Even 5 stars is not enough stars for Bikini Birdie Photography! As soon as I saw her website, I knew she was the one, and I'm so glad that I trusted my instinct!

Megan went above and beyond to capture every detail of our special day and we were so pleased to get to know her along the way. It was an unexpected treat to have someone arrive as a photographer and leave as a friend. Some of our favorite wedding moments were those spent with Megan! Her energy was infectious and the entire wedding benefitted from it. During our wedding and for weeks thereafter, our guests commented on how hard she was working and how much they enjoyed their interactions with her as well.

We received our photos within a month of the wedding. We were expecting wedding photos, and instead we received incredible works of art. Nothing about her photos are generic or overly posed - she captures real emotion-filled moments in the most stunning way. The way that Megan plays with the light and the venue's surroundings makes for mind-blowing results. The photos captured our feelings, our energy, and the beauty of our venue so seemingly effortlessly.

We spent hour after hour scrolling through our photos, and gasping "this is unreal" at every single photo. There is no better feeling than truly struggling to pick your favorite wedding photos because there are just too many incredible choices. Even our married friends said that our photos were the hands-down best wedding photos they had ever seen.

Every interaction with Megan was positive and every photo was absolute perfection. Choosing Bikini Birdie was the best wedding planning decision we made!

Ummm...can we just be best friends with Bikini Birdie forever?!?! I hadn't realized this before, but your wedding photographer is really with you the whole day, and I'm so glad it was Megan by our side throughout such a special event. Of course, her photography is stunning and unique and really captured our personalities, but please know Megan is also both fun AND relaxing to be around. My husband and I were worried about posing for photos (it's not our forte) but Megan put us at ease and produced photos that our guests are now all remarking "These are amazing photos!" and "She did such a good job capturing the day!" and "I relived your wedding through these photos!" Thank you, Megan. We will never forget our time together!

It's hard to even know where to begin with thanking Megan at Bikini Birdie. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further. Megan is INCREDIBLE, to say the least. Her pictures depict every part of our special day from the intimate moments shared between my husband, family and I to the dinner and dancing. Not only is she amazing at capturing every shot perfectly, but she is the sweetest, most relaxed person. The last thing you want on your wedding is another thing to stress you out, like taking pictures. I've been in many weddings where the bride and groom can't wait to be done with the pictures which is so depressing as everyone should enjoy this special, intimate moment. This was not the case with Megan. Megan took the stress out of it and never made us feel like we had to stick to a timeline or take any sort of "awkward" wedding picture. Thank you, Megan, for making our wedding last a lifetime. You are worth every penny plus a million more. We loved you!!

After much research on wedding photographers (there are so many on Maui), I somehow stumbled upon Megan's work while perusing Instagram. Her work was special...very different from many others I had seen before. She actually doesn't live on Maui, but on the Big Island. I was thrilled once I found out that she would fly to Maui to shoot our wedding. Our pictures left us breathless! She is big on natural light and takes a lot of images that aren't "posed," which we both preferred.

I highly recommend Megan. Her work speaks for itself, not to mention that she has such positive energy and is so easy to work with! The only negative is that there are so many amazing shots...how will we ever choose?!

If I could describe our experience with Megan / Bikini Birdie in one word, it would be "phenomenal". From the moment I saw her prior work, I new her artistic vision was exactly what we were after for.. romantic, edgy, cool with out one bit of "cheese". From day one, she was incredibly responsive and easy to work with to ensure the photography package booked would suit our needs. On the day of the wedding, she was unbelievable. My husband and I were in shock of how one person was able to capture nearly every aspect of the day to perfection. Furthermore, our wedding album is just out of this world. Even though our wedding photos are pretty much perfect, I think the best part of having Megan on board was her AMAZING personality. The three of us got on like a house-on-fire, which made both my husband and I far more relaxed and comfortable being photographed, which I think is essential for natural and genuine pictures. While we had some fantastic vendors, Megan with Bikini Birdie was hands-down one of the best decisions we made and would do it again in a heart beat. Book her before someone else does!! xx

We hired Megan for our wedding (outdoor, on the beach) and we recommend her to all of our friends. You'll notice that her eye for photo composition is unique among wedding/event photographers. She does a great job composing portraits and manages to capture all the best candid moments.

She made the photographer job seem easy at our wedding. She was highly organized and made excellent use of the very limited time that we "set aside" for portraits before and after our ceremony. We highly recommend Megan. She even won the praise of other professional photographers who attended our wedding!

Megan at Bikini Birdie was an absolute pleasure to have as our photographer on the day of our wedding. Not only did she produce amazingly creative shots but she fitted into our day in a relaxed casual manner. We were after natural shots and she managed to get at least one shot of every guest beautifully and of course a lot of us! It made it extremely hard to pic which ones to have up at home! I am a big fan of her work, you only need to look on her website to see how good she is. I cannot recommend her highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

The staff at Bikini Birdie was AMAZING. She handled our entire event flawlessly, able to capture our entire wedding and reception with beautiful clarity and perception. We now own almost 1,000 pictures of our event and are unable to find a "favorite"- all of them are breathtaking, telling a story on their own. I would strongly recommend Bikini Birdie to any individual who is looking for a strong portfolio of photos that they will want to share with everyone.
