Offering nearly 10,000 square feet of flexible event space the Gateway Grand Hotel offers two separate ballrooms, two smaller, more intimate spaces, the expansive pre-function area and the continental mezzanine for wedding functions. Direct access to our event space from our large (complimentary) parking lot ensure easy in/out for guests. Our sales and catering team will coordinate your special day, ensuring a flawless delivery of your concept.
The Springhills Ballroom (3030 sqft) is the largest event space in the hotel, accommodating up to 270 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner (without a dance floor). If a dance floor is required, the ballroom can accommodate 220 guests for sit-down meals. For a stand-up reception, the ballroom accommodates 200 guests comfortably. as it measures some 3,930 square feet in dimension. For a sit-down meal (without a dance floor) up to 270 people can be accommodated, while 220 can find room with a dance floor. As many as 350 can find room here when it is arranged in theater layout. For a cocktail reception, meanwhile, 200 people can chat, mingle, and enjoy the day together. This ballroom can be split into two different spaces - highlighting how versatile this venue is.
The Cross Creek Ballroom is the next largest venue at Best Western Gateway Grand Hotel and Conference Center. A 1,500 square-foot space, it offers ample room to be arranged according to your preferences.
The Santa Felasco (649 square feet), Edgewood Boardroom (357 square feet), and the Magnolia (269 square feet) would work well for more intimate affairs or as bridal/get-ready rooms.

The Best Western Gateway Grand in Gainesville, FL is such an amazing wedding venue! The staff is courteous and they ensure that every detail of the wedding goes as planned. They also have several different options as far as ballroom sizing / configurations so there is something for every bride and budget!
Best Western Gateway Grand is such a great place for a wedding! It is spacious and beautiful. But I really like working with the Jorge. No matter what needs may arise, he's got them cared for! When I get there to deliver the cake, they always have the cake table ready, and everything is always beautiful!!!! And for me, that is a real treat!!!! If they treat a vendor that good, just image how awesome the honored guest are treated!!!!
