We ordered our cake and told them what we wanted with decorations, and the cake was beautiful and a hit! The cupcakes are also phenomenal! I've never have had a dry or unpleasant cake from Bake N Cakes! So yummy!

We did cupcakes from them. It was awesome. The guests got to try different kinds instead of being stuck with a certain cake flavor. The price was totally resonable and we were very pleased.

They actually delivered our wedding cake to Plymouth, Michigan (over 60 miles away) for a nominal fee. Well worth the cost! Such YUMMY cake!

Bake N Cakes is a local bakery that's been in the community for years, and they have always been commited to great service and giving back, which is why i chose them to do the cake. It tasted great, looked great, and wasn't too expensive. I would highly recommend them.

Bake n' Cakes made 150 cupcakes for our wedding. We were expecting good things and they did not dissapoint. Everyone loved them and loved having their choice of flavor. It ended up being cheaper than having a cake made as well. The only reason I took off 0.2 stars is because I found their website a little cumbersome.

Bake N Cakes has some of the most delicious cake I have ever tasted in my life. I emailed them a picture from the Internet and they were able to mimic it. I had people coming to find me to tell me how gorgeous the cake was when it arrived, and they were right. Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted amazing -- we didn't have a single piece leftover.

They were a little difficult to work with as a bride planning a wedding from a distance -- they were the only vendor I worked with who wouldn't mail or email me a contract to sign, so I had to have my sister go in person. Most emails were responded to with "come in to see us" when I could not. I was a little stressed about that, but the cake turned out beautiful and delicious and totally affordable, so it worked out just fine in the end.

They worked with us as our wedding was on a Sunday and they usually don't deliver then!

There was a mis-communication when ordering my cake with the filling. I had intended to have a lemon curd filling, but i was given a buttercream. It's not detrimental, was just a disappointment. I will know next time to specify explicitly. The colors were also much darker than I thought they were going to be, despite providing (upon their request) my own color swatches. The flower on the top was plastic and ordered, not made in-house like I had hoped, but I guess for a smaller cake, they don't go "all out." Over all, great experience and I am still a frequent flyer of their cupcakes and dream cake!

The price quoted me was apparently incorrect, and since it wasn't written, they would not honor it when the bill came around. I gave them a design from a magazine, they said they could do it, and then it when the cake came it was not at all what the design was. It looked stupid and unprofessional. Also, they were more than two hours late delivering the cake. It barely made it in time for the reception. Also, I had coupons that they had said they would honor before, but then they changed their mind and said they would not. If I had had the energy I would have gone to the BBB and complained and refused to pay at all.

But the cake is some of the best in Lansing, so at least it tasted good. I wouldn't know though, as the servers took mine away while I was dancing with my husband, and I hadn't even gotten to taste it yet! :-/
