Historical Wedding Venue located in Malabar, 10 minutes south of Melbourne, East Coast of Central Florida.
We are the LARGEST HISTORIC VENUE in Brevard County with indoor, AC/heated space for up to 130 of your guests and the ONLY VENUE that offers a dedicated indoor ceremony space under air, making YEAR ROUND events possible. With our exclusive WEATHER CONTINGENCY PLAN, you can rest easy knowing you and your guests will be comfortable on any date you choose.
Built in 1927 as the original two-room School House in Brevard County, this historical wedding venue built in the Collegiate Gothic architectural style (like Harvard University) features soaring ceilings, open airy spaces, plentiful original windows providing beautiful natural light at all hours, polished hardwood floors and touches of elegance such as vintage chandeliers and oversized mirrors.
Hidden on 2.5 acres of manicured grounds and surrounded by 350 acres of natural Florida preserve, the Estate is completely private and exclusive. The venue is named after the mature Banyan Tree that graces the property - Banyan trees are also known as the Tree of Life, representing immortality and considered "God's shelter" with aerial roots and a large crown canopy.
Our elegant spaces are a perfect backdrop to wedding styles from elegant, vintage or rustic, garden or family style to formal black tie affairs.

Exclusive access to The Banyan Estate and 2.5 acres of manicured grounds

Over 8,000 square feet of indoor air conditioned/heated space PLUS outdoor ceremony and cocktail spaces
5 Bathrooms (1 ADA) and First floor is ADA accessible
Exclusive access to Bridal Suite and Grooms Suite
Weather Contingency Plan - if Florida's weather doesn't cooperate, we have separate indoor spaces for ceremony, cocktail and reception. We don't have to merge two event spaces into one like other venues.

Lovely Venue, Lovely Owners
Tom & Joanne at the Banyan were so helpful throughout the planning process and at the wedding. Definitely a bit on the pricier side, but so worth it. A sweetheart table and bird cage for gifts were included which I don't think is listed anywhere on their site.
Tom helped all the ladies up and down stairs and made sure I (bride) was taken care of the whole evening. I went to hug him and my dress knocked a Moscow mule to the floor and shattered a glass all over the floor, me, Tom, and a 100 year old desk. Tom rushed to clean it up and somehow did not yell at me for probably ruining a precious antique.
They were super responsive and helpful the entire time!

Best venue we could've hoped for.
Tom and Joanne were highly attentive and the ultimate professionals. They were wonderfully response during the entire course of planning and on the day of the event itself. They made us comfortable in that we knew there would be no glitches and had there been I suspect they had a plan "B" for almost any situation - they really know what they're doing.

Our experience at the Banyan Estate was perfect!! Tom and Joanne are so kind and responsive, they make you feel very much at ease during the stress of wedding planning. We picked the venue for the timeless beauty, you don’t need to spend much on wedding decorations! Beautiful venue!!

Perfect venue for a romantic wedding
This place is truly a hidden gem, a beautiful venue with a stunning view that felt warm and romantic. Their attention to detail and dedication to quality work were amazing. The whole team worked very closely with us at every step along the process to best cater to our needs and expectations. My daughter’s wedding day couldn’t have been any better. Owners Tom and Joanne
They were both very helpful. When giving advice from their many years of experience, Tom and Joanne were not overbearing and made every effort to listen to both the bride and groom’s needs and desires. They were very assessable and if not available by phone, returned our calls within minutes or a few hours. Being the mother of the bride, I needed to be in contact with them often especially in the last several weeks before the wedding. At the wedding and after, the feedback we received was only complimentary! I highly recommend Tom and Joanne and their venue, The Banyan Estate for your wedding and event needs. Amazing venue
We recently held our wedding and recention at the Banyan Estate (2/23/19) and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The owners, Tom and Joanne are fabulous and really get into the planning process and work with you to make your day extra special. We were married outside in the back by the Banyan tree, held the reception in the pavilion, cocktail hour in the beautifully renovated lobby and the bridal party got ready upstairs in the gorgeous loft with big windows and tons of natural lighting (great for make up and photos!) It was our perfect day! We loved working with Tom and Joanne and we highly recommend the Banyan Estate if you want elegance and professionalism without the high price!

Excellent service as usual
As an event space, Banyan Tree Estates is a beautiful and versatile venue that can easily accompdate a ceremony and reception no matter what the weather is. Our theme was vintage travel, and Banyan was the perfect backdrop. Unlike other venues, we felt like Tom and Joanne, truly cared about your day and our party. They were involved in every step of the process, and made our day very special.

Dream wedding
I cannot say enough great things about Tom and Joanne and the Banyan Estate! From the very first day when we toured the property, it was clear this was where we wanted our dream wedding to take place. The owners were open to allowing us to make the space truly our own with a lot of our own decor and vendors. They worked closely with my planner and helped the day run so smoothly. The multiple rooms allowed our larger guest count to freely mingle in the space and still feel a part of the action. The grounds are kept perfect and became the best backdrop for all of our group photos. I couldn’t have pictured a more perfect setting for my dream wedding and we are forever grateful to them!
