My husband and I had our wedding here and we were very happy with the results minus a few mishaps. One, the wedding "planner" assigned to us gave us incorrect information multiple times and then lied in front of management afterwards stating that she had never said what she did. Two, apparently this venue sets up "drink ticket" stations for cash bars, which they do not tell you ahead of time. It was almost like a carnival ride where you pay for a ticket and then take the ticket to the bartender, so we were very unhappy with this. Also, the food was not left out for more than an hour which was unacceptable for $50 a person (although the food was incredible and they give you a lot of food for what you pay). We were also unhappy that sodas were only included while the food was out and then after the food was taken away, guests were being charged $3.50 per glass of soda (which was not explained beforehand either).Sent on 06/09/2012
On the plus side, they were flexible and willing to set up our ceremony and reception for us, laid out our favors, table number cards, arch, etc for us, and the staff were very professional and attentive. Another plus is this venue does not charge a cake cutting fee which saves money, and provides all wedding packages with a honeymoon suite for the night for the bride and groom with chilled champage and chocolate covered strawberries upon arrival. They also charge only for food (+20% administrative fee) and do not charge for hourly use of the reception. They came down on the ceremony room price from $750 to $500 as well, and it was a beautiful ballroom. Not a bad place to use, but be sure to read that contract beforehand and go by that regardless of what anyone else tells you!
