If you are debating which photographer to go with for your wedding Ashlyn is the best choice HANDS DOWN. We started working with Ashlyn when she captured our proposal and she continued to be a part of our story through engagements and our wedding day. She is the kindest soul who truly gives her all to every couple she works with. Her communication is top-notch and you will never be left wondering where your photography planning process is at. Whether picking up detail florals the day before your wedding for you, triple checking shot ideas so you get the pictures you want, or going back and removing your officiant from your first kiss pic (yes she did all three of these for us), she goes above and beyond every second of every day. Her prices are incredibly reasonable in such an inflated economy for what she provides and because she only offers 25 weddings a year, you get much more individualized attention than many other photographers. As a person, she and her husband Josh (who is her second shooter/all around best sidekick) will do whatever it takes to make it the wedding of your dreams. Even if your day is not about the pictures, the memories they capture will be treasured by you for a lifetime. -

The best advocate!
Ash helped pictures go smoothly and helped my anxious brain chill out! I was stressed about a million things on my wedding day but pictures were not one of them. Ash was the best advocate to make sure I got the pictures I wanted the way I wanted them. She made sure I felt seen and allowed me to be picky with certain aspects of our photos without making me ever feel high maintenance! She was thorough but quick which is exactly what my family needed. We’ve hired her for 3 weddings in my family and all have turned out amazing! Thank you Ash! -

I found Ashlynn French photos on Instagram while looking for a photographer for our wedding. We decided to book her for the best day of our lives and she did not disappoint one bit, in fact she went way over above and beyond. She did way more and contributed to my wedding way more than she had to but she saw things that needed to be done or fixed and absolutely turned my wedding around when the natural stressors of a wedding was transpiring. If I hadn’t had booked her specifically I know for a fact certain things would not have gone right. Our engagment photos in October were the most gorgeous fall photos any couple could have asked for she made it fun making it so we forgot a camera was on us. Our wedding was in November and of course we live in Utah so on the big day the rain just kept coming down and wouldn’t stop. As I was stressing about that she was pulling out clear umbrellas and hand warmers for us. Her attitude about the weather was so positive it made me believe we benefited from the rain and when I saw my wedding photos you could tell we absolutely did benefit from it. She even gave us a free (post) bridal session to make up for the fact it was raining something she didn’t have to do by any means. I’d say you’d be crazy if you didn’t hire her as your wedding photographer. I made a friend and a person to admire. I hope one day I have the resilience, courage, positivity, and straight love this amazing woman gives to all her clients. -Colton&Dawn -

Beyond happy to have found her!!!
I am beyond grateful to have found Ash and to have hired her to shoot not only our wedding day but our engagements and first looks as well. I had somewhat of a vision in my head for what I was wanting, shared that with her and allowed her to work her magic to make those visions come to life. Her and her Husband Josh were so fun to work with, from easy carefree conversations to helping both myself and husband feel comfortable being in front of a lens (we are awkward lol). We have HUNDREDS of photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
I was brought to tears when Ash had sent us our Wedding Day Album, that album allowed us to relive our wedding day as if we were a fly on a wall and I will forever be grateful for her in understanding how important that was to me. She is truly amazing at what she does, a genuine character and just loves love. You will not regret working with her and you will have a friend for life. -

Ash was seriously the best photographer we could have asked for to document our wedding day. She was amazing at getting through the photos efficiently, and didn't miss a single thing during the process. Her and her husband Josh had our backs the entire day and made sure things flowed the way we wanted. We had so many guests comment on how amazing Ash was at capturing all the special moments and how great she was at directing family & friends during photos. Couldn't recommend anyone better! My husband and I recently had couples photos taken by Ash after a terrible experience with our previous photographer. She was ABOVE AND BEYOND what we could’ve asked for. Her communication was off the charts, she’s the sweetest girl and so so talented! Ash is so knowledgeable about lighting, photoshop, locations, posing, outfit recommendations, and is constantly checking the weather and anything that may interfere with your day. She’s on top of everything and as if the experience wasn’t enough of a surprise we received sneak peeks less than 24 hours after our session! We were ELATED! Then once we got the photos back… she included black & whites that are TO DIE FOR! Hiring her is not just an experience… it’s a friendship gained and a boost to your confidence because she’ll make you feel how you should… valued, adored, and beautiful/handsome. My husband and I have both modeled/worked with numerous photographers and it’s safe to say she’s our favorite by a landslide. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss out. I promise you won’t regret it! -

