The photo booth was a great addition to our special day and we had a blast looking through the photos after. We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Mike and AMS DJ Entertainment! From the very beginning, Mike went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident, comfortable, and excited about having him DJ our wedding. He was incredibly accommodating, flexible, responsive, and genuinely invested in bringing our exact vision to life. He answered every question we had and made the entire process feel so easy and stress-free.

One thing that really stood out to us was how far Mike was willing to go before we had even officially booked him. He drove 45 minutes from where he lives to our venue simply to make sure the space could accommodate the lighting setup we envisioned. That level of dedication and willingness to go the extra mile says so much about the kind of person he is and the way he approaches his work.

On our wedding day, Mike was absolutely incredible. He did so much more than simply play music—he helped keep the entire reception flowing smoothly by coordinating dances, speeches, announcements, and transitions throughout the night. Everything felt organized and seamless, while still being fun and energetic. He read the room perfectly and helped create such an amazing atmosphere for us and our guests.

Beyond being an amazing DJ, Mike is just an all-around wonderful person. He has such great energy, is incredibly personable, and truly cares about the couples he works with. My fiancé and I met Mike at a wedding vendor fair and we connected with him right away. He is such a nice guy and easy going. Made us feel so comfortable. He worked with me with all my little quirks to timings for songs during the ceremony, grand entrances, and parent dances. He works with you to bring your vision to life. My family is Greek and he was so open to letting me send him songs to use, was super respectful for everything. Played the playlist I sent to him plus some additional songs that he chose which were hits! Including the uplighting was such a fun experience too. We loved him along with our family and friends. We had an amazing wedding thanks to Mike. We even had our 101 year old family friend dancing on the dance floor. Such an unforgettable night. Highly recommend Mike!!

I can't express how integral Mike was to executing our vision for our wedding. He was not only involved every step of the way, he also provided us with really helpful advice based on his extensive experience. He accommodated all our requests for our unique wedding which included a bilingual ceremony, pre-recorded announcements and specific song requests. The lighting he provided was also absolutely crucial to the ambiance of the entire party. From the ceremony to cocktail hour and reception, Mike was a major player in making our wedding literally perfect. I can't thank him enough. My fiancé and I got married at the Wadsworth Mansion in July 2026. We cannot rave about Mike enough! He is super responsive, answers every question and delivered such a beautiful product. We went through his company for the all the lighting, Photo Booth, dj-ing/mc-ing and dance floor. He really is a one stop shop for all things wedding especially at the Wadsworth with his beautiful bistro lights!

Mike was so helpful in making our dreams and plans for our wedding come true. He did our ceremony and reception plus our photobooth. Everything was perfect and flowed well. He checked in with us throughout the night and made sure it went smoothly.

Mike was amazing to work with! He took all our notes on what we wanted the vibes of the dance floor to be and nailed it! We got so many compliments on the music and the dance floor was full the whole time! The lighting was perfect as well - classy during early evening then super fun and colorful for dancing!

Our event was a Celebration of Life for a very well loved friend. Mike handled the sound and all the AV, which included playing two videos for the assembled group. From the initial contact through the end of the event, Mike was on top of everything we asked, and exceeded our expectations. Through the planning process it was obvious he has done events like ours many, many times, and his creative suggestions and overall professional delivery on the day of the event surpassed my expectations. Though it wasn't a wedding, I could easily see how Mike would handle a wedding... actually any gathering at all... quite adeptly. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being "strongly recommend" I would easily call it a "10" performance, partly because it all went to plan, partly because Mike's presence made a difference, and mostly because our guests were able to celebrate the memory of the person we lost together - an experience we'll never forget.

My wife and I are so happy we hired Mike for our wedding at the Branford House! He brought the perfect mix of professionalism and fun - an absolute pleasure to work with across both wedding planning and the wedding day itself.

We spoke to other DJs early on while planning our wedding and found they tried often to sell us on their off-the-shelf services without really bothering to first understand who we were and what we wanted. Mike is just the opposite. He started by making a personal connection, and then helped us plan our wedding day from there.

From the ceremony to the speeches, dinner music to dance music, Mike ran everything flawlessly. As an emcee, he had just the right touch to give our guests direction and make things fun without being overbearing or corny (like some DJs we’ve seen at other weddings).

Mike listened to exactly what we wanted, making sure to hit all our "must-plays,” completely respecting our "do-not-play" list. On the day, he read the room perfectly. The audio cues, music, and even the lighting were perfect. He knew exactly how to keep the energy high once the reception started, responding to what people were dancing with, taking new requests, and mixing seamlessly from song to song like a true DJ. Our dance floor was absolutely packed all night long, and the lighting effects added that extra-oomph to make for party atmosphere that wowed our guests.

We also decided to book the additional uplighting and photo booth packages Mike offers, which we definitely would recommend if they fit your venue - for the Branford House, they were perfect to make the space even more special.
