A Planner After My Own Heart
As a wedding planner myself for 13+ seasons, I knew what I was looking for in a destination wedding planner and I knew after meeting Tui, she reminded me of myself and I needed her as a part of my Dream Team for my own wedding day. I could not have done our Costa Rican wedding without Blue Butterfly Events. Tui and Audri (Adriana) made it such an incredible and stress free experience. Tui listened to our vision and took us to so many beautiful locations. We found the perfect venue and we couldn't have dreamed of a better location. She has a list of stylists, photographers, bands, DJs, decorators, performers, etc.... She got to know us well and everyone we hired were phenomenal. Tui kept in contact with me once a month to make a few decisions and keep everything on track. She is extremely organized. I did a few things at a time and never felt overwhelmed with the planning process. Audri handled the logistics of all of our guests travel needs. She will book flights, arrange shuttles, rent you a car, handle hotel blocks, book excusions with a 10% discount, etc.... She'll even play with your kids and assist you with childcare. Every question or problem one of our guests encountered, Audri was on top of it. She has such a positive energy and I loved how she corresponded with all of our guests. In summation, if you want to work with good people, people that listen and will make your special day seamless: hire Blue Butterfly Events.

The team and vendors that Tui works with were so knowledgeable and they did an amazing job at harnessing the vibe we wanted and bringing it to life in every way imaginable - from venue to florals to cake to food to music to design - everything was beautiful and even better than my wildest dreams!
Tui was so organized and helpful leading up to and during the wedding - it really made the whole day seamless. Tui and her team also made traveling with 40 people seem easy - they were always available to answer questions while we were there and they set up the best excursions for us and our guests as well!
If you are considering planning a wedding in Costa Rica I can’t recommend Blue Butterfly enough - you definitely won’t regret it!!

Not only did Tui have an amazing sense of who we were as a couple, she knew exactly which vendors to match us with to make our wedding dreams come true. The venue was extraordinary {two waterfalls and easy to get to!}, the florals were gorgeous, my hair and makeup were on point... it is a day that we will remember filled with love, beauty, happiness and ease.
