We made the best choice by choosing Bam Bam Bakery to make our cupcakes. First, let me say that many of our guests had gluten or dairy allergies and couldn't believe the quality of the cupcakes we offered. Many noted that it's been years since they could eat the same dessert as everyone else at a wedding. Next, I'll say that even the non-allergy guests raved about our dessert. Finally, I even made a special request for a specific flavor and they definitely came through for us. Our cupcakes were absolutely incredible and Bam Bam Bakery did everything they could to make our day special. We are so happy with our choice!

Tina & the entire BamBam crew did a fantastic job with our wedding cake on April 21, 2018. For starters, my husband and I had such a fun time with Tina when we did a cake tasting in January – she was really easy to talk to & very down to earth. We picked our cake and frosting colors, and since we weren’t hard set on a particular design, I just emailed her a few photos of cakes that I liked. It was such a neat wedding day surprise for us to see what Tina had put together – just absolutely stunning and very classy. Oh, not to add that the cake was very tasty and none of the guests even guessed that it was gluten free! I would definitely recommend BamBam and Tina to any other Maine brides looking to celebrate in style.

Bam Bam Bakery is right on Commercial St in Portland, surprisingly easy to find and navigate for pick up orders. ALL GLUTEN FREE, mostly DAIRY FREE and can accommodate VEGAN. This was a dream come true. Experts at their craft, the consistency of these fine desserts were spot on and absolutely delicious. Not just WEDDING CAKES, but also Whoopie Pies, Fruit Bars (tried an amazing rosemary raspberry), and of course cupcakes. We are doing 2 dozen GF VG cupcakes, and two specially for face smooshing <3 They offer lots of flavors not just for the batter, but also for the frosting, with any colour scheme customized for your order at no additional cost! You have to choose one flavor for the cupcake batter, but then get up to 3 frosting flavors if you'd like!! First met Bam Bam bakery at the indoor farmer's market, so extremely psyched to feature them at our wedding <3!

Tina is an absolutely peach! She is so flexible and fun, she is willing to adjust or add for your desired wedding cake/treats!

With many guests being gluten free and dairy free we decided to go with bam bam bakery. We have had cake from here and found it to be delicious. I myself are not gluten free and I can't even tell the difference! Bam bam deliver the cake on time even with a 1.5hour drive away from their bakery. The guests raved about the carrot cake and lemon cake!

My husband is gluten free, and we had several guests with dairy allergies – so chose to have all our wedding cakes from Bam Bam Bakery. In lieu of a large tiered cake, we selected an assortment of 10 cakes, and everyone absolutely loved them! Most people had no idea that they were dairy and gluten free – our caterer said that he plated 250 pieces for our 165 guests and they were all consumed! Because this is a working retail bakery and small operation, it can be challenging to communicate with the busy owner – weddings are not their primary business. However, for the price (very reasonable) and the delicious end result we could not be happier.

My husband and I needed gluten free desserts for our wedding as my mom and several guests have celiac disease. BamBam's primary focus is their storefront, and we were ordering from California over the phone, so we did run in to a couple snags ordering, but any problems were addressed quickly.

We ordered a carrot cake and whoopie pies from BamBam and were not disappointed. Their prices were fantastic and the flavors were great. The carrot cake was perfect - not too sweet, and guests raved about the raisins and walnuts. Seeing the smile on my mom's face while she ate a big piece of wedding cake made it all worth it! If you need gluten free, you need to order from BamBam!
