I must sing the praises of Attos by Design. Attos and Nicole have done nothing but right by us.

When I graduated, my then-boyfriend now-spouse wanted to get me a nice gift. We walked all over Portland looking at the usual stores. We had a budget. Everything the others tried to sell us looked, well, like we were on a budget. Attos had the perfect necklace -- a little sparkly thing, 1950s, just my style and truly beautiful.

When my boyfriend now-spouse invited me to go ring shopping, our first stop was Attos. The first ring Nicole showed us was what he bought me in the end. Another piece from the 1950s, super sparkly, on which I've gotten so many compliments. It was in our price-range and gorgeously individual -- not like the options elsewhere.

We later needed to look for bands. My husband is a big guy with working man's hands, so it wasn't a small amount of metal. Attos made the band for a good price. It looks excellent.

Finally, when I was looking for my own band, I thought I was doing the right thing by going to an after-Christmas sale at a large national store. WRONG. I purchased the band at the "sale price," thinking I was prudent. The store's vendor sent it to me by mail. Then I came back to the store to have it sized. The national store sent it away for sizing. The sizer couldn't size it -- my hands were too small. So much back and forth for nothing. I went back to Attos to look at estate pieces for my band, but none of them spoke to me. Finally, I shared the design of the ring that I really liked with Attos. He said he could make it. I asked how much it would cost, expecting a big jump in price. His price was 1/2 of what the national store’s “sale price.” The band is just what I wanted, there was no fuss about it, and it actually fits me.

We got presents for our mothers and my maid of honor at Attos, too. Everyone has been so happy.
