Lara Knight made my wedding dress for special day this past September. I'm amazed at how beautiful it is, and how beautiful it makes me feel. One of the things I was most dreading was going to a store to put on something that just wouldn't fit right. We've all had that experience in a dressing room. Having a custom made dress means that I don't have to cross my fingers wishing that what I want is going to be available off the rack. It means that there's not going to be a salespeople pushing you to buy something you're not sure about. I wanted something simple and classy and Lara gave me that and more... She made me a dress more beautiful than I could've imagined that's timeless.

There are no words to describe how wonderful Lara is and how beautiful my dress was! Lara spent so much time working with me to figure out every last detail, from the exact shade of the satin, to the perfect lace to the tiniest details of my dress, that my dress was exactly what I wanted! She guided me through the process and I would have been lost without her!

My dress was stunning and fit me beautifully! It was incredibly comfortable, even though it was a corset back (which did amazing things for my figure!) People still tell me how unforgettable my dress is! I've never felt more beautiful and confident!

Most importantly, Lara made me feel comfortable throughout everything. She listened to me and helped me figure out what I wanted. She is the sweetest person in the world and so incredibly talented!

Lara Knight has the BEST hand-made, designer dresses hands down. She caters to you and works with you one-on-one to achieve your desired look until you walk down the isle. The craftsmanship of her gowns is impeccable. Her seams and finishes are so well done that I could've worn my dress inside-out! I wish all of my clothes were as well made!

Book Lara Asap. She's amazing. I've never had a custom gown so I didn't know what to expect. The bride wanted a certain Gatsby look for her epic wedding and since her dress was being made, the bridesmaids dresses were custom made as well.
All the bridesmaids shared a corseted top but each of us were allowed to pick the bottom to fit our personality and taste. Lara and I chatted a bit at our first measurement fitting so she could get to know me and by the end of our 4 meetings (for fittings and adjustments) I was presented with an awesome dress!!! Its uh-f*ing-mazing.  The corseted top fit me like second skin and the corset, since it was designed just for me, had extra extra extra padding on my flat-chest area and it resulted in some mega cleavage!!!!!  I also walked out with a faux fur jacket and satin gloves she helped style the dress with which was all included in the overall price.
Yeah. So $800 is a LOT of money for bridesmaids dress but when you figure in dress, alterations, wonder bra corset and all the extra stuff (shawl etc) final cost usually comes to $600 ish anyway for a dress that you'll be fidgeting in all night. (The bride did chip in though). If you're a bride I 100% recommend going with a custom gown. Period. Go to a bridal salon for fun but at the end of the day, go with a custom gown. You'll not be wearing a cookie cutter dress that needs to be altered and I can't explain how amazing it is having something fit you soooo perfectly that it really move with you and is like second skin!