One of the best choices we made for our wedding!
We were so fortunate to come across Ash through a local bride facebook group - immediately we knew her photography style was exactly what we were looking for! We ended up booking her nearly 2 years ahead of our wedding date and in that time we had regular communication to make us feel like our wedding was important to her no matter how many months out we were. Leading up to our day we had a full meeting where we covered every detail and shot so we felt fully prepared knowing what to anticipate, which made my type A self feel so much better. I even approached her only about 2 weeks out to let her know I was surprising my husband with the Mets mascot. Not only was she incredibly excited about it but helped me coordinate the coverage of the surprise completely unbeknownst to my husband. I couldn’t believe how flexible she was and took every update in stride!
As prepared as we were, Mother Nature had other plans and it ended up pouring the whole afternoon that we were set to take photos. Ash was a true professional and found us the most incredible back up options at a venue she had never even photographed before, and now looking at the photos you can’t even tell it was raining. Even if it meant her getting soaking wet standing outside, she was getting the shot no matter what.
We could not be happier with our entire gallery and it perfectly captured the entire essence of our wedding. Ash and her incredible husband Josh are now some of our favorite people and gave us memories that will last a lifetime. Do yourself a favor and book Ash ASAP!!!

Wonderful photographer!!
We had such an excellent experience working with Ashlyn! Our photos were beautiful, and the package we got gave us so many well-edited digital photos and the ability to customize a lovely album. I also loved getting several “sneak peak” photos so soon after the wedding. These were absolutely beautiful and still are some of my favorites; it was so nice to be able to share them so quickly. Besides the photos themselves, Ashlyn was wonderful. She was calm and joyous, perfectly balancing being fun with getting all those group shots done quickly and efficiently! I would absolutely recommend her! -

Ash is the most incredible photographer and such an amazing, bubbly and happy person! I'm a model and have shot with her on multiple occasions for brands and styled shoots. She can make any shoot fun and puts SO much time, thought, energy, and attention to detail into every project she does. Recently my husband I shot some bridals with her and they exceeded all of my expectations. She talked us through the whole project beforehand and listened to our opinions and concerns such as editing our skin tone correctly etc. Her husband Josh was so helpful during the entire shoot and between the two of them they took care of all the things, such as holding phones, accessories, making sure hair was positioned correctly, and demonstrating poses. She has a way of capturing your love so naturally. They are truly pictures I will cherish forever! -

I can not put into words our experience with Ash, she is absolutely incredible. Every step of the way, she made us feel so seen and heard. We were not the most comfortable people in front of the camera and she had me and my husband laughing and felt so natural, she made it feel easy. I don’t even know how to begin this because I have so many great things to say about Ash and her husband Josh. I’ll begin by saying you will NOT regret booking with Ash. She is a literal ANGEL and so so fun to be around. All the jitters from being in front of the camera will go away when she is capturing your love!! after our session I literally felt like her and josh were our best friends.
before our shoot ash was awesome at communicating with me about our shoot and was very flexible. she drove over an hour away to make my dream come true of bridals with longhorns. as soon as I mentioned the idea she was on it so fast! i love that she took my visions and made them REAL, and so so perfect. she made my vision for my bridals better than I could have ever imagined.
if you choose to shoot with ASH the energy will be so upbeat and fun! i don’t think there was a moment where me and my husband weren’t laughing, which i love. she is so personable and easy to be around.
after our session, she sent me so many behind the scene moments from our shoot, as well as a bunch of sneak peaks!! i was blown away by the sneaks and it made the anticipation to see the full gallery so much worse haha! i love that she takes time to do this after her shoots, such a perk of booking with her!!
I could literally go on and on about Ash and Josh, but i will say, you will not regret booking them!! they are the best folk and her photography and style is memorizing.

