I had my wedding here and this place is just incredible!!! Thank you for sharing your resort with my family and friends. We will definitely be coming back for our yearly anniversary!!

We had rented this resort all to ourselves our wedding weekend. There were 30 of us in total and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. We had the ceremony on the beach and the reception on the beach under undertake lighted palm trees. The staff was amazing, especially Ashley who went out of her way to make sure my day was perfect. Now we have have a place to return every year for our anniversary! Thank you, Atlantic Bay!

BEAUTIFUL VENUE!!! My fiancee and I grew up in the Keys and were ecstatic to find this hidden gem! We drove up and down the upper keys looking for the perfect venue and we found it at Atlantic Bay Resort!! We looked EVERYWHERE. Located on the bay it was the perfect backdrop for a sunset wedding! Ashley, the event coordinator, was responsive to all the questions and EXTREMELY helpful the day of the wedding. I don't know what I would have done without her!! Ted, the owner, was very accommodating and has turned the place into a spectacular oasis. The rooms are newly renovated and my guests LOVED it there! It was so nice to be able to hangout with family and friends before and after the wedding. We didn't just have a wedding day but a wedding weekend!!

Atlantic Bay was a gorgeous place to have our wedding. The sunsets were fantastic and the views were unparalleled. It was a challenge getting things set though, as the staff member that had been working with us quit just before our wedding. Stephanie and Kay really stepped up and made sure nothing fell off anyone's radar. Also the rooms were recently renovated and they looked amazing for our guests... So modern and a relief compared to some resorts! ABR has the goods on the outside and the inside. The weather forced us to move our reception indoors (fact: room 19 can fit about 50 people, flowers, a DJ, and two cakes in a pinch!) and due to the absolute chaos and weather destruction, there was a mess afterwards. The housekeeping crew were champs and did a fantastic job. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it for weddings.

We had an excellent experience with Atlantic Bay Resort. They were very flexible and extremely responsive to our needs and ongoing questions. The site fee is higher than comparable resorts in the Upper Keys but the venue is beautiful and the office manager is very helpful. We are looking forward to visiting on upcoming anniversaries.

We were married on April 3, 2017 at Atlantic Bay Resort and it couldn't have been more of a perfect day! The grounds are beautiful. Clean, neat, tropical paradise. When booking a wedding, you're required to book three nights minimum and you must reserve the entire resort. Meaning if your guests bail on you last minute and you can't find someone to fill that room, you're stuck with it! Luckily, we had almost all of our guests stay on site and only ended up having to pay for our own room and the suite next door (#17 & #19) It actually worked out for the best and I would recommend booking both suites it if you can afford to. Since the ceremony and reception was all on site we allowed our guests to use the bathroom in the suite if they didn't want to use the bathroom near the office or their own private bathrooms in their suites. Also, I didn't have to sleep on someone's couch while my soon to be wife hung out in a 2 bedroom suite LOL, rather I was able to lay out in my own room for the night before the big day.
The staff was great while we were there. Kind, accommodating and not lingering around every corner.

Communication was a little muddy as we were planning a destination wedding and that comes with it's own set of anxiety. Outside of being out of sync with the staff from afar the wedding went off without a hitch. Our guests absolutely loved it. It was a beautiful thing to be able to spend 3 days with your closest friends and family on a quiet, serene, private paradise. Thank you Atlantic Bay Resort staff for setting the foundation of some of the best days of our lives.

The property is gorgeous, the beach/water view is unbeatable and a gorgeous setting for our wedding. The rooms were very nice, a bit expensive but normal for the keys. The person that helped us leading to the wedding weekend was nice and had answers to most of my questions but not overly attentive, didn't really go out of the way to provide help, support or resources in such an important event. Once we arrived to the venue the onsite manager was nice in general but again not overly helpful or a problem solver. The rooms were kept clean and the venue was very clean as well and beautifully upkept. My wedding was absolutely fantastic and everything worked out pretty well with one exception. I was told of the keys noise restrictions after 11pm and knew the loud speakers (DJ) had to stop at 11pm which it did. However starting at around 10:30p we saw the manager keeping a close eye on us to make sure we were going to shut down and then right at 11:05p after we had already shut down the DJ at 11pm, the manager showed up with a Cop to try and kick us out. I felt very embarrassed with everyone because the plan was to hang out even without a DJ and everyone was staying on site so we wouldn't be bothering anyone. Everyone was sure that the manager had been the one that called the cop. The same cop had shown up the night before when we were hanging out at the pool late. We asked everyone sleeping on the property and not one person had heard any noises at all on Friday so we highly doubt that the neighbors called the cops, and are pretty sure it was the manager, we had a long chat with the cop and manager and we were able to hang out very very quietly (10inch voices) for a while. This put a dent on a wonderful weekend. So brides - be aware that at 11pm everyone basically needs to go to sleep, which was not at all clear to me when i booked this wonderful venue.

Although I really feel bad about giving this hotel such poor reviews I was extremely frustrated by their horrible customer service. We used this venue as an overflow for our guests to stay at for a nearby wedding. When I first called I spoke to a wonderful gentleman who seemed to appreciate my business. Once the invitations were mailed and guests were calling they would not be able to book their room for some reason or only if would book 2 nights. The list goes on & on about the times I called and usually spoke to the manager Kelly who was always busy and promised to call me back and never did. We did end up booking all of their rooms and I heard no complaints from any guests once they were there but even found out guests were not given their welcome bags which contained important info on transportation to the wedding! I hope they get some competent office staff as they have a nice hotel and the rates are not bad.
