My daughter got married here on October 17, 2025! The wedding was absolutely perfect! They were married on the front lawn and it was absolutely gorgeous! The reception was at the cotton dock! The view on the water at sunset was breathtaking, we used a lot of greenery iwhite flowers, and candles. So many guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to! Natalie Knox, from Boone Hall, was our full service planner and she was a dream to work with! She has impeccable taste and such a loving, cheerful, wonderful personality. She literally becomes your friend and makes the day so perfect! We had not a single complaint about anything at the wedding and it could not have been more perfect and beautiful! I highly recommend Boone Hall as a venue and Natalie as a full service wedding planner, she is worth every penny and makes the wedding zero stress for everyone involved!

Daughter's Wedding Fabulous at Boone Hall!
Boone Hall was an absolutely beautiful and magical place for our daughter's wedding! The ceremony was held under those amazing Oaks, and with the sun streaming through the ancient branches the setting could not have been more special. Afterward at the Reception, the Cotton Dock provided incredible views of the water and a warm setting for all our guests to enjoy time together, good food, and lots of dancing! Natalie and Sarah Kate in the Boone Hall event office are a delight to work with in every possible way. They are responsive, professional and fun. They always remained calm and helpful which made the wedding planning experience a joy. We are sad it is over as we will miss them! We highly recommend Boone Hall as a wedding venue! We would not change one thing!! It is beautiful, magical and incredible!!!

The dreamiest place to say "I Do!"
It has always been my dream to get married at Boone Hall. As soon as my soulmate asked me to marry him, we reached out a couple days later and locked in our date! We had the most perfect 75 degree day in the beginning of May, jasmine and magnolias in peak bloom in the lowcountry...the perfect coastal breeze swept across our ceremony under the low lying limbs of the famous avenue of oaks, and our reception at the Cotton Dock completed our vision of nostalgic romance meets botanic "notebook" moment. We worked with Peper Events of Natalie Knox went out of her way to make herself available and the most helpful for any and all questions or concerns I had in planing a destination wedding. We will always be in disbelief of our literal dream day, with Allie's house and the breathtaking oaks as our backdrop to our wedding day (cue the tears, again!)

I can't recommend Boone Hall and Natalie enough! My husband and I had our wedding in October of 2022 and hired Natalie as our wedding planner. Natalie took care of every single detail and our day was absolutely perfect! A hurricane hit the weekend before and Natalie was able to make the necessary changes seamless. The venue was incredible and we never had to stress about a single thing. I would HIGHLY suggest booking Boone Hall Plantation for your wedding and hiring Natalie Rosenzweig for all of your wedding needs!

Incredible venue
Boone Hall is nothing but a DREAM! we prayed for the day for forever and when it came I was speechless of the pure beauty this Venue has to offer. We rented the cotton dock and had our ceremony on the front lawn. When I walked down the aisle at sunset and saw those trees I literally said this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
It was a DREAM!!

Absolutely Outstanding
Boone Hall Plantation was without a doubt, the best wedding venue we could have ever asked for. My family hired Natalie Knox, Wedding Coordinator for Boone Hall as our own wedding planner. Not only is she an amazing and kind person, but our dream wedding would not have been possible without her. She was extremely communicative and always made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. She handled all communication with the vendors and really took hold of my dream wedding and produced something even more amazing.
Boone Hall itself was a beautiful location and all our guests mouths dropped when arriving. Each area of our wedding was decorated to the nines and from the beginning to the end, it was one of the best days of our lives.
The venue itself is known as a "clean slate" venue, meaning everything needs to be brought in by a separate vendor. This includes table settings, chairs, lighting, etc. This was one of the main reasons why we hired Natalie Knox as she took care of every single detail. All we had to provide was the theme and color schemes we wanted. The day of the wedding, Natalie oversaw every thing and we enjoyed the night completely stress free.
We would highly recommend Boone Hall as a wedding venue. It was a dream come true, a fairytale brought to life.

