From the moment I saw Best Day Ever at a wedding expo in Sacramento, I knew we would need their help pulling together the wedding of our dreams - let’s be honest, my dreams! This mother-daughter duo not only met but exceeded our wildest expectations for our wedding day. Our initial consultation was a breath of fresh air. Melanie took time to understand our vision, desires, and even our quirks! It felt like I was chatting with a friend who just happened to be a wedding genius. Throughout the planning process, Melanie provided invaluable advice, helped us source the best vendors, and guided us through every single detail, ensuring nothing was overlooked.

On the day of the wedding, the Best Day Ever team was nothing short of miraculous. They orchestrated everything seamlessly, from the setup to the ceremony and reception. I was able to relax, knowing they had everything under control. The way they styled the decorations were stunning, the timeline flowed flawlessly, and every detail was executed to perfection.

Melanie thought of everything I forgot to think about, she was amazing and I simply wouldn't have had the Best Day Ever without her. Her vast knowledge and calmness helped steady me through this process, and any last minute things that arose or changes that we (the bride and groom) made were met with ease and grace. She was very easy to work with and I felt comfortable calling, emailing or texting her with any and all questions, no matter the time of day and I felt at ease knowing all my questions would get answered.

Best Day Ever (BDE) was great to work with in the year that we spent planning our wedding. We had the full planning package, so BDE gathered appropriate vendors, got cost estimates, and presented them along with the projected budget. They also advised how to pick the best vendor. For example, we taste-tested, caterers, interviewed DJs, and followed social media accounts for florists. they gave the wedding planning process in bite-size steps, with fun worksheets, so we wouldn’t get overwhelmed. BDE created a complete timeline for all of the vendors with a map of the venue. We could not have gone to that level without quitting our jobs. My wedding went really well and everything was on time.

Mel and Katie are the most detail oriented, thoughtful, INCREDIBLE, team. I can not even put into words what they did for us, but nothing would have happened without them. We had a wedding across country in Yosemite. Neither my husband or I had any clue what we wanted, and are very laid back. They really held our hand with education, narrowing down choices, they even MADE US. PINTEREST to help our creative juices flowing. They knew we missed our pups and surprised us with framed photos of them at our wedding. 😭 I was indifferent about flowers so they picked up and MADE the most amazing bouquet. We had only one thing we wanted, mini beef wellingtons, they made it happen. They though of every detail and so much more than I could possibly list. I could not possibly recommend them more. THIS is your sign to book them, you will not find someone better!

Mel & Katie were literally a dream come true. I am extremely type A and could have been okay planning the wedding without a wedding planner/coordinator; BUT I didn't want to. My fiancé (at the time) and I didn't want me to spend so much time stressing and overcomplicating things so even though I hated the idea of paying for something I "could" do, we paid for the piece of mind and it was the BEST money spent. I NEVER had any doubt or worry. I probably was the calmest bride anyone has seen because I just had full 100% confidence in Mel & Katie. I knew that whatever may come our way, they would make sure the wedding went off without a hitch. Of course we can't control everything such as what the guests will be like or what the weather choses to do but no matter what, Mel & Katie were prepared and ready. For example, our wedding was in September and we fully planned on it being triple digit weather. We had misters ready and planned for plenty of water and had a plan b to do things in the barrel room where it was cooler if needed. 7 days before the wedding we found out that there was a strong possibility of rain on  our wedding day. Mel worked with our vendor to come up with plans B & C. I was never worried. Another example is that we can't prepare for how our guests will act but Mel and Katie met with us and had us go over any family members/friends/guests that may potentially cause a scene or issue and anyone they should be aware of. Mel & Katie thought of everything so that on the wedding day it would be smooth and the bride and groom AND parents don't have to worry. Mel put me at ease. She was also always available. Like I said, I am so type A which comes with me asking a lot of questions. Mel never made me feel crazy. She answered my questions with patience and compassion and grace. Mel & Katie were always prepared and met in person with us at the venue a few times before the wedding. I truly had zero doubts that the wedding would go off well. They were extremely organized and helped us check off all the boxes. We didn't necessarily need this, but they also have a lot of great contacts and referrals to use for other vendors if needed. Brian and I (and our parents) really enjoyed working with Mel & Katie and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!! Just because you "can" take care of everything doesn't mean you should. Let someone else help! Prioritize what is important to you. For us, it was SO worth it to pay for the peace of mind in knowing our wedding day would not be stressful. Mel & Katie's business is called Best Day Ever and truly, our day was THE BEST DAY EVER. It was better than I could ever imagined. We are still on Cloud 9 and we are SO incredibly grateful for Mel & Katie.

I will begin this review by saying Mel and Katie are the absolute best coordinators and I am so very thankful for them! Words cannot express just how thankful we are and there is no way our wedding in May 2023 would be as successful as it was without them. They where very professional, organized, kind, funny, and so dedicated to their job. You can tell they love what they do and their work shows it! They checked on me throughout the planning process and offered their support. They always responded to me immediately. They created the most perfect timeline and completed a very detailed dossier to coordinate all the vendors. I had absolute faith in their work. So much so that the day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about anything cause I knew they would handle whatever came up! They were so organized with their process and prep work, that it made the week of and day of a breeze. I could just go on and on about how amazing they are. I highly recommending hiring Mel and Katie for any party or wedding, you won't regret it!

Mel and Katie were so amazing! We hired them for month of coordination but they were in contact with us even before then. They truly cared about our big day. They were so helpful and very responsive. Our day ran so smooth! As a type A- super detail oriented bride, they brought all my visions to life. I loved working with them!🤍
