Balagan Entertainment is Omri Anghel and Stahv Danker, DJs for Jewish, Israeli and Israeli-American weddings across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Miami, LA, and beyond.

Omri is the Music Director and resident DJ for The Good People Group, chef Eyal Shani's restaurants in the United States. He built the music program for all of them, including HaSalon, Port Said, Malka, Miznon, Naked Tomato, Bella and the Michelin-starred Shmone, and he flies out to open each new room. The Israeli and American blend is not a genre we learned for weddings. It is the sound we were hired to build.

What we do

Most of our couples are secular, with families ranging from traditional to not observant at all. Half the room grew up in Israel and half grew up here, and the job is one dance floor where nobody sits down. We build the hora properly, we move between Israeli and American music without it feeling like two separate parties, and Omri MCs in both English and Hebrew.

Book us as a DJ alone, or with one or two live musicians, saxophone, percussion, guitar or violin, playing over the set. We also cover bar and bat mitzvahs, private events and corporate parties.

Where we play

Cipriani, the American Museum of Natural History, Barclays Center, Citi Field, Knockdown Center, The Standard, The Public Hotel, The Bowery Hotel, Nebula, the Wythe Hotel and Shell's Loft in Brooklyn, and The Legacy Castle, Maritime Parc and Hudson House in New Jersey. We work in Miami and Los Angeles too.