The entire process with Boone Hall was seamless. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Many of our guests have told us it was one of the most beautiful weddings they’d ever been to. Most Beautiful Plantation
My husband, William, and I got married at Boone Hall Plantation in July! And it was a dream, our summer beneath the trees. I’ve always loved all things Southern while being a romantic and my favorite movie is the Notebook, so naturally it was the venue we wanted. It was a must our two pups be apart of our whole wedding weekend and the Plantation being dog friendly sealed the deal! Between our ceremony under Avenue of Oaks and our reception at the Cotton Dock - it was everything and more. And the Plantation is simply breathtaking! It was timeless and classic, there is so much beauty. We will always cherish the sweetest moments from our most special day at Boone Hall Plantation.

Everything I dreamed of
Natalie was absolutely wonderful to work with! She went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. When we had troubles with our wedding planning company (ohh events) and floral (out of the garden) was being difficult, Natalie was extremely responsive and helpful. I would recommend using Natalie being your event coordinator as well because she really is detailed oriented, creative and simply a pleasure in every way!

The venue is breathtaking. We were pleased that, during the pandemic, temperatures were taken at the gate and masks were provided for all of our guests. There truly are not enough words for me to describe how wonderful Natalie is. This gal worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail of our wedding day was perfect. She handled all communication with our vendors, kept us on budget, and made sure we stayed on time with payments and our checklists of what needed to be done before the big day. She executed the day FLAWLESSLY, along with her team of amazing professionals. She was there to help in every decision during planning, advising us, and being there for support. She has the most positive attitude and brings joy to every room she walks in. Not to mention her eye for design and detail is UNMATCHED. Her taste is incredible which makes trusting her even easier! Gorgeous Venue
We live in Charleston and knew we wanted to get married here and are so happy that we did. The setting is breathtaking and serves as a fantastic backdrop. Every turn is beautiful with live oaks and marsh. Our guests were able to take advantage of touring the grounds while they were there and really got to appreciate the history. They could not say enough great things about the venue. We will never regret having our wedding here.
Recommend getting a wedding planner to assist with planning if having your wedding here as it is a blank canvas. You’ll need to pick out and rent all furniture which can be overwhelming but nice that it’s uniquely yours.

Boonehall plantation really speaks for itself - it’s beyond beautiful but what really made my experience next level was hiring Natalie Knox as our wedding planner. She was so good that in the end I missed being in constant contact! She knew my wedding dreams before I did which was so amazing. She was able to take my personality and unorganized vision and turn it into a true dream. She is the best in the business and you can tell by how well she interacts with all of the vendors she is respected and good friends with all. She even helped me add personal touches like a cigar bar and live oyster shuckers at the cocktail hour. I couldn’t have imagined doing this with anyone besides her!

Magical Place to Create Your Special Day
Romantic setting like no other! The property, with multiple venues, allows the bride to create her own atmosphere she has likely dreamed of for years....the staff is engaged in preparation as well as the day of when unexpected things can arise...I highly recommend the "full service planner" as they know the property, staff and vendors well -- they have seen it all! On my daughter's wedding day the rains were bountiful at ceremony time, and the entire BH staff was hand's on deck under the leadership of Natalie Knox to rearrange and ensure it was seamless and beautiful....the bride not I, MOB, stressed or worried as we knew we were in great hands! The wedding was more magical than expected and the Cotton Dock rocked a huge party for many family and guests! A beautiful wedding!
The Cotton Dock at Boone Hall is a beautiful place to have a wedding. It is rustic but elegant and the view is amazing. The pictures taken under the oaks were gorgeous. Natalie Knox, the wedding planner, is very professional and made planning the wedding smooth and easy. We would highly recommend this venue.

Magical wedding
Boone Hall is a venue out of a fairy tale and my husband and I are so blessed that we were able to have our wedding in such a beautiful place. We did our ceremony on the front lawn and reception at the cotton dock (with the dance floor on the deck) and you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful setting. Natalie Knox was our planner and I can’t say enough good things about her! I work crazy hours and was planning the wedding from 1000+ miles away; she was beyond flexible and accommodating and I never worried for a second that she was handling all the details I couldn’t from afar. From the moment we selected Boone Hall, she helped us to identify a short list of fantastic vendors (so helpful when there are tons of options in the Charleston area). She has great relationships with other wedding professionals who were able to create the wedding of our dreams. She’s also the most positive, kind and responsive person who dealt with every last minute emergency with a smile. Do not hesitate for a second- Boone Hall is spectacular and Natalie is the best of the best!

