Perfect wedding venue!

Our wedding at the Blue Note was better than we ever could have imagined! The value for the price was incredible, and the tents, tables, chairs, and linens were all included in the rental price, which made setup and takedown so much easier. Shawn was always around if we had questions and helped with setup. They also provided and set up our sound equipment. We could not have asked for a better venue!

Miller Wedding May 2025

Our wedding was perfect!! Shawn and Pete are very professional ,super helpful and an overall delight. Amazing pricing for the venue!! They are willing to work with you if you have any problems. We planned our wedding from all the way across the country! Our 1st venue fell through and finding such a good venue was wonderful! Thier inn is absolutely stunning!! The bridal suite is charming and private. My husband and his groomsmen got ready in a bedroom upstairs! The kitchen is nice we only used it for our cake cutting though. They will go above and beyond to make sure your day goes perfectly!!! The only thing that I could say didn't go quite right was having to show everyone where to park. My guests were a little confused. Maybe some signage in the future? Otherwise If we had to do it all over again we would still go with Blue Note Country Inn!!

The Blue Note Country Inn makes for Beautiful Wedding Memories

What a charming setting for a wedding! I'm a local photographer and love working with this venue. Funny, hard-working, and attentive, Shawn and company's bright and helpful personalities made for a happy bride and beautiful photographs.

Other than the people, my favorites about this location were the expansive front porch, the beautiful light in the bride's quarters, and the spectacular, fence-side path to the ceremony.

If you are looking for a classic, old house and barn setting, definitely check these guys out!

Wonderful venue in the country!

I was a guest and member of the wedding party, so I got to stay in the farmhouse for the wedding weekend. It was glorious! The house is on a gorgeous lot and Shawn, the proprietor, has paid attention to every detail in the house and around the property. You first notice the beautiful house with its large front porch with swinging benches, and there are lovely flowers, plants and trees surrounding the home that offer vivid colors, shade and a peaceful setting. Inside the house, every room is beautifully decorated and furnished with antiques and decor that fit this country inn perfectly. The farmhouse kitchen is so authentic to the country style of the house with everything you need to make beautiful meals or have food catered for your event. When you go out either of the back doors (onto the side patio to the deck or out the back door to the yard), you can't help but notice the large tent set up perfectly for your event. It is surrounded by beautiful trees, particularly the magnolia trees whose giant blossoms are very fragrant. The tent is large enough for the custom-built wooden bar and a band, if you choose. The ambience at the Blue Note is everything a newlywed couple and their guests could wish for!

A Hair dresser’s perspective…

The Blue Note Country Inn has charm and personality, a perfect venue. As someone who has worked many weddings, the Blue Note has everything you would want or need for your special day. The Blue Ridge mountains are beautiful and a perfect backdrop for a wedding.

Grateful Guest

I was a wedding guest at this beautiful venue. The Blue Note Inn is tucked away in a serene location surrounded by lush vegetation. The owners of the property paid attention to detail and provided an inviting and well laid out wedding and reception areas. The flow from each of the festivities was well defined, which made it easy for the guests to know where to be during the celebration. I would highly recommend The Blue Note Inn to anyone looking for a well run venue located in a a lush location.

Wonderful Venue

The Blue Note Country Inn is a wonderfully charming venue. It is well kept and beautiful maintained with all the amenities needed for the perfect wedding. Shawn, the owner, is so helpful and kind. Very accommodating to your needs. We are so happy to have found them. It was the perfect venue - exactly what we were looking for and very affordable within our budget. We would recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful and magical!

The venue was great! The property was beautiful and even though semi close to the highway, it still has privacy and serenity. Shawn was so helpful and you could tell she really wanted to make your day special. The house was beautiful and we had plenty of space for getting ready. They made our day unforgettable and it went off without a hitch! Highly recommend this venue!
