Based in Melrose, Massachusetts, Luxury Destination Travel is a boutique travel agency specializing in exclusive travel services for travelers around the globe, traveling anywhere in the world. With a unique speciality in destination weddings and primary focus on the travel elements involved, owner Linda Mitchell was inspired to start this business in 2001 after helping her daughter plan her destination wedding in Bermuda. Prior to that she was in VIP corporate travel for 15 years with American Express.

Linda has a unique talent of creating travel experiences for client's most discerning requests. Her approach to the services she offers is a sophisticated attention to detail. Linda’s explicit knowledge of destinations helps to imagine experiences for her clients that go above and beyond anything that can be found on the internet. Our Travel Expert and Wonderful Advisor

Linda and her company have been a wonderful new partner for our business the David Tutera Experience in supporting our travel needs as well as our guests and clients travels. Personally she has help with last minute travel changes needed for David Tutera and our family. For our business she has help to streamline travel and keep track of expenses. She uses her knowledge of the travel industry to help us control costs while still creating first class experiences! Professional, knowledgable, connected...

Linda is a professional and knowledgable travel specialist who is very well connected in the Industry. Not only did she help us navigate organizing travel for all of our guests for our destination wedding, she also connected us with other specific Industry professionals in Hawaii.

Linda also helped us manage our guests travel questions by building a custom travel landing page. As we all know, friends and family have lots and lots of questions when they are planning their travels. Especially as our guests were making a vacation of the their travels to our wedding, she helped us be efficient in communicating and answering questions for all our guests.

I would highly recommend working with her and expect she will be attentive to your all your travel needs!

An amazing help from Linda - the best travel professional

If you travel often, you understand how important it is to have someone helping you with tons of travel hassles (lost baggage, postponed or canceled flights, postponed trips etc). Now, with all the challenges we are facing with COVID-19 it is essential to have a professional by your side.
Linda is such a person. She was helping me with planning an event last year (flights, travel requirements, vouchers, hotel bookings etc.). It was a great, positive experience. It went down smoothly for a large group of people traveling to Bermuda from across the globe.
Linda is a positive, responsible, and experienced professional, a pleasure to work with.

Amazing, stress free, wonderful experience!!!

I was traveling for the first time to Bermuda for an industry event. Linda was so helpful and knowledgeable, not only about the Island, but also about the flights, transportation and more. She even arranged for me to travel with another attendee, that I did not know at the time, but have become great friends with since the trip. Linda was warm, friendly and wonderful from the first conversation throughout the entire process. Traveling can be a challenge at times, especially these days; but Linda makes it easy, stress free and enjoyable. Professional & Knowledgeable

Luxury Destination Travel handled our destination wedding to Bermuda and it was every bit the wedding of our dreams! Between fantastic service, excellent recommendations, and complete professionalism, our guests were able to travel and enjoy the island and the details were perfection.