We had Boone Hall Plantation picked out as our venue from the moment we got engaged! We made sure to book our date ASAP as we understood it was highly sought after. And after experiencing our wedding day, we understood more than ever how perfect this venue is along with Natalie Knox and her team.
To this day, our guests are still going on and on about how amazing our wedding was. Natalie was a dream to work with- friendly, organized, and knowledgeable. All that made our day stress-free, fun, and a real life fairy tale!

You really cannot find a more stunning, customizable venue than Boone Hall. Our October ceremony was on the Avenue of Oaks which was such a serene, picture perfect ceremony location. Our cocktail hour and reception were on the Cotton Dock which provided a beautiful clean slate for us to design our day exactly how we wanted. In addition to being a stunning venue, the ability to really put our personal stamp on things created the exact vibe we were going for with our guests and that led to our wedding day being even better than we could have dreamed.
What's more, Boone Hall's event manager Natalie Knox is a world class professional and absolute joy to work with in making your day perfection. From start to finish, Natalie made wedding planning fun, organized, stress-free, and truly focused on the things that matter most to the couple. She was an invaluable partner to us and provided sage advice, guidance, and expert styling that made everything truly come together. Natalie knows all the right people in the industry to make your vision a reality. I gave broad notes about my style and preferences and what she created was so spot on it is like she read my mind. She will never waste your time with fluff or false hope. Natalie is the real deal and I absolutely loved working with her to plan our weekend.
In summary, we have some tough critics in our group who have hosted their own weddings in beautiful locations around the world and they are still raving about how our wedding was absolute perfection in the most stunning venue they've ever seen. When my daughter and son-in-law decided to be married in Charleston, we began our search for the perfect location. We toured several Plantations, but knew once we found Boone Hall and met Natalie, that it was a match made in heaven. The venue was absolutely stunning, all of our guests left saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The backdrop of Ave of the Oaks and The Cotton dock were truly perfect. Natalie kept everything moving smoothly, and kept us on track the whole way through planning. We will really miss working with her!!! And have the best memories / photos a couple could ask for.

My wedding reception at the Boone Hall Cotton Dock was nothing short of a fairy tale and far exceeded anything I could have ever dreamed! Natalie Knox was spectacular through the planning process and put my mind at ease. She captured my taste and made my vision more than reality. She managed to come in under my budget and impresssed not only me, but my Father which is hard to do! I had a large wedding and she guided me through how to best use the space with my guest count and the layout worked very well. She recommended I use particular rentals to diminish long lines at bars and stations and everything she said worked phenomenally and our guests didn’t have to wait long for food or drinks. The decor was beautiful and transformed a rustic barn into a place of elegance and southern charm! You will not be disappointed with Natalie Knox, I couldn’t have planned my wedding without her!! ☺️

Beautiful & serene setting for my daughter's wedding! We used the small lawn in front of the iron gates for the ceremony & the Cotton Dock for the reception. It is a breathtaking venue! The sun was setting over the river on the Cotton Dock & was just magnificent! Weather was grand. Boone Hall Plantation is the most beautiful venue in all of Charleston! It is worth every penny! You will not be disappointed!

Boone Hall was a fairytale setting for our wedding. All the guests agreed this was the best location they have ever been to for a wedding. They were always quick to respond and Natalie was an absolute dream to work with. On a scale from 1-10, this team is a 20! We hired Natalie as our wedding coordinator and she was a rock star. Boone Hall Plantation was the most amazing and beautiful venue for our big day! We had our ceremony facing the gates looking out on the avenue of oaks and our reception at the Cotton Dock. Everything single detail was absolutely beautiful and all of our guests had the most amazing time. Natalie and her entire team were fantastic! Natalie Knox is incredible. From the moment we stepped on the property for the first time, we were welcomed with her warm presence and smile. We were deciding between a few different venues, but were sold by the beauty of Boone Hall that overwhelms you as soon as you enter the property. We also loved the flexibility that came with Boone Hall. Boone Hall allows you to decide your budget whereas many other venues have minimums. Natalie and the team at Boone Hall were incredibly flexible and accommodating from the beginning. We decided to use Natalie's planning services and couldn't be happier with our decision. She guided us on what vendors to select and was always so on top of everything. We actually had to postpone our wedding because of Hurricane Matthew, and Natalie was so kind and helpful throughout the process. The wedding day far exceeded all of my expectations and the planning process was incredibly smooth - Natalie truly made all the difference. We couldn't be happier with having chosen Boone Hall.

