The Boone Hall Plantation is a wedding venue in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. The entrance to the estate features rows of live oaks draped in Spanish moss, which have developed over two centuries to form a natural archway. The venue contains a number of indoor and outdoor event sites for couples to host their celebrations.

Facilities and Capacity

The Boone Hall, which is also a working farm, features enough space to host your wedding with up to 300 guests. The main event area is characterized by an open floor plan, large windows, exposed beams, and a large fireplace. You and your partner can decorate the space to represent your individual style, taking advantage of the abundance of natural light that fills the room. The site can accommodate around 200 guests in a seated reception. Alternatively, couples can exchange vows on the front lawn against the backdrop of the mansion, or the back lawn surrounded by tidal marshes. For those with a smaller gathering in mind for their nuptials, there is also an outdoor patio.

Services Offered

The team at the venue can provide a range of services to help make the celebrations a success. Additionally, the staff sets up Iron Torches to lead guests from the car park to the couple’s chosen event site. Outside caterers and bar services are allowed, and the venue can supply a list of preferred businesses to help with the decision-making process. Couples are granted the use of the grounds for photography on the day of the event aside from the interior of the main residence. Additional photo sessions can be arranged prior to the big day for engagement shoots and more.
