We started working with Ashlyn when she captured our proposal and she continued to be a part of our story through engagements and our wedding day. She is the kindest soul who truly gives her all to every couple she works with. Her communication is top-notch and you will never be left wondering where your photography planning process is at. Whether picking up detail florals the day before your wedding for you, triple checking shot ideas so you get the pictures you want, or going back and removing your officiant from your first kiss pic (yes she did all three of these for us), she goes above and beyond every second of every day. Her prices are incredibly reasonable in such an inflated economy for what she provides and because she only offers 25 weddings a year, you get much more individualized attention than many other photographers. As a person, she and her husband Josh (who is her second shooter/all around best sidekick) will do whatever it takes to make it the wedding of your dreams. Even if your day is not about the pictures, the memories they capture will be treasured by you for a lifetime.

Ash helped pictures go smoothly and helped my anxious brain chill out! I was stressed about a million things on my wedding day but pictures were not one of them. I found Ashlynn French photos on Instagram while looking for a photographer for our wedding. We decided to book her for the best day of our lives and she did not disappoint one bit, in fact she went way over above and beyond. She did way more and contributed to my wedding way more than she had to but she saw things that needed to be done or fixed and absolutely turned my wedding around when the natural stressors of a wedding was transpiring. If I hadn’t had booked her specifically I know for a fact certain things would not have gone right. Our engagment photos in October were the most gorgeous fall photos any couple could have asked for she made it fun making it so we forgot a camera was on us. Our wedding was in November and of course we live in Utah so on the big day the rain just kept coming down and wouldn’t stop. As I was stressing about that she was pulling out clear umbrellas and hand warmers for us. Her attitude about the weather was so positive it made me believe we benefited from the rain and when I saw my wedding photos you could tell we absolutely did benefit from it. She even gave us a free (post) bridal session to make up for the fact it was raining something she didn’t have to do by any means. I’d say you’d be crazy if you didn’t hire her as your wedding photographer. I made a friend and a person to admire. I am beyond grateful to have found Ash and to have hired her to shoot not only our wedding day but our engagements and first looks as well. My husband and I recently had couples photos taken by Ash after a terrible experience with our previous photographer. She was ABOVE AND BEYOND what we could’ve asked for. Her communication was off the charts, she’s the sweetest girl and so so talented! Ash is so knowledgeable about lighting, photoshop, locations, posing, outfit recommendations, and is constantly checking the weather and anything that may interfere with your day. She’s on top of everything and as if the experience wasn’t enough of a surprise we received sneak peeks less than 24 hours after our session! We were ELATED! Then once we got the photos back… she included black & whites that are TO DIE FOR! Hiring her is not just an experience… it’s a friendship gained and a boost to your confidence because she’ll make you feel how you should… valued, adored, and beautiful/handsome. My husband and I have both modeled/worked with numerous photographers and it’s safe to say she’s our favorite by a landslide. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss out. I promise you won’t regret it!

We were so fortunate to come across Ash through a local bride facebook group - immediately we knew her photography style was exactly what we were looking for! We ended up booking her nearly 2 years ahead of our wedding date and in that time we had regular communication to make us feel like our wedding was important to her no matter how many months out we were. Leading up to our day we had a full meeting where we covered every detail and shot so we felt fully prepared knowing what to anticipate, which made my type A self feel so much better. I even approached her only about 2 weeks out to let her know I was surprising my husband with the Mets mascot. Not only was she incredibly excited about it but helped me coordinate the coverage of the surprise completely unbeknownst to my husband. I couldn’t believe how flexible she was and took every update in stride!

As prepared as we were, Mother Nature had other plans and it ended up pouring the whole afternoon that we were set to take photos. Ash was a true professional and found us the most incredible back up options at a venue she had never even photographed before, and now looking at the photos you can’t even tell it was raining. Even if it meant her getting soaking wet standing outside, she was getting the shot no matter what.