Natalie Knox went above and beyond to take care of every detail. I never worried about any details even with the wedding being outside in November. I knew she would take care of it all. Being in Atlanta, I knew I couldn't preview all the items we needed to rent and the musicians for the ceremony so we trusted Natalie to pull it all together and she did. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have our wedding at Boone Hall. We had our ceremony on the Side Lawn under the oak trees and our reception at the Cotton Dock. Everything was absolutely beautiful and all of our guests are still talking about what a gorgeous venue it was. Also, service/staff were fantastic. We already had a wedding planner but when we needed anything Natalie from Boone Hall was a prompt with responses and extremely helpful. Book this venue, you will not regret it!

I recently got married (September) at Boone Hall Plantation. What an incredible venue. We held the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception all at the Cotton Dock. What an absolutely stunning venue! You do not need to read reviews to see why this location is a total dream. The staff is incredibly easy to work with, namely Natalie. She was very prompt with responses to any questions I had, and she was always very helpful. One of the most fun parts about this venue is that you can truly make it your own. When you rent the Cotton Dock, you're just renting the venue, itself. You will need to use outside vendors to rent tables, chairs, linens, catering, etc. While this may seem daunting at first, it's truly amazing to know that your wedding is unlike any other wedding, because it's a beautiful, rustic blank canvas. After 5pm, the plantation closes to the public, and they light torches along the Avenue of the Oaks. It's truly just a dream location and I highly recommend this to any bride-to-be. The only downfall is that because it is such an amazing, incredible venue, you will likely have to book far in advance (if you plan to have a Friday, Saturday or Sunday wedding).

I would definitely recommend Boone Hall for your wedding. I am a wedding planner in North Carolina and have worked with numerous venues and this one was one of the best I have ever used. They were upfront with all of the costs associated with the ceremony and venue and did not pressure us to do anything that we didn't want to do; they just offered and we could choose. Natalie Knox is the best wedding planner ever. She helped us on the day of event which began 1 month prior to the event. She let us do what we wanted and she took over from there. The beauty of having her at the venue is that she works with the vendors all of the time and she knows how they all work, so no stone was left unturned. Yes! Yes! Yes! Boone Hall, the Cotton Dock and Natalie Knox - what a team! I couldn't have asked for better.

My advice to prospective brides would be to save time, go on and choose Boone Hall. It was the best decision for my daughter! The location is of course beautiful, but it was the service and care and concern that we received that puts Boone Hall over the top. We had planned a front lawn wedding and Cotton Dock reception. As Mother Nature has her own ideas a terrible storm blew in. Without hesitation Henry, Natalie and Laura sprang into action, putting out adorable benches for a cotton dock service! Then, OH NO! The electricity went out, but no problem for this group, they were setting up generators and getting all the lights and the AC on in a flash! The wedding was absolutely beautiful! The Boone Hall staff was sensitive to the needs of the bride and groom, knowing they were disappointed they didn’t get some of the pictures they wanted, Henry insisted the bride and groom come back the next morning for those pictures they didn’t get to take. How thoughtful! I cannot thank Natalie Knox, Henry Way and Laura Bowers enough. You were wedding savers. Thank you for a perfect storybook wedding in a perfect venue!

I had the best experience Boone Hall Plantation I could not have asked for a better wedding and venue. Natalie Knox with Boone Hall was my wedding coordinator and she did a fantastic job! She was always available to answer any questions I had and of course I had alot. She was so easy to work with and was such a sweetheart. The day of the wedding it had been on and off raining the entire day so we had set up a tent on the back lawn by the leaning oak just in case. We were able to make the call on the ceremony location at the very last minute and I was able to have the ceremony on the front lawn by the gates as originally planned!!

