Bella Manse was my top pick for cake bakers for a number of reasons...Renee was incredibly helpful, full of ideas, had AMAZING tasting cake (best white cake I've ever had), and above all was patient with me! I live about an hour away from Bella Manse and to me, the delivery fee (which was for as far out as she could travel) was completely worth it. I was a pretty indecisive bride when it came to my cake and I had no ideas for how I wanted it to look. What I ended up doing was sending her a picture of my dress, the flowers in my boquet, and just some general 'wants' and 'don't wants' and she went ahead and created a design just for me. When meeting with her for the first time, I felt safe knowing that the most important dessert I'd ever eat would be in her hands, and she always (always!) respected my budget and would fully disclose price changes every step of the way. I would truly consider Bella Manse a bride's best friend. My cake ended up absolutely beautiful and the taste was phenomenal. I give this place my highest reccommendation (hence all 5 stars) because even when being critical, I could come up with nothing less than "Yum" and smile about the least stressful part of my wedding.

Our wedding cake was absolute perfection! Not only was it DELICIOUS (with pink champagne cake and cream frosting), but it was also GORGEOUS. My husband and I are huge readers and so Renée created a book cake for us. And when I say "book cake," I mean an enormous stack of antique books (we chose the titles we wanted for the spines) and another beautiful fairy tale book that lay open on the top of the stack. Renée even used edible paper for the open book and made the edges gold leaf to give the effect of a real book, whose pages could be turned. On the left-hand side of this open book, she scanned an image of a knight by a castle surrounded by roses (because roses were the flowers we chose to use for our wedding) and on the right-hand side, she placed a Cinderella coach with bride and groom figurines (because we used a real coach to drive us from the ceremony to the reception). It was absolutely beautiful. The cake tied the elements of our wedding and our personalities together. And, It has been 5 months since our wedding and we are still getting compliments about it. People couldn't believe that it was a real, edible cake! In fact, it was so realistic looking that the hotel staff didn't realize it was a cake and asked us where the other sheet cakes were because they were running out. They thought the "show" cake was made out of papier-mâché! And, again, it was, as Roald Dahl would say, scrumptious. Many times, when a cake looks beautiful, you have to be more flexible about the taste. This was NOT the case for our cake. It was wonderful to see and wonderful to eat! And Renée was an absolute dream to work with. She is very kind, very open to ideas, enormously creative, and extremely professional. We just love her! We couldn't have been happier about our wedding cake experience!

Bella Manse is, hands down, THE BEST wedding cake vendor in this area. Renee went above and beyond to make our wedding day sepcial. My now-husband and I met with her for the first time and she drew our dream cake just by hearing a few ideas we gave her. Then, we tasted the cake. Let me tell you-- WOW!!! As if that wasn't enough, Renee accomodated myself, my Mom, Nana and two aunts for cake tasting, as the cake was a present from my family. She welcomed our crazy group into her beautiful home with a smile and platter of mini cupcakes that she made just for us. Unbelievable!! Finally, she made the groom's cake-- an exact replica of my husband's Mitsubishi Evolution. My husband and all of his buddies were in complete shock at how good it looked!! Many other Bella Manse reviewers state that the cake tastes just as good on the wedding day as it did for the tasting. They are right! My guests are still raving about how good the cake was!! I have told every girl I know to choose Bella Manse. Renee, thank you SO MUCH for being so stinkin' good at what you do!! You are simply an amazing woman!
