My now husband and I always knew we wanted to have our wedding in Tahoe, but with us living in New York, we were worried that the execution of planning a cross-country wedding would be difficult. After hiring Melissa as our wedding planner, those worries quickly dissipated.

In the early days of planning, Melissa took the time to get a sense of what we wanted and was quick to deliver us a list of vendors to choose from that aligned to what we had in mind. She took the lead on confirming their availability, sharing a breakdown of pricing and services, and finalizing the booking of each vendor. She was always helpful with providing insight as a local when needed too. All the vendors we worked with expressed their love and appreciation for Melissa - which is a testament to who she is as a person and the strong partnerships she’s built over the years.

In the months and weeks leading up to our wedding, Melissa was incredibly responsive and communicative. She executed the final details flawlessly and made everything run smoothly. On the day of the wedding, she was present and always checking in on us. She has a calm demeanor and is inherently empathetic, which made us feel at ease, and in turn we were able to cherish the time we had with our friends and families and appreciate what is now and will forever be the best day of our lives. We are truly grateful to Melissa and all the hard work she put into our wedding.

We worked with Melissa as our wedding planning over a two year period, including a postponed wedding and lots of complications due to COVID-19. Melissa was a joy to work with from start to finish, bringing an immense amount of knowledge and organization to what feels like a very overwhelming project.

Melissa introduced us to an amazing set of vendors, giving us lots of choice to who to work with. Given she is a Tahoe local, she has an immense amount of experience with many of the vendors throughout the area, which was invaluable to us. She ran an efficient and streamlined process to make sure we were checking all the boxes at the right time, and never falling behind schedule. Throughout the two years, Melissa did a fantastic job running go between with all of our vendors, including a seamless date change when our original October 2020 wedding had to be moved to summer of 2021. Her personal relationships with the vendors significantly contributed to how smoothly everything ran.

In addition to her great logistical prowess, Melissa also had a great eye for design, and was a big contributor to the overall look and feel of the day. She helped me think of every last detail, and kept the focus on how we wanted the day to feel (not just look in photographs).

The day of our wedding, everything could not have run more smoothly. We had the most beautiful and perfect wedding, in large part due to Melissa!

Melissa was critical as to why our wedding day went smoothly. Even before that, she was in constant communication with our other vendors. She let us enjoy our day as opposed to being stressed having to run it ourselves. Melissa herself was very kind, orderly, and communicative. She provided us with timelines to understand what and when exactly events would happen on our special day. If for some odd reason I needed a wedding coordinator again, I would without a doubt choose her.

Do yourself a favor and hire Beau & Arrow! Melissa is extremely creative and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process! The best decision we made in re: our wedding, was to hire her! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and very personalized, thanks to her amazing creative vision, execution, and ability to get all of the vendors to work together seamlessly. We had so many guests say it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended - that was definitely Melissa's eye for design! There are countless ways she surprised me with her creativity and memory -- from reminding me of things we spoke about during our first call to executing those things, even when we didn't talk about them again after the first call! We hired Melissa as our month of coordinator and she made wedding prep and execution happen seamlessly. She took so much off our plate for the month leading up to our wedding and she was helpful with answering questions and pointing us in the right direction even before her contract began. She is nice, calm, easy to talk to, and totally reliable. Hiring her was the best decision we made for our wedding.

Working with Melissa made everything about wedding planning so much easier. There is no way I would have been able to organize my wedding without her. It was especially helpful that she knows the Tahoe area so well and was able to easily coordinate all the vendors and venue details. We just got married on the west shore of Tahoe in June and absolutely could not have done it without Melissa and her team.