Boone Hall Plantation is absolutely one of the most gorgeous wedding venues around! We received so many compliments after our wedding about how beautiful it was! We had our ceremony on the front lawn, and the reception was on the cotton dock. Many of our guests had never been to Boone Hall Plantation before, and they now no why we fell in love with this place. It is breathtaking!
Natalie was our lifesaver! She helped plan our wedding, and she did an amazing job! We did not have to worry about a thing! She was so flexible with setting up appointments to meet with us, she is SO knowledgable about wedding planning, and she is just the sweetest person I've ever met! She was wonderful on the day of our wedding.. She arrived at the plantation early and set everything up. She spoke with all of the other vendors before hand to make sure everyone was on the same page. This was a huge relief. We did not have one flaw or hiccup on our wedding day. Having her coordinate our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! She helped make our big day an unforgettable experience. We could not have asked for anything more. She was simply wonderful!

Boone Hall was the perfect location for our wedding reception. We used the Cotton Dock for our cocktail hour and reception, and had the plantation house open for tours before that to give guests something to do in the time between the ceremony (which was downtown from 3-4:15) and the reception which started at 6. The day of our wedding was absolutely magical. Boone Hall/the Cotton Dock were both so beautiful, and guests were so complimentary and said it was one of the best weddings they had attended. Weather was perfect for late October, and we had the fireplace going later in the evening which was a really nice touch. Natalie Knox at Boone Hall was so wonderful to work with. She was always very responsive and very helpful with anything we needed. Overall, the day was perfect and Boone Hall staff went above and beyond to make our day so special. It was well worth every penny and Boone Hall will always hold a special place in our heart.

Where to begin...My wedding was 10/3/15 which is the date of the 1 in 1000 year flooding. If I had to go back and redo it all over again I would not remove the rain. We hired Natalie Knox as our full service planner at BHP and doing so was one of the best decisions I ever made. From my first tour of the plantation, through the 18 month planning process, to the second my reception ended, Natalie had everything under control and made it look easy...even with the flooding. I truly feel Natalie, other BHP staff and even the owners of the plantation themselves went above and beyond to be sure my wedding day was still everything I ever dreamt it to be and more. I truly hope every bride can have an experience from beginning to end as amazing as mine was. I wish I could throw another huge party at Boone Hall just to work with everyone again. Don't worry about bringing in another planner for your big day, Natalie knows best and you won't regret hiring her.

Boone Hall is the most picturesque venue for an outdoor southern wedding! We used both the front lawn (the gates as our "alter") and then the cotton dock for the reception. Most of our guests were from out of town and a good amount from up north. The beautiful oaks and history of the location really wowed our guests and they understood why we fell in love in such a beautiful city/love the south. Look no further than this venue!!
Natalie at Boone hall was so accommodating and called me week before the wedding to explain a noise ordinance law (cutting our timeline short) that JUST passed in the area. She was so apologetic and willing to help us work around it however she could- I am pretty laid back and since it was a Sunday wedding anyways cutting our time by 30 minutes was no problem for us. Oh and if you decide to move forward with Boone Hall, don't skimp on the golf carts! We used 1 to transport my husband and I to various picturesque locations for photos and the other to transport some guests from the ceremony to the cotton dock reception.

The venue alone was amazing. Throw in a hurricane, 24+ inches of rain put Natalie Knox in control and you have a truly spectacular event. In my daughters words, "my wedding could never been any better than it was!" My wedding day was a dream come true. Boone Hall is such a beautiful place but their staff makes it over the top. My guests have complimented me and my parents over and over. I also can not say enough GREAT stuff about Natalie Knox. She was simply incredible. She made planning a wedding a complete joy. I have heard nightmares from others about planning a wedding and my experience was a dream come true. Afterwards, my mom asked should we go ahead and do this again for the 1 year anniversary! Thanks Natalie and BHP!

Excellent venue! The most beautiful place in Charleston area! The Boone Hall wedding planner did an amazing job and knew exactly what to recommend. On the day of, everything went smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing.

I could not imagine wedding planning without the help of Natalie Knox, Boone Hall Plantation's event planner. She was so wonderful in all aspects of the hustle and bustle of getting everything done. It didn't hurt that the venue was breath taking as well. Would recommend them a thousand times over. You will not regret it!

