They made our day so fun! They sounded awesome and got everyone dancing! They were great to work with as well!

Blockhead was amazing! Our guests cannot, even a month after the wedding, stop talking about how fantastic the music was. They kept the dance floor hopping all night. They were incredibly easy to work with, so reasonably priced, and truly just a highlight of our wedding experience.

We hired Blockhead for our wedding on 10/15/22 and it was easily the best decision we made in the planning process. Can’t say enough good things about this group of talented musicians and our friends and family can’t stop talking about how awesome the band was. From taking care of the sound/gear for the ceremony, acoustic for cocktail hour, jamming out at the reception and DJ-ing our fave hits during the breaks - they did it all. They were professional, responsive, easy going and just an absolute pleasure to work with.

Our first priority wedding hire was Blockhead. They played at my cousin's wedding and we were on the dance floor the whole night- the energy they brought to her wedding has been unmatched at any of the other weddings we've gone to.

They played a mix of music from your traditional wedding songs to Blink 182- our whole crowd had a blast and we still have people mentioning how great the band was!

As far as planning they got back to all of our emails promptly. They arranged it so our officiant could use their mic and mic stand, and because of them I had beautiful acoustic guitar music when walking down the aisle. Their planning sheet helped us stay organized and on track.

Overall we are so happy we had them at our wedding and we hope to dance to their music at other family weddings in the future!

Blockhead was AMAZING. We cannot recommend them enough, and we credit them with making our wedding SO MUCH FUN. They played such a great variety of music that we had teens and seniors breaking it down on the dance floor all night. Every guest we’ve spoken to since the wedding can’t stop raving about how fantastic they were. Several people told us they don’t usually like wedding bands but Blockhead was a totally different experience. We love that they perform locally so we can go for a date night or out with friends to see them again! They also performed an acoustic duet for our ceremony and cocktail hour and our guests were recording videos of them playing and singing along. The whole experience was easy, personal and exciting. It felt more like a special event to have a great band play at our reception versus a DJ. Anyone who is on the fence about booking a band or having trouble finding the right one, look no further. Blockhead is everything you need and more for an incredible value!

Do yourself a favor and book this band for any event you're having. We booked them never having heard them before so I was a little nervous because their price is so reasonable. THEY ARE AWESOME. From working with us so much to determine the right music for the night (and we were difficult) to bringing an amazing amount of energy to the dance floor - they are better than anyone else out there and our guests could not stop talking about them. The whole band was amazing and so much fun... just book them. I have been to weddings with 12 piece bands that cost $20,000 and Blockhead is better.

Hired for our daughter's wedding......Fabulous band that kept EVERYONE on the dance floor for the entire evening. Great mix of music, handled all aspects of the reception well and with great humor.....Absolutely recommend!!!

We hired Blockead for our wedding and they were simply amazing! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and had a blast! They played a variety of songs so all generations were enjoying the music, and they were obviously very talented musically, and brought great energy to the wedding. We have received SO many compliments on their behalf. John was a pleasure to work with, we would so very highly recommend hiring them for your wedding!!

Not only the best sounding band in the state, but by far the best value! If you have not heard John from Blockhead sing before, I suggest you go check them out in Newport on the weekends. Aside from that, I've seen these guys play dozens of times. In the simplest terms... they bring the party. If you want a hassle free experience, perfect coordination of events, and a crowded dance floor all night, they are your guys!

Couldn't hold off writing this review as they deserve some credit ASAP after our wedding this past Saturday 9/16/17. We were in search of a band that had it all, from Tom Petty to top 40, and we found it with the Blockheads! If they weren't familiar with a song, they learned it for us, and rocked it! They had the dance floor filled from song #1 until the venue said it was finally time to go. Every guest went out of their way to tell me and my new wife that the band was outstanding and everyone wanted to get their information. The best part was that they were always playing, only one break for the entire reception!(which they picked a few recorded songs to flow seamlessly) If you're looking for a band to make your reception a party you won't forget, book these guys!
