specific dietary restrictions or allergies. They also worked with us to make special requests possible – like two flavored wedding cake and cava instead of champagne.

Michael Boivin is a host in himself. We did not have a wedding planner, which made him the most critical contact of our entire planning process. This was the first wedding for both our families, so we appreciated his expertise and honest opinion throughout. He recommended countless vendors that had successfully worked at BHH before, responded to email instantly, and kept everything running on schedule on the big day. From our initial walkthrough to the tasting to the wedding day, he made sure all our questions were answered and our needs were met. An absolute delight to work with.

Thank you to Michael and the entire BHH team for the perfect wedding!! I could not have dreamed it better.