Our experience with Boone Hall Plantation and the staff there was absolutely perfection. The service, the attention to detail and the comfort they offered us was awesome. Natalie Knox and her staff were such a guide for us as we progressed through this wonderful, but stressful, journey. They really made us feel at home and a part of the Boone Hall family. It has always been a special place to us, but now it is so much more. Just wonderful.....HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Natalie was a joy to work with. She worked with my fiancé to plan my proposal at Boone Hall and it was a no brainer from there that we would work with her and have our wedding at Boone Hall. She was fabulous every step of the way. Even though I hired her for day of coordinating, she was available whenever I had a question during the planning process. Boone Hall was stunningly beautiful and our guests raved about the venue!!! We loved every bit of our time there!!!

Fairytale! My mom and I visited several vendors for our ceremony and reception. When we drove down the avenue of oaks.. We immediately knew Boone Hall would be it. Natalie is SO SWEET. She was warm, friendly, and helpful from day one. Always responsive to every email. And worked extremely well with our vendors. We had two golf carts that helped shuttle our guests around, and they even helped my husband and I move around quickly for photographs. Natalie was also very helpful with the day of schedule. Overall, AMAZING venue. Just visit this place and you'll know why it's so magical!

Natalie did an incredible job of helping us plan our wedding from day one. She was extremely responsive to emails, very flexible with meeting times, did a great job of getting us in touch with vendors and so sweet and pleasant to work with throughout the whole process, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The actual day of was flawless and the space looked AMAZING, it was everything we could have imagined and more. From the decor/flowers/food/ambiance/music, it was perfect and the night flowed seamlessly. Three weeks later and we still have friends texting us gushing about what a beautiful/fun night they had. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception! Boone Hall Cotton Dock is absolutely beautiful and the Avenue of Oaks is the perfect backdrop for amazing pictures! I loved that the Cotton Dock was a "blank canvas" that we were able to transform into something so unique and that it offered both indoor and outdoor spaces. Despite having 250 guests in the middle of January, the Cotton Dock was not overcrowded or uncomfortably cold. In addition to being a wonderful venue, Boone Hall boasts a spectacular venue manager/coordinator. Natalie was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the entire planning process and our wedding day hassle-free. I would highly recommend booking your wedding here and hiring Natalie to assist with all the details!

Our reception was on the cotton dock and was truly amazing - the views alone should make it the best site in Charleston, but the history of the plantation and the overall beauty of the cotton dock and barn make for a truly remarkable wedding site.

Everything was perfect! The grounds were beautiful and Natalie was awesome to work with. My daughter has very eclectic taste and I wasn't sure everything would come together to look cohesive. Natalie and her team absolutely worked magic! Everything was so beautifully done. Our guests were in awe.

Natalie Knox was an amazing ceremony planner. From the very beginning she was great! She handled all the specifics of my ceremony at Boone Hall. She was always very quick at answering e-mails and is very easy to work with. She's also super sweet.
When things got really stressful and emotion, because of a torrential downpour, right before my outside ceremony, she took care of everything and was able to change my ceremony location last minute to ensure that I had a beautiful ceremony. I definitely recommend her, she was wonderful!

Not only is this the most beautiful backdrop for a wedding that ever was, but Natalie is so great to work with with! She helped me find the perfect date as well as pick the perfect places around the plantation for my size party and personal wishes! They only have ONE wedding a day, which means we had an entire plantation to ourselves for the most reasonable price! This venue was a dream come true!

Boone Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding! The plantation is the perfect backdrop for beautiful pictures! Natalie at the venue was easy to work with and very helpful when I needed her. Everything with the venue was painless, and I couldn't have been more pleased with our selection of it for the wedding. Value wise the plantation is awesome! I looked at places all around Charleston and Nashville (where I'm from) when deciding on a venue, and I felt that Boone Hall was far and away the best value for what you get! The house, dock, water views and and Avenue of Oaks are unbelievably gorgeous. I would choose Boone Hall all over again - couldn't have been happier!

