So far, the Bavarian has been incredibly helpful in planning my wedding. The event coordinator is very flexible and willing to help make your day whatever you'd like it to be. This venue is helping us stay within budget, and we certainly don't mind having to do the setup ourselves.
The catering coordinator there is amazing, too! She works hard to make sure that everything for the wedding is exactly what you want, even if it means changing the menu or thinking outside of the box.

The even coordinator, John M. was absolutely amazing. You do decorate everything yourself, however, this was key for us to stay within our budget.

They let you in anytime the day prior, and provide basically anything you need.

Service was absolutely great.

The room itself was great for decorating because its a blank canvas, the cost is great the only complaint we had was the wait staff were very rude to some of guests and were unprofessional at times. But not enough to ruin our day.

The Bavarian is a wonderful club in Altoona, PA. You get to come in the day-before to decorate and get everything set up. If you're looking to rent the upstairs I highly suggest some white curtains for the backdrop, char coverings and uplights to pull the place together. Their dance floor is HUGE and as a DJ of course we love that feature! They provide food + bar service, chairs and tables. You provide the rest!
