We went back and forth between about a dozen photographers, but we just kept coming back to Avonné's incredible candids and unbelievable hues - and we're so lucky that we did! If you are planning your wedding or any other moment you will want to remember forever, Avonné is the only way to go. We have looked over our photos nearly every day since our wedding, and they just become more and more beautiful. Somehow, she captured every emotion, every detail, just the way that it all felt in the moment.

There aren’t enough good things to say about Avonne! From our very first face-time my fiancé and I immediately felt like we knew her for years. Meeting her in person for our engagement session was beyond expectations. Not only did she work with our busy schedules but also traveled 2 hours to Blowing Rock for us. I originally hired Avonné to shoot my wedding; however, with COVID-19, we decided to have a tiny wedding with only 9 guests at a cabin in the woods. We could not have asked for a better photographer. She was so bubbly, outgoing, and kind. I have an eating disorder + body dysmorphia and Avonné was so loving and supportive as I navigated all of this. She distracted me so that I didn't spend the entire day thinking about my body/appearance. Not many vendors know how to work with brides with eating disorders, so I was grateful that Avonné was able to help me. Also, it was POURING on the day of our wedding, but Avonné didn't mind hiking around in the freezing rain with us, offering praise and humor throughout the entirety of our couple's portraits. She captured so many important moments and was very understanding of our vision for the day. Also, I can't begin to praise her enough for her amazing personality and professionalism. She arrived early to our venue, spent time scoping out ideal photography spots, and was incredibly personable with all our guests. Having Avonné at my wedding felt like having another loved one present. Because of COVID, my best friend couldn't attend, but I felt less like I didn't have any friends present because Avonné was there. She really fit in with our family and added so much warmth to the day! I should also note that her photography is INCREDIBLE. She knows how to capture candid moments. Her understanding of light is impeccable. She made me feel beautiful and that is not a normal feeling for me to experience. Truly, Avonné is an incredible artist, professional, and human. I am so grateful she shot my tiny wedding and helped make my day even more special. If she wasn't relocating, I'd want her to photograph all of my life events. Avonné is the best of the best in the business. She is truly passionate about what she does along with all her couples, and it shows in her photos! My husband and I had both our engagement photos and wedding photos with her, and both times she blew us away.