We had both our wedding and reception for 175 people at the Cotton Dock. It was an absolutely beautiful and perfect setting for us! The employees at Boone Hall were always so helpful and understanding about letting us in to see the venue multiple times as we planned all the decor and set up. I would absolutely recommend this venue!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Boone Hall Plantation and Natalie Knox, the event coordinator for the venue. My husband and I first met Natalie during a site visit in December 2013. We based our wedding date on the only open day in March that she had for their waterside venue, the Cotton Dock, as we fell in love when we saw it. From there, Natalie understood we were going to be planning a wedding in less than 2 months, and worked extensively each day to ensure we were on track. Throughout the process Natalie made me feel as though I was the only event that she was working on. She was incredibly responsive & always thoughtful in her emails and calls. She not only communicated with me exceptionally well, but with all of our vendors also. Natalie ensured that no detail was missed, and was genuine and caring about my husband, myself and the wonderful day that we were planning. I knew from the beginning that we would be in great hands with her, but she went above and beyond during the planning process to keep us both comfortable and happy.
We chose to contract Natalie for day-of coordination, which was amazing. Natalie worked all day up until our arrival straight through the end of the evening and breakdown to ensure everything was absolutely perfect for us. She did everything from ensuring our arrival and 'first look' photos were happily orchestrated, to shuttling family to and from photo locations in the golf card - even going as far to go to the Cotton Dock and bring my beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback dog, Maverick, back up for pictures when he left too early! I was blown away when I saw Natalie trotting up the road with Maverick. She would have done whatever she needed to that day to make us happy.
In closing, Boone Hall speaks for itself as far as its history and beauty, and is the perfect place for a wedding or special event. Natalie & our vendors turned this day into the memory of our dreams, and we are forever thankful.

Boone Hall Plantation is the most magical place to have a wedding! All of my guests said that they felt they were on a movie set everything was so perfect. We got married in front of the plantation house and then had the reception on the cotton docks. Definitely rent the golf cart. It is a long walk from the bathrooms to the front gates for the wedding party. We also used the golf carts to take pictures on the property, it helped to speed up pictures so we could enjoy our cocktail hour. The other thing I would recommend is air conditioning! It slightly takes away from the ambiance but if you can find a creative way to use it I would recommend it. We got married September 15th and it got really toasty once all the guests entered the cotton dock and especially with dancing.

SO DREAMY! We loved our wedding venue so much. We still receive compliments on how incredible the setup was and the historic beauty that surrounds the place. Even if you don't get married here, you must visit it. Our wedding would not have been the same without the cotton candy pink sunset we toasted marshmallows under. GO!

We held our ceremony on the front lawn of the plantation home. It was a beautiful setting for the ceremony with the iron gates as our backdrop. Our reception was at the Cotton Dock at the plantation as well. The plantation is kept up very well and the plants already on location were lovely. They allow outside vendors and were even helpful in recommending vendors. Jennifer and Willie were incredibly helpful with any and all questions I had. I would highly recommend Boone Hall Plantation to anyone looking for a beautiful Southern plantation for a wedding ceremony, reception or both!

The Boone Hall Plantation Cotton Dock was the perfect setting for our wedding reception! The staff was extremely helpful and allowed me and anyone working with me to view the site on several occasions. They were very quick to respond to any questions I had and were always willing to find me an answer. The only downside is that it books up way in advance, but that just goes to show you how great of a spot it is!

This venue is classically Charleston! It was perfect in every way. Jennifer there as completely helpful and totally willing to do anything we needed. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants classic Charleston Plantation.

I can't say enough how perfect Boone Hall was for a wedding and reception location. We had our wedding outside in front of the plantation house and the reception at the Cotton Dock. IT WAS GORGOUS. You will be sold after your first drive down the main entrance. The oak trees are BEAUTIFUL and will take your guests breath away! Jennifer, our contact at Boone Hall, was extremely helpful and answered all our questions PROMPTLY, which is important when you are planning a destination wedding! It began to rain after our wedding and I was worried about how everything would work out. The Cotton Dock provided a great location for photos, even with the rain, and the staff at Boone Hall made everything perfect. The staff even lit a huge fire in the fireplace which provided an extra level of ambiance I didn't know they had :) Anyways, great location.... definitely worth it!!
