Blake House is an intimate wedding venue and part of the Durham-Hythe Experience group in Centreville, Baltimore, Maryland. Business owners Gerry Coates and Matt Bruce met while vacationing in Mykonos, Greece, and set about visiting various holiday rentals to identify what makes them work. Leaning on their experience in construction, interior design, and clinical psychology, Gerry and Matt created a magical wedding venue that consistently surpasses guests' expectations.

Facilities and Capacity

Blake House is one of the oldest colonial homes in Maryland, built by British settler Charles Blake in the late seventeenth century. Couples and their loved ones can embrace the history and beauty of the colonial period charm fused with modern comforts. Bathing in abundant indigenous and foreign flora, the ceremony site is 12 acres of welcoming event space and is fully customizable to each celebration's color and theme. Blake House will ensure couples fall in love with their tranquil, relaxed Corsica River surroundings.

Services Offered

Family and friends will have access to a number of activities throughout the property. Outdoor corn hole and bocce ball courts allow folks to stretch their legs in the warm Baltimore sun. Alternatively, an indoor billiards table, fosse ball, and a mini dance floor can be found by the roaring wood-burning fireplace when the evenings begin to cool.
