We originally went to the Bella Bridesmaid in Westport, CT with my mom and sister to have her try on dresses. It was a great experience and she tried on SO many dresses. I knew a basic idea of what color/style and even possible designer I wanted, which made the search a little easier. I really liked how there was an online portal for me to track my bridesmaids’ orders and also for them to input. It made it so easy to see who I needed to follow up with.

I've always driven past Bella Bridesmaids in Westport, CT and have always adored their gowns in the display window. When the time came to dress my bridal party, this was the place I definitely wanted to check out. I worked with the owner, Maggie. She was beyond sweet as were all the Bella Girls on the team. Very patient with me as I had lots of questions and inquiries. I trusted her opinion as she was very knowledgeable on all the dresses, styles and new arrivals. I'm in the fashion industry so it was important to me the fabrics matched while accomplishing a mix n match bridal party.
My bridal party ranged from a size 0 to plus size. The special options were not a problem whatsoever. I wanted my girls to feel just as comfortable and confident in their dresses, as I was in my bridal gown. I will say that the value of the gowns and options ranged greatly. From affordable, to moderate, to expensive. There was an abundant amount of options to choose from no matter what your budget was. Maggie kept me on schedule throughout the entire process. She welcomed my family when we hosted a weekend appointment at the shop. Everyone was very accommodating that it was actually a very fun adventure and wedding task. To this day, I am still obsessed with each of the dresses my girls personally picked out.

I was a little hesitant to take my girls to Bella Bridesmaids as I thought it was going to be more expensive that what we wanted to pay, but was happily surprised! They matched the price of the dress wanted from another shop without a problem. The customer service is amazing. Maggie went above and beyond to accommodate my bridal party. Highly recommend!

Maggie (the owner) was wonderful to work with, and the shop has a great selection! It was helpful that there are multiple BB locations since my bridesmaids live in different states and they were all able to try on the dress options before I decided. The staff’s advice and suggestions were very patient and helpful and they did not make me feel pressured into a dress choice. The bridesmaids were all shipped their dresses on time. I would highly recommend this shop!

All I have to say is I am so thankful and it was such an amazing experience to work with Maggie and her team! Her customer service and professionalism is above and beyond! Maggie created a special day for my bridesmaids and flower girls. She accommodated me twice by opening up early and coming in special for my girls since we were commuting from Long Island and New Jersey. My girls were able to roam the store and try on any and every dress she had with no pressure or stress. We narrowed two down and Maggie immediately emailed us the quotes with all the details. When I found other dresses online I emailed Maggie and she was eager to help us. She truly understood my vision, helped us match flower girl/jr bridesmaid dresses and brought the bridesmaid & flower girl options in to the store for the girls to try on. Every email was responded to quickly with quotes or any information I needed. When our decision was made my girls were measured, dresses were paid for, ordered and estimated delivery dates were provide. Having a timeline relieved any last minute anxiety there could have been and allowed us to focus on other wedding details. Maggie was pregnant when we started the process and went on maternity leave before my wedding. Even though she was spending her first few months with her newborn, her special time never out shined my special day. She stayed involved, in contact with myself and her vendors. A true A+ operation and you can tell her vendors recognize she is an asset as a business partner. It is refreshing to work with someone who loves making people happy, stands behind the product they are selling and what they do! The store is nestled in a perfect spot across from some delicious restaurants and not far from shopping you can walk to. It allows you to make a beautiful day for your bridal party. I really cannot say enough and can't wait for my photos to come back! I wish I could have another Wedding to do it all over again. Worth the trip from Long Island.

After a lot of research, I knew that I wanted my bridesmaids to have Jenny Yoo dresses. We spent a while at the Jenny Yoo salon in NY and picked a color and looked at some styles. However, when it came to purchasing, the team at Bella was able to get us a great discount, was very upfront about sales that were coming up, and were even responsive over the Christmas holiday while the store was closed so I could get my order in before the end of the year. They don't have every style in every color, nor do they have each style in loads of sizes, but they do have enough of a variety for you to get a clear idea of essentially any option. My bridesmaids spanned from size 00 to size 20 and everyone was able to get an idea of what styles work best on them. We had a great experience and ended up going there to purchase bridesmaids dresses for my sister's wedding as well!

I went to Bella bridesmaids in Westport after having gone to several places in New York City to find dresses for my bridesmaids. I was greeted by Maggie and immediately knew I was in great hands. She was so kind and helpful. I wanted to go with all different dresses with a mauve/blush theme. She nailed exactly what I envisioned. She was patient with each of my girls while they tried on countless dresses and always gave them alternatives if they weren’t happy. She also sent me pictures of dresses after I made a last minute change to one of the dresses. All of my bridesmaids talked about how impressed they were with this Bella bridesmaids & Maggie compared to all the other places they had been in nyc. Maggie made the decision making process for indecisive bride easy. She flexible and helpful when I made last minute changes. It was an amazing experience and I recommend all brides to bring their bridal parties here (ask for Maggie she is amazing)!!!!!

We used Bella Bridesmaids in Westport for both my wedding and my sister's wedding, and they were wonderful! Particularly when comparing the service to the NYC location, they really went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were comfortable and had all of the time and assistance we needed to pick the right bridesmaid dresses. Selecting bridesmaids gowns here was a breeze! The store is a little small, but we called ahead to make sure they had the designer and style number of the dress we wanted and they had it waiting for us when we came in to try them on!

Madison & Maribeth very very helpful with trying on gowns, and recommending the appropriate sizes to be ordered. They were great about answering questions over the phone and providing a recommended vendor for alterations. They were also great keeping a level head when dealing with the hectic-nature of picky bridesmaids!

In being fair, I did want to add to my 1 star review below. The owner, Maggie, of Bella Westport heard about my bad experience and called me to personally apologize. She offered to personally meet with me and my girls, and was extremely nice about the entire situation. Although I stand by my 1 star review of the experience I had on Saturday with one of the employees, I wanted to be sure to give Maggie 5 stars, as she did reach out to be overly accommodating.

We had the worst experience this past weekend. We showed up early and asked if we could start looking around to which Kate (fill in manager as the owner is on mat. leave) said yes and invited us in. My girls and I started pulling some dresses and waited for our appointment to begin. When our lady (who only works Saturdays - I forget her name) came over to us at the beginning of the appointment, she immediately started yelling at us for pulling dresses, aggressively grabbed the dresses my girls were holding and threw them on a rack. She yelled that we shouldn't have pulled dresses, and complained about having to put the dresses back (which is her job). I can go on about her attitude, rude comments (telling one of my bridesmaid she looked bad in a dress) and completely unprofessional demeanor. If it was an issue for us to pull dresses or being their early than I understand that, but it should have been communicated to us or they shouldn't have told us we can be there and start looking. By us pulling the dresses, it completely streamlined the appointment and allowed us to very quickly pinpoint the dress we liked. Lastly, she explained she would send me an email with detailed information on the dress we liked and instructions on how to order it (standard across all Bella Bridesmaids stores) but failed to do so. Whoever that woman is that only works on Saturday's should be fired. The only reason we didn't leave was because my girls came from 7+ hours away to be there.
