Arbor House is a collaborative business venture between two seasoned professionals. We bring over 35 years of combined experience in the floral industry to this project.Motivated by the artistic vitality of downtown New Orleans and driven by a desire for strong community involvement within our neighborhoods, we are dedicated to serving greater New Orleans while remaining focused on the growing downtown. We are proud to be a part of the renaissance of “new” New Orleans.

About Us

The culture of New Orleans created the climate for this business partnership. We met as members of a Mystic Mardi Krewe known for it’s creative costumes and lavish Ball Masque. As we became friends “shop talk” turned into serious discussions of a joint business venture. It just seemed the thing to do. Knowing most of the pit falls of the flower biz, we decided to do one event together. Just to see how and if our two very strong artistic souls could work together. To say this first collaboration was a success is an understatement. The event was beautiful and came together with ease. The bride, the all important mother of the bride as well as all the other professionals were delighted with our work. We knew this had to be. After long debates and a few different names we chose Arbor House.
Finding and choosing a location for the business was also a process and required a lot of patience. We knew that we wanted to open in the downtown area and preferably in the Marigny/Bywater neighborhoods. In May of 2013 we opened our retail space in the New Orleans Healing Center. The Healing Center has quickly become the center of growth for the St. Claude Arts Corridor. We are thrilled to be a part of it.