I was recommended Ashlyn by some friends who had their pictures taken by her. I wanted someone to take fun graduation pictures. And I was looking at Ashlyn’s instagram for months, and I thought her work was just incredible! I reached out about taking photos, and she responded so quickly! Ashlyn is so bubbly, and she was so excited for my cute graduation photos! She has always been super professional throughout all my interactions with her, and she makes me laugh so hard whenever I see her!!
As for her photos…just breathtaking. She truly is a professional based on her knowledge about lightning, angles, positing, etc. She captures personality so well! She took my graduation photos and captured my quirkiness and fun so well. I was so over the moon with how they turned out! Then she took some fall family photos, and the pictures were so authentic. She wanted to try some fun and new creative ideas with her pictures, so I really just wanted to follow her vision. Let me tell you, THIS GIRL HAS A VISION! I could see the tenderness between my husband and I so well. I actually started to cry when I got the photos back from her. Her pictures are a work of art. Truly, if I had to use 3 words to describe her work, it would be: timeless, creative, and authentic. Ashlyn is going to be our photographer for all future family gatherings, births, weddings, you name it! -

Ashlyn is the best!
WE LOVE ASHLYN! I found Ashlyn on instagram and hired her as my wedding photographer. She went above and beyond. Not only was she extremely organized and professional, but she is very efficient and commands a room. My husband and I were very impressed by her, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ashlyn to friends and family that need a photographer in the future. Additionally, her photos are gorgeous! Everyone has been raving about her since our wedding a few days ago.

It was fate!
Among the many reasons planning a wedding is super stressful, I and my husband found that finding a photographer that fits our personalities, is flexible, and is willing to fly all the way to our hometown for our wedding day was a challenge. It was seriously FATE when I found Ashlyn on the Knot. Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she made ALL the stress about capturing our big day disappear into thin air. Not only did we find out she grew up close to our hometown, but even before she launched her very successful career in photography she was studying to become an interpreter for ASL (American sign language). This really was the cherry on top because on top of Ashlyn and her husband’s amazing and fun personalities she was able to make communication a lot easier for my husband who was born deaf. From our engagement photos to our big wedding day we were blown away by Ashlyn’s professionalism, experience, and pure beauty that she was able to capture on camera. We love Ashlyn and her Husband so much and will defiantly be keeping in touch with them throughout our lives they are seriously the best!

Best photographer out there!!
I was so happy with my decision to choose Ashlyn as my photographer for my special day!! She did amazing with job with our engagements and helped us with poses. She was very flexible with rescheduling my bridals, I got my dress two days before and it was all wrong and she was VERY understanding! She captured the love between my husband and I so well! She made us feel so comfortable and calm, she will hype you up and capture ALL the moments. That is also how she was on our wedding day, coming from a very big family, it was hard to get everybody’s attention. Both of our parents were very impressed with her and how she can get all the pictures we wanted and even get the kids to look! She paid very close attention to the details of our reception and caught some very touching moments with our friends and family! I’m very grateful that we trusted her and invested in her for our special day and now we have so many amazing pictures to look at for the rest of our lives! I will always recommend her for your special day♥️ -

The best wedding investment!
Ash is amazing! She was so flexible with our ever-so-changing wedding plans due to the pandemic. She's great at helping you and your spouse feel comfortable in front of the camera AND she has an awesome sense of humor so we were giggling the whole time! At our wedding she caught all the small details. It was important for us to have candid pictures of our elopement and she delivered perfectly. She has an affordable price and her style is so authentic. 10/10 recommend her! -

Dream Wedding Photographer
I wanted my wedding pictures to be perfect, and Ashlyn did just that! I love that she asked me what kinds of poses I wanted before the wedding so I didn’t have to stress the day of and she took charge. Future brides, you can stop your photographer search here! Ash is hands down the BEST you can get. My husband and I got married in the midst of covid, as if a planning a wedding wasn’t stressful enough. But Ash found a way to make it stress free, fun, and memorable. From your engagements, to bridals, and on your wedding day she will do all that she can to meet your needs and capture every moment. Don’t worry if you and your significant other have never been in front of a camera, she will help you pose and make you feel comfortable. She will quickly respond to you, help you brain storm ideas, help you find vendors, will be flexible, and is very professional. We loved her so much my mom hired her to take our family photos a few months later! I am so glad I chose Ashlyn French to be my photographer. -
