Dream Bay Resort is a romantic wedding venue in Key Largo, FL. Imagine having a private waterfront property, all to yourselves, just you and your guests, among the swaying palms and shimmering waves of one of the Florida Keys' most beautiful and unique wedding venues!
Dream Bay Resort is a private, family-owned waterfront property with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Florida Keys' unforgettable sunsets. Located just an hour from Miami International Airport, Dream Bay Resort can accommodate weddings of up to 200 guests, including 36 staying on-site in our 5 lovely cottages. We also offer simple yet romantic elopements and microweddings for up to 50 guests.
Our gorgeous property is an ideal spot to spend time with your family and friends before and after your ceremony. There is plenty of space for you and your wedding party to spread out and celebrate your big day. Choose between picturesque beach locations or our gorgeous sunset pier for your ceremony, and our large tiki is great for your reception and dancing! Dream Bay offers a non-corporate, laid-back, "boho" vibe with sandy beaches, hammocks, and tiki huts. Paddle boards and kayaks are provided for guest use.
To make your wedding planning even easier, we provide tables, chairs, permanent lighting, set up/breakdown, arch, or bamboo arbor, so the framework for your wedding is already in place. All you need to do is pick your vendors for catering, entertainment, and decor, and we make that easy, too, with our preferred vendor list, or you can choose your own. You can even bring in your own alcohol! This gives you more control over your budget and allows you to create the kind of wedding that fits your unique style and taste. Nearby hotels and motels make it simple to accommodate all your guests, and we're conveniently located near all of Key Largo's main attractions, like John Pennekamp Park, swim with dolphin programs, many fine restaurants, sport fishing fleets, and shopping.

Because we were planning our wedding from outside the country, we opted to use their on site property manager / wedding planner Lana and we highly recommend anyone considering this addition to not think twice!! She went above and beyond to make things easier for us, was always available for any questions and was extremely easy to communicate with and was ultimately the reason why our entire weekend went exactly as we hoped it would. She even allowed us to ship packages to her ahead of time so we didn’t have to travel with bulky items. That level of support made such a difference while planning from afar.
We hosted three events over the weekend—a welcome party, our wedding, and a brunch. Lana truly brought our vision to life for each one. Her creativity and eye for décor are incredible. She was able to recreate Pinterest inspiration we sent her from just a single photo, and everything turned out even better than we imagined. The entire Dream Bay team was amazing, and they handled the setup and breakdown of tables and chairs for all of our events, which made the weekend feel seamless.
One of the best decisions we made was renting out the entire property. Being able to walk between the cottages to visit friends and family throughout the weekend made everything feel intimate and relaxed, and it made getting to each of our events incredibly convenient for everyone.
Obviously the setting itself is absolutely stunning— the sunsets and waterfront views provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos.

The vendors recommended by Dream Bay were spot-on - they knew the property and handled everything with a professionalism -- allowing the bride and groom (and families) to just enjoy the time!
Our recommended "bundle" would include: Tony and A Moveable Feast for outstanding food and service, Lori and Island Blooms for the freshest, beautiful flowers, Gina/The Pastry Mermaid who treated us with a Key Lime/Coconut Rum wedding cake, DJ Mayner who "read" the crowd perfectly and Jannette De Llanos wedding photography who captured it all with ease and professionalism. Don't forget Mike's BBQ101 to kick off the 4 day celebration with a beach gathering. (Will review these individually.)
